No doubt, Woods was greater than Watkins from a what have you done for me lately sense. He is great #2 to push a #1.
Watkins just couldn’t get healthy, was a shame.
As pathetic as it sounds that Benjamin drop on the goal like felt as bad as Stevie Johnson dropping the pass in the end zone in Pittsburgh years ago. Josh could have used that confidence in him.
Yes really, players can get get traded, people can start to working their ass off to improve. I think someone in our receiving core can improve themselves and the trade deadline isn’t here yet.
so to be on topic how do you see them 1 - 5?
Why be complicent, we need to improve and if we aren’t we are falling behind. Allen had a good game, same with the defense and special teams, time to look at our deficiencies and one of them is our receivers.
After this game we need at least two solid guys next year with our draft picks and free agency, I see it like this so far:
1. Andre Holmes (lol, yeah seriously)
2. Zay Jones (by default)
3/4. Kelvin Benjamin / Ray Ray McCloud
5. Robert Foster
Sumbitch that’s depressing.
No doubt, we will be lucky into get a double cheeseburger and a kick in the nuts for McCarron
Yeah I just want the decision made, whichever QB it is, it wont change our record by playing mind games
The oline is **** for sure, nowadays the career enders are usually achilles and spinal injuries, achilles are usually non contact and spinals are rare.
I dont want him hurt in the end but he needs the practice.
I get the reasoning, but you also could get him live fire experience without risking a real game loss and if he is the #2 he would have time to heal from an injury if that happened.
I am not an nfl coach so maybe the decision makes sense to someone on that level. It will be interesting to see his response to the reporters because this will most likely come up post game.
Exactly, if it was Peterman then Allen would be in the game, McD might be trying to be sneaky but this sucks if he is just sacrificing Allen's reps for a one game advantage.
I am not saying Allen can be successful with our current team but he could use the experience.
