  1. Borderline idiotic debate over meaningless points in a Bills blowout but because of this TRAVESTY and INJUSTICE we Are going to over-engineer and make it fool proof...just like what a "catch" is now in the NFL. Lets get a list of ALL the contested games that a situation like this was at debate and material to the score. It will be a very very short list.
  2. Brady has had three pick sizes in his past 3 NFL games, talking Matt Schaub type trend.
  3. LOL. I agree, get a grip. you cant tell from the camera angles which is exactly WHY the refs are positioned where they are, the refs have the best view of anyone.....except for of course disgruntled Bill fans for meaningless points in a game the blew out their opponent.
  4. What? Are FGs now having to go the the square? No, also because it would make the bars very heavy and likely unstable.
  5. Which team was so play action heavy in that era. was it the Pats? Did they have off the bell curve positive results, yes. Take them and re-run the data.
  6. I already read your comment from Football Outsiders, would love to read their data set. If that was true every team would be play action all the time, it isn't as if teams dont use analytics. It is like fans that say all we have to do is run, run run and we win 97% of the time when we run for over 180 yards. The purpose of the play action is to sell the run, you wont get defenders to go for your run play fake if you cant run.
  7. Either a mobile QB or a good run game. The Pats used play action a lot with a relatively immobile Brady but the Pats could run and Brady could fake hand-offs and sell the run game
  8. Play action really works when you have an adequate run game and yes the Jets tried to shut down our run game but we are going to have to run much better in the future to sell the play action.
  9. Fantastic. Father very proud his son is on the Bills, and in the spirit of the Bills fans, tremendous. Now we sit and wait for the inevitable lectures of the horrors of table breaking and the term "mafia".
  10. The Packers need a quality defense which they sure didnt disaply on Sunday.
  11. Yeah the Beasley throw had a high potential for a TD had it been on target.
  12. that was creatively humorous...but one NEVER knows here with some of the absurd things i have read.
  13. Ridiculous. So i guess you dont watch any old movies or old recordings, get rid of any home movies that are old, after all you sure wouldn't want to listen to Ghosts, oh how scary!!!
  14. He cant fumble (badly) twice and miss wide open uncovered receivers in the end zone against elite teams, he can get away with that versus the Jets in the first game of the year but not versus quality teams, imho. And I would give Allen an A- on his play yesterday, overall he played extremely well. I am a big Josh Allen fan but he has to get the fumbles under control...it wasnt as if they were forced fumbles made by great defensive play, he literally dropped the ball twice.
  15. I think the fake noise is non-sense...like a bad laughtrack from a 70s comedy sitcom. I would much rather hear the reactions of the players/staff when a play is made. I love it when i hear the pads hit and the unscripted comments you can pick up, i also love to hear the QB and the defense call plays per snap. A few hits i was able to hear when they turned down the noise really helped emphasize the action on the game.
  16. Yeah all except the media blowhards, i would love to hear Mike Greenberg this morning whine and and on about the jets...and that bucktooh Francesca as well.
  17. Especially correct on your last point.
  18. You can't give him an A with 2 fumbles
  19. This entire thread is full of totally opposite opinions but most posters are so confident and definitive that they have the correct opinion. In other words, totally worthless.
  20. try again, when it comes up with the 'error message" where is says Video unavaiable got down from there where is says to watch on Youtube, click on that that should allow you to watch it
  21. Thanks, great tradition and video. Maybe this year we can go to the Super Bowl so we dont have to keep watching 24 ? year old videos, get one for this year.
  22. Rex, imo, was way below average by the time he go to the Bills. He either got fat and lazy and/or was checked out long before he got to WNY. Rex could never adapt to the modern NFL, he never advanced his formerly winning Defense and he could NOT adabpt the defense to the current players the Bills had. The classic was when Rex, after being a NFL head coach in the NFL for 7 years blurted out (tried to use it as an excuse that backfired at least to me) he didnt know how the NFL replay system worked. That was after that embarrassing fiasco of his missed replays he should have reviewed and the poor replays he choose to review which he didnt get down. That was the KC game if that Rex knew about proper clock management and how to review plays the Bills could have easily won. After that game I found his bombastic ego driven press conferences no longer humorous simply irritating. And then to seal his WNY football legacy, Rex coerced the Pegulas into hiring the busted fat slob of a failure brother that got fired from coaching the worst defense in the NFL to come join the Bills as a third "defensive guru (Rex, our then DC and his fat slob brother).
  23. Those are all EXCELLENT points BUT you miss two critical factors: 1) Rex never made the playoffs, we made it 2 out of 3 with McD 2) Mcd/Beane came in with a long term plan, the "process", that was bound to have short term pain...they took a lot of grief from many fans when they jettisoned players they didnt feel like where part of the plan notably Marcel Dareus. This really hurt on the salary cap front but the Bills have now worked their way out of it. So what team was better positioned to succeed and go deep in the playoffs, the 2020 Bills or the Bills under Rex in the following year?
