  1. I keep waiting to have a good ref crew for a game but I guess there just… aren’t any anymore?
  2. Rasul Douglas might be my new favorite bill.
  3. Holy crap Rasul played that perfectly
  4. That was an awesome play call, you love to see it!
  5. Hard to create a whole new offense in 6 days. Against this D, I think we can say Joe Brady’s done ok so far all considering the circumstances.
  6. The Jets D is legit, I don’t hate the score. The situational decision making, discipline and fundamentals continue to be hot trash tho. Tough to see us playing a good team like this and winning.
  7. Gotta keep the turnover streak alive
  8. Wow 3 rushers just knived into our backfield past 5 blockers lol
  9. Lol Defense finally looking decent again and guys start dropping like flies again.
  10. Bills love to help a team break an embarrassing streak…
  11. Von is a 30 million dollar liability…
  12. Picking up Douglas was such a coup.
  13. The only person who disagreed with that got fired this week.
  14. Lol Gardner confused about being called for bear hugging the receiver for 3 seconds
  15. I dunno I think he’s got another four snaps in him. 😏
  16. I like the field goal there. We need to win this game, no matter how boring it looks while doing it.
  17. Oh yeah I think the offense still deserves all the criticism in the world for its lack of production. I think what I was trying to convey is that if our defense was playing LIGHTS OUT, I'd be 99% for keeping McD and trying to bring in a proven, experienced OC next year. I mean, why roll the dice on both sides of the ball if you don't have to, right? But if McD's side of the ball is struggling AND he has no answers to fix the offense too? Then it becomes a lot harder for him to justify keeping his job. Cuz what is he truly bringing to the table? Culture? I mean his situational playcalling and challenge record speak for themselves, lol.
  18. It doesn't help that his side of the ball seems to let us down time and again in big moments. If they were routinely stifling poor QB's and closing out games, I do think McD's seat temp would be a bit cooler, among both the fanbase and media. Contrast his situation to Saleh's, who's team has similarly invested high in the defense but who is winning games with a vastly inferior QB. Of course, if the Jets lose Q, Sauce and CJ Moseley in weeks 3-4...
  19. I do think we need to run this offense through Kincaid and Diggs, the way the KC offense ran through Tyreek and Kelce for all those years. Don't make defenses game plan to stop just one of them. Make defenses game plan to stop BOTH OF THEM. If one gets shut down, feed the other. If they adjust to stopping that guy, go back. If neither is working, the run game is probably wide open. THEN YOU FEED COOK. We should have a mindset of attacking defenses wherever they're weakest, and then feature that player UNTIL THEY STOP IT.
  20. We can't actually be swept by Zach Wilson this season can we? I mean... we can't possibly get swept by a team led by this guy... Can we? 🥺🥺
  21. So... the Process is a pyramid scheme now?
  22. Yeah. I mean on the one hand I feel like McD is at least something of a player's coach - he has historically opted not to practice in the elements ahead of a game with inclement weather, he practices almost extreme caution when it comes to guys coming back from injury, and then obviously the Damar situation from last year kind of speaks for itself. I don't think he's quite as despised as people on here assume. But on the other hand, I think he's a bit "stifling" for sure. Look at the Diggs situation, for example. He wants guys to keep their trap shut to the media, keep EVERYTHING in house. Does that stop the drama from becoming a circus, or just make it worse? I don't know. But some of these guys, Allen and Diggs included, seem like they're ready to burst a gasket, lol. You can preach the team first process. You can take a my-way-or-the-highway attitude. Belichick and the Pats did it for years and players put up with it -- but that's cause they were always competing for a championship. And many times, they won. That buys a lot more tolerance from players. If the "process" doesn't pan out, that angst will definitely turn to resentment. That might be where we're at now...
  23. Yeah there's a lot of ways to look at those points you made. Obviously Philly thought Reid would never get them over the hump - in a sense, they were right. But also, Reid's won two championships since then and has over the course of his career got considerable production from QB's like McNabb and also Alex Smith. Guys who are probably mid or high-level journeymen in any other offensive scheme. The big problem with McDermott is it's hard to justify his value, especially in the context of having an elite QB. He's a solid defensive coordinator, and in some ways he and Frazier innovated the modern "big nickel" defense that's all the rage right now. But his situational decision-making, the level of preparedness we see on a week to week basis? It's not great. As a guy who can't coordinate the offensive side of the ball, he has to prove he's among the Harbaugh's and Belichick's of the world when it comes to getting this team's overall execution at a high level. If he can't do that, what's the difference between him and the next hot up-and-coming OC? That's where we're at, at this point.
