  1. Welcome to all lurking Yinzers this week. I'm curious, Bills fans, what is a Yinzer? (Wrong answers only). Please keep it clean. Let's have some fun at our visitors expense!
  2. Can we do an international game in Amsterdam. I would just love to see the fall out of sending 20,000ish Bills fans there for a week.
  3. This is just my opinion. But any team that's bringing Belichick in at his age and with decisions he's made at HC the last few years is bringing him in as a gimmick. A PR move for when/if he finally passes Shula. Something to sell hope in a fanbase. But they're fooling themselves if they think he's reshaping their operation and getting them to the promised land. Right now people are so focused on what a bad GM is that his coaching decisions and weekly management of a football team are being gravely overlooked.
  4. Maybe they can bring back Matt Patricia and he and Joe Judge can split the job.🤷🏼‍♂️
  5. Bye and large I see your point and agree... however to the bolded: Cook has been phenomenal. However it remains to be seen if his body can withstand the kind of workload it saw this year, year in and year out. My guess is we bring in another back to give him somewhat of a decrease in snaps throughout the season to save some wear and tear. Gabe Davis: A bit too soon to spike the football on this. It still wouldn't shock me it he gets signed after the season. They love him. Not firing McD has NOTHING to do with Beane. That is a Pegula call. The way the chain of command is is that Sean and Brandon are on equal footing. They both report to Pegula. Neither is they others boss. But again, agree with the tome and general point here.
  6. I swear they just keep AJ locked in a broom closet. Let him out when we need an extra linebacker here and there. Maybe he does some team laundry in the meantime to earn a meal.
  7. I think this is going to be a sloppy low scoring slog fest. Or, the Bills win by 3 TDs. I'll go with the slog fest: Bills-19 Steelers -13
  8. Buy: Baylon Spector. Weather and opponent mixed with Dodson being less than 100% could give Spector a chance to play a lot of reps. Shut down the rush attack and let them try and win in adverse conditions with Mason Rudolph throwing the ball. Sell: Harty. A ST PoW winner this week, should be slowed a bit by the frozen fields. Hold: James Cook. I don't think this is his week. Between ball security issues and the field he could be an afterthought in this one.
  9. If the weather is anything like its predicted to be, there's a good chance the zebras keep the flags in their pockets for the most part and try and make the game move as fast as possible.
  10. I would absolutely love to see him follow the Sean Payton route and take a year off to be on one of the NFL Sunday morning shows. Would be unintentional comedy gold.
  11. Hopefully he stays on as GM.
  12. This is the rare occasion that I LOVE LAMP (posts). Congratulations and hopefully all are healthy and happy. Enjoy your new one. They grow fast and the time shoots by.
  13. That moron just posted this. Welp...AFCE TITLE DENIED.
  14. Saleh should get an iron clad multi decade extension. Woody Johnson should probably give him a part of team ownership to really lock it in.
  15. Well, in the long run beating Jacksonville didn't do much for us. Perhaps we can send him a lovely Edible Arraignments for the Miami game.
  16. I'm pretty sure this is normal. Typically after the season Rodgers takes a break from there to sit in a dark room or travel in a capsule from this world to a world of robot mudhens or to the beaches of Saturn to listen to some aqua mammals procreate or whatever the heck it is he does. Then he's back in a bit to TOTALLY not be a distraction and bring and BS to the Jets locker room.
  17. If it wasn't for Antonio Pierce, who I believe earned the Raider job I would like Vrabel in Las Vegas to make the Chiefs have to work a bit harder.
  18. Dan Quinn immediately jumps to mind. But the timing on this...wonder if they will make a hard run at Vrabel.
  19. I'd say he has an outside shot at one job. Carolina. Much the way we saw teams pass on the Cleveland job years back that led to Mike Pettine as a HC, enough people could not want to hitch their wagon to the Tepper cart to make it happen.
  20. But it is. Teams are savvy these days. There's the bare minimum written Rooney Rule and then the unwritten stuff teams have to do the makes it appear they weren't just interviewing for the quota. They almost have to "over interview" minority candidates so it doesn't look like the ones they interview are simply Rooney Rulers. Also, it helps narrow down a minority candidate to give a 2nd interview to. Can't have all Caucasian finalists for the job or it wasn't a "real search". That's why as soon as requests for interviews start happening you see a TON of minority coaches requested. Interesting enough, ESPN recently had a segment on this and there were 2 notable people speaking about it happening. One of those people? Leslie Frazier.
  21. I'm not sure if the Bills would get anything. Depends on if Frazier is still under contract I think. In any event, I don't see Frazier getting this. Wayyyyy to early in the hiring cycle to think he's got a real shot. Likely this is a Rooney Rule interview or they are going to gage him and see if they hire someone else of he'd be open to a possible DC spot.
  22. Just watched the whole thing. That was CINEMA. What stands out to me is just how much the Buffalo Bills are in the heads of the Miami Dolphins at this point. They almost seemed to know what was coming. Also, I found it odd that the day after Tyreek's fire no one had really got in contact with him. Yeah, Tua said he tried calling and sent a text...but I have to feel like I'd that was one of our guys the team would have actually showed up in person to see if they could help. This team is just that close.
  23. Pittsburgh bis also a "cold weather team". Their primary RB is a huge tank of a dude. Ours has noted problems hanging onto the ball in good weather. That's an advantage right there. Winds, snow, sleet and rain have a tendency to level a playing field a bit. There will be mistakes from both teams. It could and often does help a less talented team stick around in the game.
