    Anybody preparing for Frazier to be let go and our suck-butt DL coach be a DC again? Guy was terrible in Carolina when he was a DC.

    He stinks. People are so butt hurt their guy stinks so they do any possible mental gymnastics they can do to excuse his piss poor play. Edmunds sucks, just as much as our dline. And yet people treat them as mutually exclusive, when it isn't.

    Liked how they came out so far. Giving Josh the ball. Josh needs to work on getting balls not batted so much. Oline needs to hold up a tad longer.

    Ohhhh, getting a little chippy with the scoreboard reference. Putting the offense on notice a tad there maybe. They're certainly aware their results vs the offense's.

    Honestly, some of the posters on the game day threads, I believe, could call/manage a better game. Example: that challenge on the QB sneak spot, going for 2 point conversion. Missing that would have made it 14-6 which still would have needed a touchdown. Posters suggesting 5 down lineman on a night patriots only called 3 pass plays.

    No go look at the past few years we've had Milano, Hughes, etc, vs. Edmunds. Who has made more plays?

    Well then I sure hope McD and Beane do that! I'm tired of undersized lineman. It will help Edmunds out, which will boost him to be about average imo.

    The difference is that those players have a record of making plays. While Edmunds doesn't. We bag on him because there is a constant narrative, homerism, mental gymnastics (call it what you want) bias that he is this good linebacker. When he isn't.

    I've said it on here in the past that I think our biggest run woes is because we have small defensive lineman and, in my opinion, like big, heavy handed defensive lineman. Out of all the top linebackers in this league, Edmunds' perceived zone shrinking is not enough for him to be considered in the above average group of linebackers.

    Is Cover1 going to do more homer mental gymnastics break downs for this guy? List all top linebackers in this league, Edmunds doesn't sniff their jock straps. Our D would fare so much better with Devin White, Bush, Wagner, Logan Wilson, Cole Holcomb, Denzel Perryman, Blake Martinez, Roquan Smith, Dearious Leonard, my gosh this list makes me depressed....
