  1. Shaq on a vet minimum deal. AJE/DJ only if they’re very team friendly. Not really interested in much of this group after, yet again, not showing up in the playoffs.
  2. I have to admit that I am somewhat intrigued about the prospect of bringing in a WR nicknamed “slant boy” to try and force Josh Allen to throw those passes.
  3. Seems like a good culture fit, no?
  4. Bills clearly tell us they want to get younger and cheaper. ::Here’s a big list of overpaid aging Safeties:: Not knocking the OP.. it is a crazy list of names for one position.. but based on the vibe from our FO, there aren’t many names here we should be interested in… and thank goodness for that. Im open to a young safety like Chinn on a team friendly deal, but hard pass on anyone approaching 30.
  5. Highly doubt the Bills will be drafting a CB high this year, when they enter the season with two good starters and a former RD1 pick they want to revive as the primary backup. So, more likely, maybe another Benford. With all these picks, they’ll likely draft depth pieces to develop in the Secondary on Day 3.
  6. He will be 33 this season. If he wants to play for cheap, sure.. but if I’m guessing correctly, the Bills want to reset some position groups so they’re not paying aging vets year to year.
  7. Very happy to hear this. It stings to lose/move off guys who have been a part of this for years, but they’ve had multiple cracks at it and haven’t shown up (17 aside) when it matters. Time to open a new window, with a new mindset and see if this next group can get over the hump.
  8. I don’t disagree, but I’m talking about the human being he is, not the player .. although what he did for the KC game when he couldn’t fly is stuff of legends.
  9. I hope Poyer sees how loved he is by this fanbase on social media. The outpouring of emotion towards his time here is very evident.
  10. Joe Marino (on his podcast) gives a good breakdown on why the Bills may view McGovern better at C than he was at G. Hides his vulnerability in the run game and allows him to showcase his athleticism more.
  11. Definitely going to wait to see the specifics on this. Guessing it looks WAY better when we do. I do like the 3 years. I think he can be a solid player here, now with a year under his belt.
  12. If Von earns it all back and we have to deal with it in ‘25, that’s a great problem to have .. even further amplified by the Bills likely - at that point - wanting to keep him around. Beane knows he has to nail this draft. That’s how all these worries go away.
  13. Wow… Von, respect.
  14. Yup. Lots of casuals from other teams on Twitter/X gloating over our roster cuts, but the only guy anyone is really worried about replacing is Mitch Morse.
  15. I'm in favor of all of these moves so far (Morse I can go either way on) but I didn't expect all of this tbh. Sentimental feelings aside, I'm pleasantly surprised.
  16. Bills fans today..
  17. I think that's where most of us are. Even when you look on Twitter/X, everyone knows it's time, but this one hurts (emotionally) more than any Bills move made in this era. The sentimental aspect of cutting Poyer is what everyone feels today.
  18. Beane seems like he's making the necessary moves. I'm pleasantly surprised, aside from the sentimental aspect with Poyer. (even though it's the right move)
  19. I advocated for this and think it's the right move, but never though they'd actually do it. Not gonna lie.. this stings a bit.
  20. Safety is going to be interesting because.. yea, we need to get younger there. Also, these free agent Safeties have zero negotiating power. If you want a solid vet for cheap... you're going to get a solid vet for cheap.
  21. Bills used him as their OL6/Jumbo TE in heavy packages last year.
  22. We pretty much have our 8 Gameday Active OL set on March 6th. Really nice group. Talented across the board. Good mix of veteran and youth on the starting line, with a starting caliber veteran depth OG/Jumbo TE and two developmental players that the staff is high on that are now entering multiple years in the system.
  23. Even though we don't have much cap space (currently none at all).. I'm still pretty excited about this upcoming week. For me, it's going to tell quite a bit about the direction of this organization. The Bates trade was an interesting move I hadn't really thought much about until it happened. Do we see more of that? Or do we get the Allen restructure plus a couple extensions and call it a day.. For some, that's all they want. It would signify that they're "running it back" to the extent they can. For others, like myself, I want to see a vision beyond that.. because that has not been enough.
  24. If we were to get a legit full time back, what are we doing with Cook? Cook is way better of an actual RB than I ever thought he would be coming out of Georgia. He's an absolute weapon every time he touches the ball in that fashion. What I don't trust him at doing anymore, is being a reliable receiving back.. which makes zero sense because that's all he did at UGA. Dude was out there running WR routes on the outside and making big catches every other game, yet drops passes all over the place here. Gotta get that fixed this year.
