Completely agree with everything you said. People say the Bills haven't beat anybody. That may be true but the Cowboys are a nobody as well. They are the Dolphins of the NFC and have had a terrible run defense both this year and last year. The Cowboys were behind all game and almost managed a comeback in just the last quarter. Tough game but the Bills have shown they can stop Lamar and also Henry before. Joe Brady has called great games and actually looks to game plan against opponent weakness, unlike Daboll and Dorsey. -
Joe Brady has changed the season's expectations
Scott7975 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Brady will be here at least another year. Maybe if the Bills go all the way to and win the Super Bowl, some team might make him an offer. Not necessarily though. Even if he gets poached, next man up. This team runs through Josh Allen and will always be a competitor as long as he is healthy and on the team. -
I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

They catch the ball better, have better YAC, and they are better at running pick/rub plays. A lot of that might have to do with Brady’s scheme though. -

Buffalo Bills: Elite early season team, year after year
Scott7975 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
With all the roster turnover, I didn’t expect to look so good. Especially with the change of offensive system and oline changes. Usually takes time for linemen to gel. let’s just hope we break the chain of having mid season slump. Obviously we will lose games but I just hope we don’t have a string of loses to teams we should beat. what they accomplished at the end of last year with all those wins was incredible and unlikely. And it’s still continuing! -
I dunno. I guess it’s all about how you define solid. To me solid is average. This team has played above average. In some areas elite.

I agree let em underrate us. At some point though, they will have to change their narrative. At least for the regular season. That may happen after this Ravens game. Either that or they start saying the Ravens are a bad team. I don't know which they would fight against more... the Ravens are bad or the Bills are good haha. -

They all picking against us again... Democrat and Chronicle: Ravens 23, Bills 17 Sal Maiorana writes: "With the Steelers off to a 3-0 start, the Ravens are already two games behind in the AFC North and as one of the highly-rated Super Bowl contenders going into the season, they can’t continue to keep stumbling. They’re coming off a nice win in Dallas, and they’re at home so they’ll take care of business." The Arizona Republic: Ravens 24, Bills 20 Jeremy Cluff writes: "If the Ravens can get to 2-2 after the 0-2 start, it will be a great sign for the rest of their season. We think the defense will be key in beating the Bills." The Sporting News: Ravens 23, Bills 20 Vinnie Iyer writes: "The Bills have been having fun running the ball to support Josh Allen in their diverse and balanced offense. The Ravens can be relentless running at a high level with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, and that's how to attack Buffalo's defense. Allen will run into some turnover trouble against Baltimore's back-end looks after the Ravens apply some good inside pressure on him." Sports Illustrated: Ravens Iain MacMillan writes: "It's time to sell high on the Bills. They have got off to an unbelievably strong start to the season, but I believe we're going to see some regression from this team in the coming weeks. A road game against the Ravens could be the time for exactly that to happen. Despite being 1-2, the Ravens rank fifth in the league in Net Yards per Play and their offense is averaging a blistering 6.6 yards per play, the best mark in the NFL. More important than the Ravens' offense is their defense, specifically their ability to stop the run. The Ravens have allowed just 2.8 yards per carry, the fewest in the NFL by 0.7 yards per rush. That's going to be a tough challenge for a Bills team that has embraced the run this season, running at a top five rate amongst all teams. I'll take the Ravens in this must-watch Sunday Night Football showdown." CBS Sports: Ravens 23, Bills 20 John Breech writes: "It took three weeks, but the Ravens have finally figured out how to win games: They just need to run the ball. ... With Derrick Henry, the Ravens offense is basically a freight train that's rolling down the tracks at full speed, and not many teams have a strong enough defense to slow down a freight train. The Bills have struggled to stop the run this year, surrendering an average of 118.3 yards per game and that number is likely only going to get worse after this showdown on Sunday night. The Bills are coming off a short week after playing on Monday night in Week 3, which is definitely an advantage for the Ravens. ESPN: Bills win ESPN's Football Power Index gives the Bills a 56.7% chance of winning the game. Dimers: Ravens 25, Bills 22 Dimers states: "After extensive simulations, our model gives the Bills a win probability of 41%, while the Ravens have a win probability of 59%." Is this the best coaching we have seen in the JA era?

This is something we really wont know until January. I'm not usually one of those guys that acts like you have to wait for a superbowl win to admit your team is good but... The Bills have been good every year. The D has been playing well every year with key injuries or aging players. The offense is doing more with less kind of because they traded their star but IMO the Bills built versatile and also have better role players. Even Davis was just a role player when he was here. Now our role players are actually good. One thing I will say is that this team is finally playing the way McD wants it to play. Able to run the ball when needed. Able to pass the ball when needed. Able to play small offense without having to have the super hero Josh big play as a normal play. Also the D making stops when needed and complimenting the offense... when the offense scores, the D has kept the lead by making stops. When the D makes a stop the offense scores. Thats complimentary football. So far so good but we havent really played a good defense yet. We havent played an elite team yet. Lets see how these next few weeks go. -

Probably not very good. We are always Dolphins daddy and they have been figured out. Jags have lost 8 in a row with Lawrence now. Tough to say about the Cards. Tougher teams ahead for sure. To me, it doesn't matter. We didn't just beat the Jags and Dolphins. We destroyed them and they weren't even trying to run up the score. Not much more you can do than that. -

Not putting a player on IR doesnt necessarily mean they will only miss 4 weeks or less. It just means they don't need the roster spot. -

Last time the Bills played King Henry... Buffalo did not shrink from the primetime stage, winning 41-7 and limiting Henry (who did not play in the fourth quarter) to 25 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries (a 1.92 yard-per-carry average). Those represent the 14th-fewest and sixth-lowest totals of his career, respectively. You'd have to go back to the 2018 and 2019 seasons, respectively, to see lower rushing totals from Henry: The last time he ran for fewer yards was on Oct. 14, 2018, when he rushed 21 yards off seven carries (3.0 ypc) in a 21-0 loss to the Ravens. The last time he averaged fewer yards per carry was Oct. 13, 2019, when he averaged 1.87 ypc in a 16-0 loss to the Broncos. -

Lose and the Bills only beat bad teams Win and the Ravens are just a bad team. I can't wait for this game! -
Probably just hurt. Also probably pissed off and down that his team is now 0-3 and got embarrassed on MNF. Nothin wrong with that. By all accounts Davis was a good teammate, loved here in the locker room, and looks like a chill cool dude. I dont think he was a very good receiver but that has nothing to do with his character as a person.
