An interesting strategy would be to trade down and load up on talent this year. They can build quite a nucleus with all of their picks. If they give up 6 picks to move to 2 for a QB and they chose wrong, the franchise is hosed. I would be pleased if there is a guy they really like that will be available in the late first or early 2nd rd. This draft will define the team for many years to come.

I vote for trading our 1st round pick (9th overall) and our 4th round pick (101st overall) to the Jaguars for Rob Johnson. The Bills made this trade and gave Johnson a $25M contract based on one good start as a 3 yr career backup. With the 9th pick, the Jaguars drafted Fred Taylor.

If the QB’s available at 12 are reaches, then trade up or take a non-QB. Too many needs to trade away so many picks to move down when there are no slam dunk QB’s in the class.
