The photo below reportedly comes from a soldier, stationed in Baghdad, who was bitten by a camel spider that was hiding in his sleeping bag. Fortunately, these critters aren't venomous... but they're BIG and FAST (they can run around 10MPH). The photo shows two spiders attached together, and the camera angle makes them look a tad larger than they really are (they're about the size of an adult's hand). They also tend to seek out shade during the daytime, so it's not terribly unusual to see them charging across the desert at you -- only to come to a screeching halt when they reach your shadow. that would freak me out.

ok, so does this "nuclear option" make a law that keeps the fillibuster from being used to appoint judicial nominees? or to simply get rid of the fillibuster all together?

the problem with democracy is that not everyone agrees on everything. democracy is slow. we accept that. i do think they are carrer crooks, but would you rather have a dictatorship? everything gets done alot faster.

it just sounds like the dems are using the fillibuster to keep the republicans from doing what they want to do. so the republicans say ok, we will just get rid of the fillibuster option all together. and its my understanding (granted its limited) the fillibuster option, overall, is on the books for a reason. i dont think it matters whether the topic of argument is something as large as confirming judges or something as small as deciding where to build a monument. and all these arguments about "the constitution says"... might be a valid argument, but the fillibuster has been on the books for YEARS, and its only now being argued agenst because its keeping some law makers from doing what they want to do. if it was really that bad, we would have had this argumetn several years ago.

then why has there been a fillibuster option all these years? there are alot of things we have added to the constitution that are not called "violations of the constitution". they are trying to get rid of the fillibuster option so they can do what they want to do. while you might agree or disagree about whether the topic being argued is good or bad, you cant simply delete the fillibuster option to do it.

i thaught the whole point of a fillibuster is that it CANT be stoped. i watched mr. smith goes to washington... it doesnt make sence to remove that option, no matter which party is in the majority.

the governemnt does not tell the truth. they tell half truths to make the population happy, while they do what need to be done, becuse the public would disaprove if they knew everything. politicians do not lie. (cus if they do they are condemed as a lier, and will not stay in office for long). those who tell the entire truth, will not get votes, cus by giving his opinion, he looses votes, cus no 2 people agree on everything. so being vague and unclear is the road to sucess as a politician.

i definatly thaught yoda could defeat the emperor, but he fell... , i dont see why he went in to hiding. he could have just gotten to the emperor some other time. it is all because of a woman. he does all this just on the half ass of a chance that in the 3 weeks befor the child(s) are born that darth and the emperor can learn how to bring people back to life. (cus the emperor said he could NOT do it). Anakin did say he could kill the emperor after he learned how to bring back Padme. but just befor the final fight scene anakin said he wants power. so even if he does kill the emperor, he would take his place, rather than go back to the jedi.

Obi Wan couldnt deafeat the last emperor's apprentice, anakin had to do it. and it was Darth's arragence that let obi wan win the final battle. (i know i cant spell, but you get the idea). i thin kyoda could have killed them both if faught seperatly.

he said he failed, when he simply fell. it looked like he was winning till then. i dont see why he couldnt just go back and fight again once recovered from the fall. yoda seemed more powerful than the emporer.

i think killing kids proved that he would do anything the emperor asked him to do. but he didnt truely become the evil character untill he learned of padme's death, and he killed her. that killed the last thing holding him from turning to the dark side. but im kinda disapointed that he didnt get to have a lightsaber fight in the mask and suit. i watched episode 4 yesterday, and the fight between darth and obiwan was PATHETIC. alot has changed in movies since then..

LOL, in the theater, as soon as he showed on screen, (not saying a word, just standing there) the WHOLE audience was like AWW GODDAMN IT!!!!!! we were expecting him to jump around and be annoying, and screw up the movie.... THANK GOD THAT DID NOT HAPPEN

i liked how the first thing he said when in the mask was "what of padme, is she alright??" you NEVER hear darth say ANYTHING like that in the other movies.
