    Not sure how many here have own, run, managed businesses but this is the exact same.  Trying to build a winner in one year is almost impossible in the situation McD was put in.  You make moves for the future, moves for now, and moves for transition.  Its a huge juggling act and sometimes things dont work out, but you do have a goal...or process.

     

    I wanted to see NP have a great game, just because TT was so cautious and boring to watch.  I dont think there was any downside to the trial, if NP is awesome he starts again, if he stinks TT comes in for relief and see what motiviation he has. In my book TT came back and started throwing the ball like he should have all season.  Maybe sitting for a bit set the tone. 

     

    Its not over yet, though I think our chances are almost nothing to get to the post season, and then we have zero chance of winning that game IMO if our D is non existant and we revert to pop warner offense again.  

     

    The point is rebuilds take time, and I think McD is the guy, though the OC needs to go.

    TT always seemed to play not to lose which is shown in his stats.  I also think he was trying to keep those stats for his contract next year assuming he wasn't a Bill all along. 

     

    Look at the talking heads rave about the stats and how high he ranks in areas seems to put his play into perspective.  Good conservative numbers and high percentages is an easier sell by his agent and another losing season can be blamed elsewhere.  

     

    I just don't think he planned on being here long term so build the resume anyway you can.

    So far we have not paid Gilmore, not paid Gillislee, not paid Woods, traded Watkins before we had to pay him, traded Dareus, tried to trade Glenn, only brough Tyrod back at half price...I did think. Look at what has taken place. I dont care what type of money pegula has. Its a salary cap league and hes not making the roster decisions. These guys are going to fill a team with value c minus players and never overlay for guys. A lot of people like that. I just think the money ball movement is overblown and the teams with the good players usually win

    And I can respect that. IMO, the player we knew to be Dareus a few years ago is long gone. Oh, Im sure hell come out and dominate his first series or two in Jax, but character always reverts to form. And Marrone is not a good match for Dareus, either, IMO. Dareus played for Schwartz, not Marrone. Most of the players didnt like Marrone even a little bit.

    Been a fan for as long as I can remember and this season shows the change! I know alot of people are nervous but this is all good.

     

    We needed to move on from the past era. Hate to see talent leave if they wanted to stay but D didn't want to be here or maybe even play. Free up the cash for talent that want to play.

     

    Lots of football left and this team is showing heart. I'm excited for the first time in a long time.
