  1. I believe that for at least one of the impeachments, there wasn’t a vote of the entire House to launch the inquiry.
  2. There isn’t. But the fact that the GOP thinks there is will be a huge gift to the Dems. The entire GOP is suffering from being Very Online and they are fundamentally incapable of realizing that the majority of Americans won’t buy their nonsense.
  3. Of course they don’t. But if they don’t have evidence of Biden’s culpability, how do you think it’s going to play out politically?
  4. Evidence of bribes would and should absolutely be part of an impeachment. Are you saying that if they have evidence of him taking bribes they *won’t* present it in the impeachment hearings?
  5. Oh definitely funnier. Either the GOP actually finds real hard evidence that Joe Biden took bribes and then the Dems get to run someone who isn't a thousand years old, or the GOP completely fails and gives the Dems a big boost. Win-win either way!
  6. Me neither. It's gonna be hilarious.
  7. This isn't true, but I guess never let facts get in the way of a good feeling.
  8. How do they think this is going to play out? Seems like a bad idea that's only going to hurt the GOP.
  9. Or when it’s completely irrelevant. (But yes, there was an effort to delete video tapes AFTER the Trump team was notified that the DoJ was going to subpoena them).
  10. Keep an eye on who is being represented by a lawyer paid for by Trump and who isn't. Even when attorneys are paid by third parties, they are supposed to represent their clients. Here, it seems like they may be working in Trump's best interest to the potential detriment of their ostensible client. The minute Tavares talked to the public defender, he came clean because it was in his best interest to do so.
  11. It would be impossible to keep a conspiracy that large secret. It's just far more likely that people were skeptical of trusting someone like Rudy who is a known liar and fraud. I've already mentioned that I am skeptical of the 14th Amendment ploy. The Lincoln Project is also made of grifters. Not sure why you're bringing them up here though.
  12. It's a matter of difference of opinion on what is more likely: A sinister cabal involving every major media outlet, most of the government and who else knows how many people is secretly working behind the scenes against conservatives or shady seeming stuff being peddled by known liars and grifters seemed like something not worth trusting right out of the bat.
  13. Not what I said, but reading is tough I guess. I said that the prosecutions are not an effort to remove Trump from the ballot. They are efforts to enforce the law.
  14. ...that's not how impeachments work... It's not a legal determination, it's a political one. That's also why double jeopardy doesn't attach.
  15. Please quote me on what I said that was wrong.
  16. I literally said that I have been wrong. I was just asking for any evidence to the specific claim he was making. Which he was ultimately unable to provide. Then again, we all know that reading is very difficult for you.
  17. You claimed I said something. You have provided no evidence that I said that thing. You then said that I believed other things with no evidence. When called on it, you accuse me of gaslighting. If you're going to make a falsifiable claim, maybe provide some evidence for it?
  18. You have yet to cite my actual positions. You’re just assuming I believe things that are convenient for you.
  19. You're so close to understanding it. So close! It must be hard to be this close to understanding a basic concept but having it just out of your grasp.
  20. See? You're still doing it. You're making up a fictional version of me based on your own laziness and lack of ability to back your claims. Just make up a stereotypical liberal as viewed from the right and accuse everyone you disagree with as believing everything that this figment of your imagination believes. Because backing your own claims, rebutting the actual claims of others, and having consistent factual arguments is too hard for you.
  21. LOL. You said I was wrong about something. Then you fail to provide any citation or evidence or anything I've said. Then you make up stuff about me and say I was wrong for the things I didn't say that you had made up. And then you accuse *me* of playing a part. I think someone doth protest too much. You're just projecting, buddy.
  22. The thing you're doing here is making up a fictional version of me based on what you think that I think instead of actually reading what I've said about these things. It's just a strawman but it's easy for you because you're lazy and not interested in anything that requires a modicum of thought or evidence. It's just sad, man.
  23. I doubt it, because you haven't even started. Just making stuff up because it's easy and you're lazy.
  24. Ah, so you have nothing. You're just talking in generalities because it doesn't require you to provide any evidence to back your claim. Got it.
  25. What did I say about them that was wrong? Could you quote the post(s) you're referencing?
