Honestly don't see the comparison at all. And I think its easy to confuse character issues with confidence-which obviously Rosen has. Eli comes across as just goofy but confident, no.

Wow, did Sammy Watkins pull you from the edge?

This guy gets it from all angles. Loves the fans, the team, coaching, and Buffalo. Found a new home and plays like he wants it every down.
My gut is that he wants opotions end of year so didn't want to extend.

I absolutely hope not! Cam has talent but in my opionion is way overrated. Also his continual hype train gets old real fast.

So far so good - not a fan of the Ivory deal but everything else is making me smile.
ABSOLUTLEY its real. Offseason we are making smart moves that put is in contention for a real playoff run-not just a sneak by with help. With the draft and our projected QB-whomever that is-we are a real team again. This is how you make anything work long term!
Go BIlls-I am pumped for sure!

Is this called winning the offseason...

I highly doubt this is a first offense. Maybe the first one he was caught at but not his first. What a fool he should be happy nobody died. Hope those injured recover fully and then recover from his bank acct.
No excuse for this behaviour when taxis uber and limos abound.

Passion and grit! Exactly what was lacking in those "superstars" that were cut.
Team and town above all else.
Great spirit Shady

The fix is in. Refs must have seen the checks cleared

The easiest way to analyze him is like this:
Will he at least have a Quick Slant route called once per game? Answer: pretty sure he will
Will he at least call a screen pass of some sort even just once per game? Answer: pretty sure he will
Looks to me based on those answers, he's already an upgrade over Dennison...
But can he call a pass on 1st and goal from the 1 1/2?

TRUST THE PROCESS. The Bills aggressively pursued this guy as our OC. The Bills Management knows more about the situation and what they need than anyone here. Even Major Bobby !!! He was mentioned last year as the possible OC. Every year the Pats have won the Super Bowl Daboll has been on Staff. Well that’s the end of that Bill B !!!!
Good God yes. Let's see where this thing goes! We have 20% of the Intel and try to make 100% of it.
Trust the process!!

Welcome! Great info on this board and some great posters.
Agree 100% this can be something terrific going forward. Sure the brain trust at OBD will make the right calls.
Go Bills!

I've got my entire team at work rooting for the Bills this weekend - and I'm just north of Boston. They want to see a Bills Pats playoff game. This is becoming real fun!!
Go Bills!!!

Absolutely an incredible amount of positive change! It feels good to be a legit franchise again-and not just because we are in.

Great comments as usual Virgil. I always look to your review, and your spot on. This team has something special, and you can really see the difference some great coaching makes.
Its a great day today to be a Bills fan, and even my NE buddies are rooting for a Bills win next week-because it will be the best game all season to watch if they face each other again. I would be completely pumped for a rematch of last week where maybe the Refs wont determine the game!
Go BIlls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is. The Bills have the 32nd ranked passing offense in the league.
Taylor is statistically the worst starting QB in football when it comes to throwing the football.
An offense specifically suited to Taylor is the exact opposite of what is successful in the modern NFL. Professional defenses are too fast, too strong.
So, you could design an offense around his strengths -- lots of read option, designed QB runs, and even fewer passing attempts. You would also lose every game by three touchdowns.
You could probably make a run at the Section VI AA title, though.
Agreed he cannot read what is given to him. He stared down receivers and holds the ball forever. Even started to run late it seems. Just don't think he can process information fast enough.
This along with some horrid play calling spells trouble. I understood the first decision to go for it on 4-2. Didn't agree but understood. I didn't understand the 4-1 FG try instead of going for it.

Watching him at NE live it's apparent he is average at best. He missed so many options on reads leaving guys wise open. Underthrew basic passes and took unnecessary sacks. Lacks vision and football IQ
If we had a step up QB we could have won this game-although the refs were against us too making it hard to beat two teams at once.
He's incredibly frustrating

The wife and I will be there. No tailgate for us this time, though. We won Putnam club access, on field passes, and the opportunity to hang with Andre Reed in a fundraiser raffle the Boston Bills Backers put on for Andre's Boys & Girls Club Read with Reed 83 reading program.
That's fantastic. Enjoy and a great program you donated to. Go Bills

Boston Bills Backers tailgate is in the parking lot of Route One Wine & Spirits, about a half mile north of the Stadium.
I stopped going even though I live 90 minutes away. Too expensive for tickets, parking, and we always lose.
Thanks I might try to stop.

Yes they are but had a great time tailgating with bills fans I met a few years back
