On second thought, maybe you should put all your savings into that time share in Destin we were talking about.

Nashville I am thinking now.  Better pizza.

agree on WNY pizza. disagree on buffalo sauce. I love buffalo sauce, tho my favorite wing sauce is a gochujang sauce that I make.

I used to love buffalo sauce but I guess too much of it, I kinda am over it.  Kinda like Pearl Jam.  I will still listen to them if they're on, like I won't skip forward but I don't seek them out.  Kinda burned out.

  2. I can't believe some of your are giving me a thumbs down.  You know it's true.  You sit down with a nice pie from an Italian last name family NY style...you're going with that every time.

Just like PBR is not good, some drink it because it's the hip Buffalo thing to do.  Please citizens of WNY, drink better beer, eat better pizza and enjoy life more.

I think it's tough to quantify a coach's development because the only real metrics are win%, playoff/superbowls/championship games etc...all very results oriented and not necessarily tied to the HC

Personally to echo @JauronimoI would like to see a defense that can either sustain its regular season level into the postseason or even play better. Thus far I am very disappointed in a HC w a defensive background finding his defense completely outclassed in the playoffs.

Of all the complaints about McDermott, that's most legit one.  I do give a pass last year because they were riddled with injuries but they have been bad to down right brutal too many times.

  4. Western NY is one of the worst pizza markets in the country.  I love the city and the Bills but man the pizza sucks.

I won't eat local WNY style pizza, only NY style pizza places that are nearby my AirBNB.

Buffalo pizza is too much dough and not enough sauce.  It's yuck.

Also, buffalo sauce is not that good....it's aight.  Give me lemon pepper or garlic parmesan....I had cracked pepper and sea salt last night and it was great.

    Really?

Shanahan's done notably better with Purdy and Garropalo.

    Lewis did better with Dalton.

Joe Gibbs did phenominally with Rypien, Williams, and Theismann, none of which are even in the conversation with Allen.

Johnson did incredibly better with Aikman.

Harbaugh did notably better with Flacco.

    There are others.

    That is simply not true.

You're implying that Reid was no better in the playoffs with McNabb than McD's been with Allen, which is ridiculously false.

Just look up their playoff records and performances in each of their first 7 seasons.

That's such an intellectually lazy defense.

How did Lewis do better with Dalton?  He went 0-7 in the playoffs as a HC and has lower regular season record percentage.

Mark Rypien won the MVP that year and wasn't a good QB the rest of his career.

Aikman is a first ballot Hall of Famer....come on.  Potentially the greatest offensive line of all time.  They had what...8 Hall of Famers on that team?

Bill Belichick went 11-5 with matt Cassel, He dragged Mac Jones tot he playoffs kicking and screaming.

Kyle Shanahan has people thinking Jimmy Garoppolo might be the next elite QB in the NFL for a minute and now he's doing the same with Brock Purdy. We all know how Jimmy turned out.

Great coaches get the best out of their players, but you can't get gold from *****.

    Bad counter argument.

Belicheck has coached a total of 9 seasons without Brady and is well below .500 coaching record.

And you choose a year in which he didn't make the playoffs and the season in which the Bills put up 7 consecutive TD's in that playoff game??

And you are saying Belicheck gets the best out of players....why couldn't he do it for more than 1 season with Mac Jones and Matt Cassell?

Shanahan is a good argument...not Belicheck.

  7. When people are lost and they slow down at every street/driveway thinking that's the one they need to turn on.

If it happens a few times, not a big deal.  But some will be a mile or two off and they are braking constantly.

I live off of a long and windy road with a bunch of houses with 100 yard driveways to their house...the speed limit is 45 but on a regular basis, you have people driving 30-35 mph on this road because they're looking at mail box addresses.

Like I said. McDermott is an idiot. Anyone on this site could have told you before the game that there was no chance at Klein was going to cover Kelce. Sure, Neal was an option. Frankly a better one. But this is on the coach for screwing this up.

He is not an idiot. He was a coach trying to deal with cluster injuries to the exact part of the defense that KC were built to exploit.

Just a reminder, this poster believes backs up should all be UDFA rookies.  Then calls Beane an idiot for not doing it.

All the marijuana defenders always flock to these stories, haha.

Sorry. It is still a federally banned substance, against the law in many states, and prohibited by the NFL.

It is completely idiotic of any player in the NFL to take a risk like that.

There isn’t a risk.  Weed is about to be reclassified and no one in the NFL will ever be suspended for it going forward.

They don’t even test for it.

  10. Does anyone know if the offensive and defensive units switch sides on the sidelines?  Or do they generally stay on the same side?

Last year we sat on the 45 at the tunnel side in front of all the defensive players.

Thinking this year I should get tickets at the 45 on the other side because the offensive players will be there?

    Yes it is lol.

The common theme above is that the pats had Tom Brady while the bills had guys like Kyle orton and fitz.

The Steelers had Big Ben and how

Many Brandon Weeden QBs for the browns?

The packers had A rod and the bears had who, Jay cutler as the best?

If you want to make some sort of sample size to this dolphins then look at the last 2 seasons under McDaniel and Tua.

What Miami did against Josh Allen with Flores and Ryan Fitzpatrick has 0 relevance.

Bills are 3-1 against Miami in the last 2 years against McDaniel/Tua. (Not including the close game against Skylar Thompson in the playoffs)

2022 at Miami loss (Since you didn't provide an explanation like you did with our wins....we were missing almost half our starters and Allen missed a wide open McKenzie on the last play)

2022- Game winning FG to win

    2023- Blowout win

2023 at Miami- close win against a banged up Miami team with the help of a punt return TD.

So from that sample size ^, what makes you think it's going to be an "easy" game?

I didn't say it's going to be an easy game.  I was just giving you the reasons why fans are confident against the Dolphins.

The common in those losing streaks is the Bills, Bears and Browns didn't have franchise QB's just like the Dolphins now.

Fine.  The Bills have outscored the Dolphins 156-113 under McDaniel.  McDaniel's high powered offense is scoring on average of 22 points per game against us.

The outcomes in 2019, 2020 etc are completely irrelevant to 2024

What the Pats did to us for a 20+ game period irrelevant?

What the Steelers did to the Browns in a 20+ game period irrelevant?

What the Packers did to the Bears for a 20+ game period irrelevant?

It's not irrelevant when you have a QB at the level of Josh Allen and the other team doesn't.

What was the common theme above?

Still. Division opponents on the road are not easy... lol. Especially on a short week.

    2022 at Miami- loss

2022 at jets with Zach Wilson- loss

    2022 at pats- comfortable win

2023 at jets with Zach Wilson- loss

    2023 at pats- loss🤢

2023 at a very banged up Miami team- very close 21-14 with the help of a punt return TD

I just don't understand how anyone could think at Miami on a short week is an easy game.

Probably because the Bills are 11-1 in the last 12 against the Dolphins.

There might be some logic behind the thinking of "No one will watch Giants/Panthers if it is up against all the other games, so we need to schedule it as the only game on at that time."

Same with giving us the Jags instead of Ravens, Lions, Texans. Those games will dominate ratings even if they are up against 12 other games. No need to waste Prime Time slots on games that already get ratings.

I dont know. I pulled that out of my ass. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

    Lets drive to Miami together.
