  1. It’s actually encouraging to see the Bills have more than 53 players who are competitive to make the roster. Shows our overall talent is improving!
  2. Hope they can improve the OL personnel when rosters are reduced! In its current state it is certainly a major area of concern.
  3. Thanks for putting this together! My two biggest areas of concern after two games is overall linebacker play and overall rush defense. Based upon observations thus far our LB group has to be in the bottom five of the NFL. Milano is having a bad 2nd season and Edmunds is still learning. Hoping we can upgrade when the rosters are reduced. Very impressed with Allen and Murphy. Not impressed with Ducasse and Milano.
  4. Depending on where we draft next year would love to see us add Noah Fant, TE, Iowa. But if a stud WR, is available then that takes greater priority.
  5. Ford had two false starts and missed picking up a block that resulted in a sack. Not a good night for him.
  6. IMO, it’s McCoy, Ivory and Murphy. Ivory has a 2 million guarantee so I doubt he would get cut. Jones, Cadet and Ford are going to have a hard time beating Murphy out!
  7. “We saw that inconsistency factor and low completion percentage. He only completed nine of 19 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown but we also saw his biggest strength. He showed off that cannon of an arm. The very first play he threw a 60-yard bomb down the sideline. Granted it was out of bounds but so impressive. That strength is a huge reason the Billsdrafted him 7th overall.” Obviously this guy didn’t watch the game. Four dropped balls that hit receivers in the hands. That would change his line to 13 of 19 for 68%. The kid made all the throws last night! Loved what I saw from Murphy last night. McCoy, Ivory and Murphy should be 1 thru 3. Cadet, Ford and Jones aren’t even in the same category as Murphy IMO. Kid looked legit last night!
  8. I don’t understand how any Bills fan didnt like what they saw in Josh Allen last night. I taped the replay of the game and watched it closely. Sure he missed a few throws but what QB doesn’t. I’m in no hurry to rush his development but I certainly expect to see him start at some point this year unless AJM or NP shock us all. I know it’s splicing hairs but those same throws to the 1’s would have most likely netted 17 points. The pass to Foster should have been caught and in regular season they would have kicked a FG instead OG going for it on 4th down. I counted at least 4 passes that should have been caught which would of changed his completion percentage. He was calm in the pocket, showed the ability to scramble and made plays. It’s refreshing to have a QB regardless of down and distance that can threaten a defense from anywhere on the field. All things considered I was very pleased with his debut and don’t understand how anyone couldn’t be.
  9. Not jockeying for him to start yet. But let’s at least give him some time with the two’s next game!
  10. Adding a player like Mack would be great, but realistically I’m not sure he would add more W’s to our win column to justify how much we’d have to give up. Our biggest weakness is our offense. We need to determine if we have a franchise QB in Allen first. We need a #1 WR, OL help and we will need a replacement for McCoy soon. Do we really want to give up draft capital and that much cap space to acquire Mack?
  11. Early indications point to AJM starting the season which I expected. I just hope he’s not a newer version of Trent Edwards. I have zero confidence in Peterman at this point. Hopefully JA continues improving and takes the reigns at some point in the season. With Murphy’s injury history, no way do I throw in the towel on Lawson. Still young and basically in year two due to injury. Was hoping Teller might push Vlad as he’s a weak link on the OL. This is an unique year as if this team exceeds expectations, they really have a great opportunity to add playmakers and depth to the roster next year. Something we haven’t been able to say or do for years!
  12. It’s been far too long to not have a home playoff game. I’ve certainly been able to save up for when it happens in the near future!
  13. Thanks for sharing. Those days were truly special times! Hard to grasp for some of the younger Bill’s fans how truly amazing what it was like to watch the Bills back then. The team and the fanbase expected to win each weekend and for some us older fans it’s the hope that in the near future we restore Buffalo football back to how it was and can be!
  14. Hypothetically, let’s play this out and the Bills finish with a top 5 pick. Allen plays in 2018 and shows good progress. IMO, our biggest needs next year based upon this are RB, OT, C, WR, TE, LB and CB. Narrowing that down our pick would be OT, WR, OLB or CB based upon draft value. We certainly need a stud WR! Need to be in position to groom Shady’s replacement but not w a top 5 pick. That should narrow our choices of prospects down significantly.
  15. Heck of a speech. I loved watching and cheering for Jim as the QB for the Bills and even have an autographed jersey of his. However, the impact, inspiration and courage that Jim has shown since retiring is truly amazing! Jim is a legend on and off the field of sports. Not many athletes can say that. Praying for continued healing.
  16. IMO, our offense may finish in the bottom five in the league. We just have too many unknowns. If I was the DC against the Bills, I’d stack the box and force McCarron to beat me. For the best interests of the Bills I don’t put Allen on the field the first half of the season unless he’s just lighting it up in practice and preseason. For the right deal, I’d also make McCoy available. Next year, you go all in on addressing the offense. You’ll have excellent cap space and draft capital to add playmakers and solidify the OL and add another LB and QB. I'm typically very optimistic but just too many unknowns on offense this year. Hope they prove me wrong though and guys step up.
  17. I’m all in on Allen. However as a fan, I think it’s important to set realistic expectations this year. The offense will be a major work in progress this year with significant question marks at OL and WR. If Shady is injured for any significant length of time this year, we could rank near the bottom of NFL offensive statistics. Personally, I’m in no rush to put Allen out on the field anytime soon this year unless he’s just lighting it up in camp and preseason. Let him learn, work on tightening his mechanics and watch plenty of film. Next year, you can address the OL, WR and RB depth with the draft and FA. If all goes well, you are setup for LONG TERM success in year three under McDermott and certainly a changing of the guard in the AFC East.
  18. For me there are five very distinct WTF moments: 1) Drafting Aaron Maybin 2) Hiring Dick Jauron 3) Drafting Willis McGahee 4) The defensive strategy during their last minute drive on MNF! 5) Totally missing on McCargo and JP Losman. Two 1st rounders that we’re total busts!
  19. Ask me in 2 years. Until then everything is just speculation and hope!
  20. Huge holes to still fill. OG, C, WR, MLB, CB and RB depth. Loved the draft capital we had going into tonight. Feel somewhat disappointed now. IMO, strong possibility we will be drafting top ten next year. Allen probably won’t play this year, so you still don’t know if he is your QB. In hindsight, I think we should of just taken Mahomes last year.
  21. James Daniel or Sony Michel. Shore up the middle of the OL for years or have a great combo of backs between Shady and Sony!
  22. Not opposed at all if the Bills can’t find the right trade to move up and land Allen at 12. The guy literally had junk receivers this year who dropped a ton of catchable balls. He had 2 interceptions in the first game against Iowa and 4 the rest of the season. Whoever we draft this year probably isn’t going to start. At this point, assuming Rosen and Allen are in our realistic sites to acquire in the draft without giving up a fortune. Rosen can use the year to add additional strength and Allen will have a year of additional learning.
  23. Really don’t want to give up next years #1 as we “could” be drafting in the top 10.
  24. No complaints if we draft James Daniel at 22. Should be an anchor on the OL for a long time. Just depends where LB ranks on their board.
  25. This is why I don’t want to trade our 2018 1st round pick. Even if we trade up for a Qb, I don’t see them starting this year. My gut says the Bills will be drafting in the top 10 next year.
