i think believing aliens came to earth to influence our development, is just as absurd as basing your life on books writen by men thousands of years ago. for me, beign a good person, and helping people when i can, and living by my morals is the best i can do. if thats not good enough, and if god (if there is a god) wants to throw me in to the pits of hell simply for failing to blindly follow the writings of some men the "religious leaders" think are important, than to hell ill go. dont forget that most people feel that their religion is the ONLY religion that will lead to "salvation". so 99% of the worlds population is going to hell.

i dont think they were called geologist back then. many scolars theorised the earth was round, but many people were unwilling to risk death to find out for sure. why does he know more? cus he has read more books? knows more dates and time periods and where jesus lived??

as i have stated befor in this thread, there HAS been things REMOVED and/or left out of the bible many read today...... some priest somewhere said, "that doest sound right", and riped out the pages... its true... i think thats part of a gospal that was left out....

i read that eve wasnt even adams first wife. god created adam and a woman (whoes name i dont remember). adam wanted her to do what he said. she said hell no, god made me in his image too, so your not better than me, and i dont have to listen to you and she left (parafrazing of course). so god made another wife from his rib called eve. (i cant remember her name though... )

well i would believe a biologist cus if i ask any bioligist a question they will all give me the same answer. but if you ask a religious leader a question, he may give you a completly diffrent respose than other religious leaders.

1) i read harry potter, but that doesnt make it reality. 2a) i agree its not about the priest, but i stand by my critisism of "confession" forgiving all sins. 2b) how can you say the bible has not been changed since it was first put together?

it deals with MAGIC. and magic is the work of witches and the devil. my mom tells me the same thing about harry potter. this is 1 reason why i went to college 5 hours away.... but to kids its just a movie. but to some freaks, its a way of life...

because it was edited and changed, things cut out and put in by a king who wanted a divorce from his wife. not exactly the greatest foundation for a religion. (people base their religion off the bible, and the bible they choose has a reflection on their beliefs).

when you say bible, can you be more specific? not to pick a fight or anything, but i dont see how someone can base their life off a book when most people can not agree what should be in the book to begin with. but on a serious note, im completly agenst the idea of "organized religon". ive grown up in a catholic family, and basicaly since im agenst it, i would like to read the bible (even thouh im not a big reader). but my problem is what book to read. some bibles include stuff, while others exclude it.. and so on. others translate words in to diffrent words and meanings. so one book translated in to 2 books by 2 seperate poeple could have 2 diffrent meanings. so any thaughts as to which book to get???? and please dont say "the king james bible"...

1) how do you know their is 1 god? anyone who says they KNOW for a fact does not know that, and does not know what FACT means. 2) i can not follow any religion that will allow a serial killer or child molester to sit in jail for 30 years, and just befor he is exicuted, repents his sins and has a confession with a priest and gets in to heaven, while a good man who tries to live his life with morals and helping people is sent to hell simply because he does not blindly believe in "god" as writen by man thousands of years after jesus's death and has been edited and changed so many times that we have no idea what the original writer was actually trying to say. 3) and also, just because someone believes in god and heaven and goes to church on sunday, doesnt mean they are the nice good christians most people think. I find it asinine that people blindy trust people simply because they sit behind them in church on sunday.

he might say the wrong thing now and then, but hes NOT a 1 year wonder. hes the 2nd best TE in the NFL. creates mismatches and problems for the D. hell he was injured for several weeks and still had more yards and cetches than 95% of the TEs in the NFL. it must suck to have a DOMINANT young player on their team... god, i feel bad for them..

i agree with everything.. except king of the hill, i dont really watch it.. stewie's face when brian accidentally said "face" was freakin funny. american dad was funnier than the super bowl episode. but still does not hold a candle to family guy....

i agree with you there. i dont see how a religion can be organized? am i supposed to follow orders from the 80 year old pope?? am i supposed to believe what they tell me to?, cus if i dont then im not part of that group..... what if i disagree with 1 thing. does that mean im going to hell when i die??? its alot more complicated "than do you believe in god?". cus when you say god, people asume your talking about what they think god is, and what they think god does. so after the poll is over they will look at it and think all the people that voted "YES" believe in their god and believe in what they believe. or atleast they believe in somethig close to what you belive. i know that what i believe is a lot diffrent than what most people believe. and my "idea" of god is A LOT diffrent than most peoples. so i can not say yes in the poll. i may believe in a higher power, i dont think i could call that "god". The name "god" implies a lot of things. but as far as the dead... its nice to think that the good go to heaven and the bad are punished. but i dont know that. noone knows what happens. all we can do is remember what they did when they were here. and think MAYBE they are in heaven. but if not, than they live through us and what they have done in their life.

maybe it was his ex-girlfriend and was really pissed at her. but what would happen if a girl fell asleep, and woke up with a guy on top of her??? how many months would he get?? or if a guy woke up and a girl was shoving a plunger up his ass... how many months would she get??? well, if he said they were just sleep walking he would no time at all...

great advise so far.. thanks but as far as how to smoke and cut, light, hold, ect... anything i should know to keep from being looked at like a fool? like if i smoked a cigar somewhere different than fishing... like at a celebration or "fancy party".. for example: ive been told to never put out the cigar like a cigarette, just let it burn out... and always take off the band....

denver forfited a 3rd rounder cus back during their SB years they CHEATED and lied about their cap #. well they say 1 guy who is no longer with the organization lied about it so they would remain under the cap..... they cheated, and won 2 SBs, and all they give up is a 3rd rounder.... but if the NFL knows your over the cap, i think you are fined every day you are over. they will cut the cap # down befor the deadline.
