Do you honestly think if he played the way he's playing now that we would have released him? I'd be willing to bet of he was even a consistent 8 or 9 sack a year guy, we would have kept him to complement Von. We chose not to resign him and got Von because he did nothing for years. Von Miller is on pace to get more sacks in one season with us than Jerry got his last 3 seasons

Those were almost 10 years ago and Mario Williams was with us both of those years. After Mario left, he struggles getting 5 sacks a season most times

I think asking why he's better this year than he has been in at least the last 5 or 6 years with us is a valid question. Sorry, I don't have a hard on for him like you and the other guy do

Did I say I wasn't happy for him? I'm saying he did next to nothing for us. His "pass rush win rate" rarely got to the QB more than 5 times a season in a Bills uniform and he has more than half the sacks through 9 games this year with the Texans than he got in his last 49 games in a Bills uniform

He got pressure but only got to the QB 11 times the last 3 seasons. He has more than half that in half a season this year

I said the last 2 weeks. He did things in both the Patriots and especially the Cowboys game that were impressive. I was shocked in that Cowboys game with some of the throws he made. I didn't say he was good. I said he has shown signs of possible improvement the last 2 weeks

I'll be honest, Fields has looked better the last 2 weeks. I watched that Bears vs Cowboys game and was actually impressed with a lot of what he did

So, this week for Jets week, I am going with Bills at Jets on a Monday night in 1990. We lit the Jets up pretty good in this game 30-7. The Jets went down the field early but didn't do much from that point as we dominated from there. I have posted the condensed 20 min version of this game.
