  1. I will say, at least this isn't our WR group. https://www.buffalobills.com/photos/meet-the-bills-wide-receivers-20629773#9698c432-3a04-477b-94d1-10d46f303c8e
  2. He's listed at 5'9" and 178 pounds. There have been plenty of shorter safeties but they are much heavier, so Hardy looks to be strictly a nickel. Even guys like Jim Leonard, Bob Sanders, and Tyrann Mathieu weighed at least 190. Can't see this as an option.
  3. Dude, our receivers were a huge problem last year, and on paper we look demonstrably worse now. Just once is it asking too much to give Josh Allen some love? Look at the other top qb's around the league and it is indisputable that they have better weapons than Allen. The top 10 qb's in the game imo (not in order) are Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Stroud, Hurts, Prescott, Love, Goff, Purdy, and Stafford. Some would argue Herbert, Tua, Rodgers, or Cousins are top 10. NO ONE has a worse group of receivers than Josh, except MAYBE Herbert. Hell, Caleb Williams steps in and essentially has 3 (!) number one options before ever playing a single game. Downplaying or ignoring this deficiency, as apparently Beane has decided (and you concur with), is flat out negligent with a unicorn QB in his prime.
  4. This feels like 2017 all over again, having to rely on guys like Jordan Matthews and Andre Holmes. At least then we knew we couldn't go anywhere with Tyrod at QB. This seems like such a sad, wasteful approach.
  5. Out of those available he is probably my favorite choice as well. Big guy who plays outside, can get down the field, and has had a 1000 yard season before. He battled injuries in 2021, then was a contributor to a very diverse Lions offense in 2022 before joining the Panthers dumpster fire last year. Chark would get plenty of looks here and is still only 27.
  6. That's the optimistic way of looking at things, and it has merit. The pessimistic view is that Joe Brady was struggling to scheme guys open last year, and now we have gone from two experienced outside receivers to none.
  7. It's Da'Rick Rogers per my sources
  8. They also have the greatest play caller and tight end in the history of football
  9. I wouldn't get your hopes up. He didn't do anything in his entire collegiate career
  10. I laugh when Justin Shorter's name is included in the mix for our WR issue. What is the fascination with this guy? He is slower than my grandma and didn't even produce in college, so why would we expect him to become a contributor? Is it solely because he was highly regarded coming out of high school?
  11. The most notable names remaining in free agency for what we need are (in no particular order) Allen Robinson, OBJ, DJ Chark, Michael Thomas, Michael Gallup, and Marquez Valdez-Scantling. I omitted Hunter Renfrow, Tyler Boyd, and Russell Gage as they would be redundant slot guys. Slim pickings for sure
  12. I'm eagerly awaiting us to draft the next Ellis Lankster
  13. Still need some depth at corner imo. But I agree, IF the moves you described are actually made
  14. Maybe he can light up Rodgers like Moats did to Favre
  15. I like this one for sure
  16. Yep would almost certainly be the case for any RB that is drafted, so the age doesn't really matter
  17. And let's inject politics into the draft discussion. Great idea
  18. It is when you're the Bills. We've seen this movie over and over
  19. There goes the last receiver that could really help us. So annoying year after year the lack of urgency placed on that position. Our WR room is dreadful
  20. It is a massive, blinking red light need regardless of drafting Coleman. We have almost zero speed AND have no proven separator on the outside.
  21. The writeups on this guy seem very positive. Would've preferred Franklin or Walker but this was a need. Let's hope Buffalo will still grab a 2nd wide out with speed
  22. To me this would be acceptable but hardly a dream scenario. McConkey is the only sure thing of those five and he has a relatively low ceiling
