Bills still making Bad Contract decisions
simool replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow is the exact phrase I used after reading 9 pages of you whining and moaning about something you don't even have all of the facts on. Wow. -
I am interested to know what my fellow Bills fans think of a case like this? For me personally, it chaps my ass. First, where does the Constitution indicate an illegal alien has any rights at all? Second, just forget about the first problem because if interpreted correctly, there would be no second. Why does the illegal alien need to be released to say good-bye? I am so frigging sick of reading stories like this, this Judge lacks even a basic understanding of the constitution. Her delusional interpretation of it is an embarrassment. Before anyone starts flaming, you cannot classify me as left or right. I kind of hit both sides depending on topic. I definitely did not vote for that Chatty Cathy doll in the White House, and I would have sooner taken a bullet than vote for Hillary. I strongly believe our founding fathers were geniuses. I also believe having a large centralized federal government goes against everything the Founding Fathers intended. In fact, it is the primary reason for the polarity we have now.

Yes I think it was smart. You are talking about a player that escaped a 4 year high school career and 4 year college career with no injuries. His first leg break in 09 was no fault of his or him being injury prone, the Jags DT ran into him and Wood suffered a compound fracture to his leg (tibia and fibula). Not an easy injury to come back from, but he did. His second leg break in 16 was again a defender falling into his leg was the culprit... This one looked absolutely brutal. Not only does he come back from it, he ends up playing every snap. Then he fails his post season physical with a degenerative neck issue which undoubtedly was caused by his profession. So we have established he is not injury prone, none of his previous injuries were reoccuring, and by all accounts the man was a leader on and off the field and had the respect of every single player in the locker room. Your take is hog crap. You resign that guy everytime, its very simple. Especially because the whole point was to gain some flexibility cap wise. -

Only surpassed by a Taylor, Peterman, Lee depth chart. -

I appreciate him like I appreciate a anti-fungal resistant case of jock itch. -

Half the teams in the league would have lopped off a left testicle for Eric Wood. -

As someone with two fully collapsed lumbar discs, I can unequivocally say that yes... These things do get missed. When I found out about my situation the damage was already done. The osteoarthritis emerging at the edge of each vertebrae and the pain it was causing is ultimately what enabled it to be found. Instantly changed my life and the decisions I make everyday. -
I want to know why everyone posting in this thread is not working for an NFL team, especially the OP. Stunning to say the least. You all are frigging NFL genuises I tell you. Brilliant!

He is aggressive. I like that. He is not throwing and abnormally high amount of Int's (31 over a 4 year career). In fact if anyone feels the problem with White is that he needs to take better care of the ball (which is hog excrement), then so does Baker Mayfield, (30 over a 4 year career), Darnold (22 over a 3 year career), and Rosen (26 over a 3 year career.) Give Darnold and Rosen a 4th year like Mayfield and White have and it would be neck and neck amongst the four. Look I have lived through Jim Kelly and Brett Favre so putting it in perspective, I dont mind the risks he takes.

Kansas City is going to be firing Andy Reid right about the same time Cleveland starts to turn the corner. Chiefs fans seem to be oblivious to what they lost in Dorsey. Like you mentioned their draft capital is staggering, then Dorsey snagging Highsmith and Wolf from the Pack--I expect big things. I would love to see a Bills Browns title game.

I am fairly certain that most Cleveland Browns fans dislike Mary Kay. Ironic because I believe she has a HOF vote. https://scout.com/nfl/browns/Board/103317/Contents/Why-the-dismay-for-Mary-Kay-54508915

Buffalo Bills 2018 draft picks and value
simool replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This x1000, especially if they hit on another late second round pick like Dawkins. -
I have watched a bunch of his games and I don't see those problems with him. Be more careful with the football? The kid hardly throws interceptions and has never fumbled. I am not saying he does not have issues, I just don't see those that you pointed out. At the point PFF is calling him a Day 2 pick before the senior bowl and some of those stats they list... I don't know man, looks pretty solid to me.
-
He really did himself a solid at the Senior Bowl. In the interviews I have seen and heard from it, he is very well spoken, mature, intelligent, seems like a solid kid and a perfect fit for the character this front office has shown they are looking for. Then he basically mic dropped his playing time.
-
Well, we are even then because I think you are way off base. Opinions on QB's are all over the place right now, time will tell. Mayock seems pretty enamored with him
-
Well, that's clearly not going to happen. He will go in the second to someone. Based off what I expect to be available at 21 and 22, and the high likelihood that Beane won't trade up. I don't see a better option.
-
I would, White has a stronger arm. Thankfully, I don't have to make that kind of decision. I merely need to decide on what kind of pizza I am having for dinner.
-
Today's showing by Mike White reinforced what I have posted previously: Barring some unforeseen happenings in the first round with QB's, White should be our pick. If they believe he will be gone at 53, trade back with one of our 1's, grab him in the early 2nd round, and gain a pick in the process.
