Even if that’s a little bit true and he wants to hit his head against the wall with your theory, he did it at on a much cheaper scale that doesn’t hurt us one bit. I’m about that.

Why sign depth players when you’re strapped for cash when you need starters. These guys ain’t gonna make a difference regardless. Save the ***** money until you get what you need first. Look at when they signed Poona last year, then they gotta go sign Douglas mid season. Signed Harty and Sherfield and could used the money for both to sign a more proven player.  It’s the same old *****. I understand they don’t have as much money to spend, but using it more wisely is my issue.  Beane has done it with the oline for years, tries to find guys that had one solid season and hope he can get consistent play out of them. This is who he is. It’s just now at the point he’s trying this ***** with more positions. Getting old

I trust McD and Beane with safties.  They have a good track record with identifying talent

They signed Poyer and Hyde 7 years ago, that’s it. We had guys sitting behind them for a few years nd when they had the opportunity to play they sucked.

Keep hearing we trust these guys with DBs but other then poyer, Hyde white and Johnson there has been a lot of up and down play from everyone else when called upon. They even wasted a first round pick on Elam and he’s hardly seen the field.

I know people are going to complain, but that is a good move at that price. You need backups too.

You don’t waste money on backups while trying to find starters in the same position.

  4. Typical Bills move woud be to bring a guy back someone else doesn’t want because he’s familiar with the playbook. Needs to stop. It’s good depth is the excuse gotta stop. Find guys with less experience who may have higher ceilings instead of average players past their prime that are probably on a decline.

If the first two TE's get injured.

I’m not even sure his contract size, can’t imagine it being much but it probably more then some others options. Considering they are strapped for cash any money on a 3rd string TE is kind of a waste. Just like it is signing Trubisky. You hope he never sees the field and that’s what Beane is wasting money on.

And all HE double toothpicks breaks loose

The team is gonna look very different this next year

About time, they been treading water for the last 3 years trying to find me extra guy that can help them get over the hump

What a terrible deal. He was a liability last year. Personal fouls incoming.

He was one of our most physical defensive players. He didn’t play much because he was behind two all pros that McD was not sitting despite below average play. I thought when Poyer and Hyde were out the D looked stronger with Rapp filling in.

Mess?  You do recognize we’ve consistently finished the last bunch of years winning the AFCE and making sb runs, correct?

such a mess we’re in. Lmao.  Are we supposed to do all of the above and still have loads of cap space?

Simplest way to get around it is to get more out of your younger players. Fact is they draft guys then go sign guys to play their position. Part of the blame for this is probably McD though. What really is it  bad drafting or poor development and lack of trust in young players from the HC.
