    You're being silly.

You know who thinks 57 is old?  Children.  Very young children.

Just because someone's lived over half of what they will end up living, that doesn't mean they're old.  It means they're not young.  But 57, in every rational adult's eyes, is too young to die.

Taking showers with my bride on occasion has improved my spirit...snorting coke lost it's max libido.

I don't give a crap what anybody's favorite tunes are............I have seen Bruce Springsteen 27 times, and can't wait till next year's tour that just got announced.  I have every album he ever made up until the Seeger Sessions stuff............I love the Stones and have seen them several times.

There is no way that any of those songs, and I like them all,  are better rock songs than Satisfaction and Born To Run.................I won't even argue about Sweet Child because I'm not much of a GNR fan.

Pink Cadillac in 1980?  Was it a bootleg or something?  (Bruce often had songs that weren't official that he would play live)  It was on a B side of one of the Born in the USA songs in 1984.

I have no idea..not a fan.If not '80 it was ''81 and it was live.Maybe with another entertainer?..but it sure wasn't '84...I didn't live in b-low then. She was also heavily into Tom Petty (him I liked, still do).I have connections to get in touch with her..be interesting to see what she says..

She loved swing-sets too (Como Park).

I respectfully disagree.  Those are greatest hits tunes, as in most popular.  Fans of the Stones, Bruce and Guns and Roses would cite far better tunes that were not as commercially successful.

Personally, my favorite Stones tune (and I am a Stones novice) is "As Time Goes By."  Favorite Boss tune is, "Spirit in the Night."  Favorite Guns and Roses tune is, "Rocket Queen.

I dated a girl in 1980 that couldn't let pink cadillac leave the cassette player.I had to bail...great song but not 4-8 times a night.

I think: "Waiting on a Friend", "Point Blank", & "Patience"... Are some of the best. Not those commercial success.   I think it's almost 100%.

Axle Rose treated people like garbage most of his life,he doesn't have many friends or close family connections...reminds me of the lead singer from the Kinks..a a-hole.

I hear people a lot using that phrase.  Even upper management where I work.  At least five times a day.  Heck even a mod used that phrase when explaining how game day threads can get.

It entered my vocabulary around 2013ish.  I don’t remember in the 90s people using it that much.

Has society evolved in such a way that’s such a buzz phrase?

My father called people he thought were silly or ignorant...

    Jamoli's.

    No clue why.

  7. International cable came out in Cheektowaga around the blizzard...WGN carried the Cubs games in the afternoon,me and my buds would go inside to watch on summer afternoons ..he charmed Wrigley up with Kingman.Caray loved him.Batting title and a gentleman.

RIP Mister Buckner...you played the game well.

I like listening to Slick Tom.  Why is he a prick?

South Buffalo rough neck..thin as a rail with a cocky mouth.I met him twice..he's not my mind of guy.I heard he quit smoking..maybe he'll see 60.

Carl is a very down to earth guy..he did mega work for decades to get bands here when we weren't on their tour lists.

To be honest...I really don't listen to 97 rock much anymore...unless I'm out in the yard.

As somebody else said..it's the same set of music...I would rather slide in a iggy pop cd on some days..or dead kennedy's/ramones/beach boys/national/Cher/motorhead....

    Van Morrison

Thanks, but honestly few people in WNY follow the Raptors. NBA is just not a thing around here. Even baseball, there are more Yankees than Blue Jays fans.

We have many, many Mets fans here too,Promo.?

Since the crust, whether under the sauce/toppings, or on the outside, unmolested, is the same piece of dough - one would likely think that it would taste the same.

I, personally, add a fresh coating of olive oil and a special blend of spices to my exposed dough prior to putting it into the oven.

I would also like to point out the diversion that we're seeing from the most important part of my original post ... cruel and unusual punishment/abuse.

The clowns are testing your leadership skills.

    Don't bow down.

    Crust is King.

It’s actually a 4 game series but it looks like it’s gonna be rained out

I can appreciate the effort last night but I’ll stick to the reruns

Would it have killed Edith or Gloria to buy Arch a Mets t-shirt..they lived Queens for crying out loud.

Doug Heffernan was the man...he always sported Mets gear on his two shows.
