  1. When you see that short list laid out that way…. the Browns are idiots!
  2. I actually find this interesting. I would have thought the Bills would be one of the younger teams but I guess they’ve evolved over the last couple of years. It means to me that the the Front Office is going to have their work cut out for them going forward. Lots a cap space juggling ahead and definitely time to start hitting big time with draft picks.
  3. Someone else already answered but, yes. Once again the biggest challenge is rain. There’ll be a significant gutter system to capture and direct runoff.
  4. Simple: The roof doesn’t slope towards the interior of the stadium. It slopes towards the perimeter. Remember that the bigger problem is rain, not snow. If you don’t want the snow sliding into the spectators, you definitely don’t want rain ‘sliding’ off. Trust me, it won’t be a problem. 👍
  5. Thanks for sharing these images. They’re a great representation of what can be done these days. Populous is known for some pretty contemporary design work. I’m guessing this will not be your grandmother’s stadium.
  6. So here’s the part that I found hilarious….which I heard on the Today Show this morning. Apparently the Keystone Cops who conducted the raid scooped up everything in a desk drawer, including his expired passports. They ‘claim’ those were taken because they were in the same drawer as some of these secret documents. So, they mean to tell us that these nitwits can’t tell the difference between a passport and a piece of paper? Really? Were they supposedly in some sort of a big hurry? Why exactly? They took NINE HOURS to go through things. Were they afraid the homeowner was going to burst in on them? Sounds an awful like an illegal search and seizure to me. Ham handed nonsense.
  7. They ‘target’ the specifically? Everyone targets everyone. Do you think Mastercard isn’t targeting you with their commercials offering cash rewards? Everything isn’t about the inner city! It’s just not.
  8. You touched on it up above. If the government wants to reduce the cost of college then subsidize or reduce the cost of PUBLIC universities and colleges. This is exactly what’s done with K12 education. It makes literally zero sense to forgive selective loans.
  9. You and I aren’t far off. Where I differ is if you want the government to pay for things then it has to be on a go forward basis. Those that took out loans knew that they were taking them. Why not just refinance the terms to a lower interest rate or a longer term? Better lessons will be learned!
  10. Thanks Chef! I’m having a blast. I now get to do what I want to do and only when I want do it. May be heading out your way for the weekend. A few days in the pool sounds great! 😎
  11. So many people (fans) grade a player on what they see during the games, but the coaches see these guys in meetings, practice, and the locker room. I’m guessing Howard hasn’t impressed anyone in any of those off field venues.
  12. I couldn’t agree more, but my comment was regarding whether a punter (wealthy or not) would be interested in spending the Fall months in Western New York if it meant a decent shot at bringing home a Ring in February. I’m guessing that any punter would. It’s not playing running back or offensive line.
  13. Sure! That’s exactly what the nuclear codes look like. They’re on a piece of paper marked Top Secret just like in a Mel Brooks spy movie.
  14. The lure of a super bowl ring is like the proverbial siren’s song.
  15. Chef…please. Every solution everyone proposes causes you to answer with the same thing….’so what’s your solution’. If you believe you know the answer just tell us already!!!! (By the way, your linked article pretty much says what everyone on here, including myself, have already been saying.)
  16. And in the meantime he’s going to work at the local car wash? It’ll be interesting to see how long the love for his ‘family’ lasts. 😉
  17. What is anything worth? Answer: What people are willing to pay for it. Which is why paying off these loans is such a ridiculous idea. All it will do is artificially raise the price of what people are “willing to pay”….because in fact THEY aren’t paying. Think I’m wrong? I dare you to go to any conference trade show and watch the people stroll the convention floor aisles scooping up swag items from each and every booth they pass. Within the hour they’ll have a tote bag filled to the brim. But, 99% of those people will leave that full bag in the hotel room before they leave for home. Why? Because within less than a day they’ve realized it’s all a bunch of free nonsense that isn’t worth hauling around.
  18. Have we gotten to the small incursion yet? Heck it’s only been SIX MONTHS!
  19. Huh? What a stupid comment by the President! January 6th was NOT about law enforcement. Not even close. Nice try Uncle Joe.
  20. So when a Republican President asked questions about ACTUAL corruption surrounding his potential Democratic opponent that was impeachable. But when a Democrat President raids the home of his Republican opponent on the grounds of POSSIBLE future corruption …that’s considered what again?
  21. Well you certainly don’t fix it by forgiving loans. Maybe, just maybe, everyone doesn’t need to go to college! Maybe you can do the course work for your major in three years and forget about the waste of time electives designed to keep professors employed. How about those suggestions?
  22. What? Oh come on! That could literally be your response to anything then. I have no idea where you’re coming from on this topic. Forgiving these loans is one the worst ideas I’ve heard in a long time…and there have been some really really bad suggestions from our friends in Washington over the years.
  23. Nope I pay my taxes also… a ton of them. But would I rather the government send me the $10,000 that they’re selectively choosing to give as a Christmas present to the parents that told their kids to go get a loan? Yes, I’d rather have the money back.
  24. Yikes….We’ll all wait while you catch up on the events of the last few years.
  25. Chef, nobody’s arguing against this on the fiscal policy you seem to be focused on. The argument is on the fairness policy. Does this money matter to the government? No. Does it matter to the individual taxpayer? Yes.
