I’m sure his agent is banging his head against the wall after listening to this. IMO there is no positive takeaways for him doing this. It just reinforces his lack of leadership, the need to self reflect on how he improves and the need for greater maturity. I can’t imagine Josh ever coming across like this or a GM watching this and saying we need to go get Baker.

This is such a great point. I live in Atlanta and it’s such a great feeling seeing the elementary kids wearing Josh Allen jerseys because it’s cool or when I’m out wearing Bills gear how many non Bills fans say we are rooting for you to win the SB. Step back in time and the vast majority of the comments were how can you be a Bills fan.

I hope many are stepping back and realizing what an amazing time we are experiencing as Bill’s fans! *Franchise, electric, superstar QB *Stadium announcement securing the Bills in Buffalo for decades. *Free Agents destination *A respected front office *Super Bowl favorites *Expectations to win not just compete *A well rounded roster *One of the highest paid rosters in the NFL *Mega press coverage *Drafting later in the 1st round I could go on and on but for those of us who have been Bill’s fans forever I hope everyone is enjoying the ride we are on. The ONLY thing left on this list is hoisting the Lombardi Trophy! LETS GO BUFFALO!

CB is a huge concern right now. We’ll need a day 1 or 2 pick and a proven veteran. With the gauntlet of talented QBs we face this year, it must be addressed. We are also betting Tre has no setbacks and is on schedule. With the number of draft picks we have this year, package they to move up or make a trade for a proven vet. Regarding WR, I’m not as concerned as Josh will be a big attraction for FA’s. They know they will have the opportunity to put up numbers. Unless the talent is just too much to pass up in the draft. Pretty clear CB is our biggest need and it’s a pretty big divide for the second biggest need.
-
With what we have done in Free Agency and our cap limitations, we have a huge hole at CB right now. Tre isn’t predicted to be back until Oct/Nov. Not addressing CB within the first two rounds would be a huge concern. We need a starter to instantly perform as a rookie. To put all of our chips on Dane Jackson would be a mistake IMO. Running Back in the first round would be bad.

Could you imagine if they sign Robinson and Gronk. Then draft CB, DL and OL in the draft. Sweet baby Jesus!

Here’s a couple of moves that make sense to me.
TFBillsfan replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
After Davis’s combine, he will long gone before pick 25. -
If you are able to sign to two impactful players at DE and CB, they’ll find away to make the salary cap work!

Curious if it’s a trade for a Steelers player or draft picks.

2021 Bills ST coach Heath Farwell joins the Jags
TFBillsfan replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe I’m in the minority but the defensive scheme the last 13 seconds is much worse than kicking the ball into the end zone especially with calling two timeouts and still screwing it up. If the ST coach is let go then the same criteria should apply to the DC.- 135 replies

