  1. What does this mean as it relates to the Bills and AFC East supremacy? There's not much reason so far for anybody to be scared of Miami
  2. Exactly. The rare time when taxpayer expenditures will actually benefit Western New York and NOW all the people complain? There wasn't this much uproar for the Yankees and Mets stadiums. It's really beyond belief
  3. I love the narrative that Allen sucked before Diggs came along while not acknowledging that Stefon far exceeded career heights once coming to Buffalo
  4. Armstead for sure is good, but injury prone. Ditto for Mostert. I do like the signing of Wilson, and resigning their own fa's. They should be improved, especially with Hill, but I don't believe the Dolphins have moved the needle enough to challenge us for the division. There will be growing pains with a new coaching staff, and we all know the QB is iffy. The Bills have also owned Miami and the Dolphins basically have no draft now. In addition, we have the exact same schedule as far as home vs away. The only major difference is they get Houston instead of Tennessee. The other 2 different opponents are basically a wash - @ LAC instead of @ KC, and @ SF instead of @ LAR.
  5. Do they honestly believe this? Lol I'm sure McDermott and company are shaking in their boots
  6. They are decent, and at this point I would put them above the Pats. But the Dolphins have a first time head coach with new schemes and still plenty of weak spots. It's hard to see Miami putting it all together immediately under McDaniel, especially with the limitations at qb.
  7. Lol I don't even know how to describe his running style. He has good straight line speed but seems to lack football skills to put it mildly.
  8. Spot on, and the arms race in the North and West should allow us to do just that. No excuses to not get the 1 this year: Mia/Ny/Ne 5-1 Home vs Ten/Gb/Min/Pit/Cle. 3-2 Away vs Bal/Cin/Chi/Det/KC/La. 3-3 This is the worst case scenario, matching our record from last year at 11-6. One more win and 12-5 should absolutely be enough to secure the top seed
  9. Agreed. The bad news is with the AFC being so stacked even a potential Wild Card game will be against a stud qb. The good news is because those qb's are nowhere to be found in our division we should have an excellent chance at securing the 1 seed and avoiding that scenario.
  10. You really think Dawkins could be a cap casualty? He's an above average player still in his 20's at one of the most important positions in the game. And he's signed for 3 more years at a reasonable salary.
  11. Yeah he had a couple of big catches against us from Jameis in his rookie year. Week 6 2017
  12. I concur with this but maybe getting consistent playing time will help guys like Epenesa develop. At least, that's what I'm holding on to if we fail to bring in a proven vet. Sometimes young players need to be allowed to make mistakes and be given ample opportunity. I feel like this should have happened last year instead of rolling with Addison. If you don't have a top flight stud, play your young guys. AJ in particular should be further ahead of where he is now. What's the point of making someone your top pick if he is inactive almost his entire rookie season?
  13. No, but I hear we are deep in negotiations with Jeremy Maclin. Stay tuned...
  14. Don't take it from me, take it from Panthers fans. I don't root for them but I live in Charlotte, and by and large the fan base here has lost hope in his ability to stay healthy. And with good reason. The dude is like Marquise Goodwin now - you breathe on him and he gets injured
  15. He was never a workhorse player at Stanford and was not projected to be in the pros, but the Panthers gave him almost 1000 touches his first 3 years. Now he's played a total of 10 games the last 2 years. I would stay far away from him, even if his contract wasn't so egregious.
  16. He's useless at this point. The man cannot stay on the field because Carolina broke him down. I agree with those who thought we should have made an attempt at Barkley. While he is also injury prone, he doesn't have a huge contract and there's a lot of tread on the tires still. I would've considered offering a 4th, possibly a 3rd.
  17. Not sure I like this much. Down here in Charlotte Mike Shula was public enemy #1 for his predictable game planning and play calling. The Brady hire was fine, but this one seems a bit baffling. I was kind of hoping they would just give the keys to Dorsey and let him drive without the extra "support".
  18. The Bills offense needs more explosiveness. Landry might be an effective security blanket, but Allen already possesses options like that in Diggs, Knox, etc. We really need someone who can blow the top off of defenses instead of a marginal veteran with little gamebreaking ability. Williams or Chris Olave at 25 is our best option imo
  19. And yet in his career he has averaged over 12 yards per catch only once. In fact, Landry set the NFL record in 2017 for lowest yards per reception for a receiver with 100 catches (8.8). If his YAC is still considered acceptable, he must be running an awful lot of 2 yard routes. He has minimal speed and I have literally never seen this guy make a big play downfield. Is this what we really need instead of investing in a youngster like Jameson Williams in the draft?
  20. Besides being a POS Landry is the antithesis of a playmaker. He's like Curtis Duncan on the run and shoot Oilers of the 90's. Hard pass from me - we can do much better in the draft
  21. I wonder what the Bills value on Harry was? You would think he might have given a slight hometown discount if Buffalo was anywhere in the neighborhood
  22. Agree. I like Harry and hoped we resigned him, but not at that money and term. The Settle signing was a definite harbinger
