Hi all...I'll be coming up for a game and staying over for a night. Is there anywhere I should be looking at specifically?

    TIA!

The Curtiss Downtown!  Great revolving bar on the 1st floor,  and a rooftop bar also.  Huge grotto and hot tub outside and the world class breakfast included.  Rooms are really cool and its overall funky.

If you need to be by the airport the Hilton Garden Inn Airport is a tad older but very clean with great staff.  I lived there for 9 months, so tell them Scott from Mass sent you-probably wont get you much but who knows!

Ha ha ha. Do you work for them? How do you know what they think? Trust me. They DON'T like the negative press they get from players and their owners. It hurts their bottom line.

Living here in New England, just north of Boston I hear lots of things from lots of people.  Most think AB is a jerk, but “if anyone can straighten him out it BB!  So give him a chance”. I think however that the Pats themselves only care about the next ring as the dynasty IS actually ending.  Too much going on with them.  In this instance I think BB knew of the issue and expected AB to go on the list.  He then gets off it when the case is settled out of court just in time for the playoff push.  Undamaged and physically ready.  If he cant settle it or wont settle it or charges are placed criminally, then it was only a million dollar gamble-no big loss.    Just my thoughts

A measly $75,000 lawsuit is a hard thing to argue is a "money grab" on a multi million dollar athlete being accused of rape and sexual assault multiple times.

you'd think other teams might pay attention to this?

especially in the Pats division the last 17, 18, 200 years?

But arent they ALWAYS innocent?  Shouldn’t we trust what AB is saying, he’s never lead anyone astray or misrepresented before.  I see this getting very ugly very fast, and very expensive.  Not saying it did happen, but reading the texts I seems like he did do some nasty things-not necessarily rape but other things.  His own arrogance will be used against him, but I see a payoff with no admission of guilt settling this. I hope however Goodell does what he did to AP and others.   Let the legal system work, but the player cant play until its settled civilly or criminally.

It will happen if the players benefit financially, the NFLPA gets more roster spots (dues paying union members), and the owners get more revenue ( increased tv contracts and stadium revenue from the two increased regular season games).  Unbridled greed will drive all of the parties to make the change.  The NFL is all about the money.

All about money?? The illusion of a pure sport is gone <shattering glass>

I don't understand the point of cutting him. Would I love to see him leave the division so he can't take shots at our franchise QB? Absolutely. But I don't understand why they would do it.

It saves them literally nothing against the cap.

Saves them actual cash though.  Poor movie star and financier  owners of the phins gotta pay the bills too ya know!

  6. Had the pleasure of having a chance dinner with one of the mothers of a correct Bill's player. She said he absolutely loves playing for McDermott.  Having a coach that is as passionate about the game as the players is critical.  Says he listens to the players and communicates really well but is absolutely in control.

She mentioned that her son after playing for other coaches would want nobody different.

Speaks volumes about his expectations and his desire for excellence.

I think we are lucky after years of mediocrity.

    Go Bills!

  7. I'd love to see the actuarial tables and risk tables on this decision.   Doesnt seem like he could possibly over earn the 14.5 mil he gave up.

The chances of getting hurt on the field to chances of getting hurt/losing a step by missing a year would be an interesting comparison.

Also teams will take his behaviour into account when looking at him.

My gut bad decision but I actually dont really care-not my cash!

I have to say that my biggest takeaway from Rosen was surprise over how weak his arm looked.  On many of his throws he also lacked an arc to the ball.  A lot of balls were getting batted down.

Agreed. Didnt appear to have any leadership qualities when things were going bad snd progressively got worse.  Even his "I was being soft" interview was horrid. Seems so in genuine and as he put it-soft.

I am not sure why this eludes so many folks here but the Dareus trade was just McDermott trying to grab more power that he hadn't earned.

He got carried away.........hence my point about needing editing.

Dareus not being as committed to McD's process made McD feel threatened.......which is why he dumped him even when Dareus was a key cog for him.

And if you disagree with that go back and see some of the Cover 1 stuff on Dareus......he wasn't rushing the passer anymore but his work stacking and shedding blows away Star on his best day.

The problem with dumping good players to grab power is that it's short sighted...........because losing also undermines a HC's power.

McD made a choice and he's been losing ever since.

Not saying Dareus was the only reason but it was the last straw for that roster.

And yeah.......6-10 is pretty standard for a Bills HC but the stats behind that 6-10 look a lot more like those of a much worse team.

I hope McD figures it out.........I think he started his backpedal this past offseason and taking dumb chances on guys like Corey Coleman has proven the McBeane folly.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous posts I've read in a while. No substance and 101 psychology.    Go back to community college and retake the class please. Ughh total garbage

Remember you can't have good pie without good culture.  Yeast cultures in the case of pie, but essential nonetheless.

So yeast is more important than the quality of the ingredients?  Or is it the combination of the ingredients with good rising yeast?

Although yeast refers more to cakes so maybe I dont know what I'm talking about ?