Bills 2021 rookie class ranked 27th in league
TFBillsfan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Slightly different twist but the Bills picks in the 2nd round since 2014 have struggled to make any impact which is concerning as typically there is still plenty of talent on the board. You have to get to 2013 before an impactful player. Hope Beane changes this trend this year. 2021: Basham 2020: AJE 2019: Ford 2018: No pick 2017: Zay Jones 2016: Reggie Ragland 2015: Ronald Darby 2014: Cyrus Kouandjio 2013: Robert Woods -
Bills ability to draft and develop D linemen
TFBillsfan replied to Comebackkid's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unfortunately, we need an impactful disruptor on the DL. We have good players but not a true difference maker. Someone the O has to account for. We seldom see anyone on the DL dominate against a inferior OL consistently. -
Has the NFL season ended for anyone else?
TFBillsfan replied to billsintaiwan's topic in The Stadium Wall
As soon as Kelce scored in OT, I immediately turned off the TV and haven’t watched anything related to the NFL. With how the Bills lost and knowing the Super Bowl was there for the taking with playing the AFCC in Buffalo it just hurts too much. I’ll re-engage once FA starts. -
For all of you enamored with speed - remember Marquise Goodwin
TFBillsfan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The current roster only has one player, McKenzie, that is ANY threat to outrun or take it to the house. While the WR group is strong YAC are low. Some of it could be due to the lack of crossing patterns the Bills ran this year. However, speed at RB and WR is lacking. Lastly, we finally have a QB that can throw the ball. We could “use” an infusion of speed on offense however, scoring hasn’t been our issue. We NEED a difference maker at DE, an impactful LB and another top CB. Offense needs a stronger IOL and a running back that is a better runner than our QB. IMO, I want Beane to be aggressive this offseason and get some difference makers. Make some deals, trade for some proven talent or FA’s and then supplement remaining lower needs in the draft. This is a huge offseason for the Bills if they want to hoist a SB trophy. Please don’t stand idle. -
The pain is still raw but I find myself reflecting back on the season and trying to look ahead. Josh Allen: What more can you say. The guy is just a flat out playmaker. Josh has done everything and then some from a franchise QB. Going into next season I hope this coaching staff takes some of the burden off of him as Josh has masked numerous shortcomings. The guy shouldn’t have to be perfect every game. Knox and Brown exceeded my expectations. Great to see Ed, Milano, Poyer and Hyde play at the level they did. Good or Average? My eyes tell me this team can play with ANYONE. However, when it mattered the most, this team fell short on every close game. (Pitt, Jags, TN, TB, NE and KC) Everyone of those losses had a common theme. FAILURE to adjust which lands squarely on the coaching staff. For all the the accolades the coaching staff has received, we beat one solid team (KC) early in the season. Sure we can debate NE, but I just don’t think they were that good. Otherwise we were 0-6 in one score games and the Bills had an easy schedule. So while our stats were good (D feasted against bad teams) our eyes told us this D was no where near the top ranked D. When it mattered the most time and time again, the D couldn’t deliver or Daboll struggled to adjust. The Bills are a really good team but they need playmakers on D. Outside of Trey, they are sorely lacking. There’s a reason none of the Bills players were recognized on D. Sure they are a solid unit but they lack a difference maker. Edmunds: The guy oozes with the physical skills, but time and time again fails to react or make an impactful play. I’m not sure what you do here but it’s an obvious question mark going into next season. Star, Hughes, Addison, Butler, Feliciano, Ford, Beasley are all major question marks on if they will be back. As we look ahead I expect this roster and coaching staff to dramatically change. I think Daboll is gone but I think Frazier has too many questions and last night hurt his stock on a number of fronts. Is Beane and McDermott satisfied with this D? Areas of need: DE, CB, OG, WR, RB, Backup QB Traits needed: Speed and Physicality Next year’s schedule should be stronger (TN, @ Rams, @KC, Cinncy, @Baltimore) GB included if AR returns. NE and Miami should be better. This is a huge offseason for Beane and McDermott. The narrative has changed, the playoffs are expected but can they get this team to the next level? Beane needs to be aggressive and make some difficult decisions. Late round draft picks aren’t making this roster so be aggressive in the draft and free agency. All things considered, it’s hard to give this coaching staff anything better than a C+ all things considered. I’ll remember this season as missed opportunities and failure to meet expectations. Sure winning the division and making the playoffs are good, but we all expected that at the minimum.

Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30
TFBillsfan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree Carpe Diem! I expected we beat the Patriots as we were the far superior team. The Bills have been in the playoffs 4 out of the past 5 years. The KC game should be a dogfight but IMO the Bills have to find a way to win or it will be another offseason of questions. If you want to be considered elite go beat KC! The Bills can beat anyone if they play to their potential. LETS GO BUFFALO! -
Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30
TFBillsfan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both of these teams are loaded and it’s most likely gonna come down to who executes the best. Bills have to account for the crowd noise as well. The front four has to create disruption. Not sure how anyone can confidently pick the winner of this game. KC vs Buff in the playoffs could be a yearly thing for the foreseeable future. With that said LETS GO BUFFALO! Just win baby! -
He knows what everyone else knows. Outside of a mini hurricane Buffalo has owned them now in two straight seasons. The prior luxury of the AFCE being in shambles outside of NE w Brady has changed. He now has to compete against an ALL PRO QB in the division. I respect him for everything he has accomplished but that press conference was sad. He basically said four things over and over.
