    Great win!

If Callaway puts Frazier in again, then he should be fired on the spot.  It's ridiculous.

Gugs...he's got McNeil on the hot corner tonight (7th),Broxton trying to survive at 8.Nimms leading off,big Al back to #2.

He can’t sign for another 6 months at the earliest. 247 doesn’t show UB either but does show Miami unlike Rivals. Shows he has some interest in UK and no Crystal Ball prediction...

I'm sure 716 and of Promo will chime in with the inside scoop.I'm about 90 % sure Sal C. reported it and he's pretty legit.

For all I know..Sal meant setting something up (visit) to UB.....which makes a lot of sense for obvious reasons.

i've settled with White Sox games for the AL, i like Stone and Benetti as announcers, and getting away from the circus that is the AL East is stress-reducing and makes the game enjoyable again

and will watch Clayton and Thor and other aces for NL games.

I watched the rain soaked NESN(mariners/sox) game yesterday..thick accents on those fellas. At 4,I moved over to Underwood and "Archie" for the Indians/A's....business as usual in Oakland...blue skies and 10k in that old, urine smelling Coliseum. They still don't have plans for a new one..what a shame.

    Thanks, All.

Next up, somewhere to get an early breakfast?

We're jumping on the number 40 bus from the Transportation Center to head up to the falls on a Saturday morning. Is there anywhere close to get a good breakfast (pancakes, eggs, bacon etc) to fill us for a day on the tourist trail?

    Cheers.

Swan Street Diner is only about a 5 minute ride from the bus station...the maple syrup is straight up New York.

Only starting holdover from last year is Dawkins (maybe?) Even The coach was replaced. Yeah it’s gonna be wild.

Nsekhe starting scares the hell out of me, Mills was a starter..a below average starter...what does this back up do to upgrade the RT spot?????

Spain is horrible...you got more of Ducasse in him ..only difference is a name and number change.

I pray to God Josh doesn't get his head handed to him like he did last year in Houston.

P.S.- The dude from the Jets (long) doesn't sound like high caliber either.0r the guy from the Raiders who was replaced by Richie.

...was supposed to be Luck's "go to partner" from Stanford drafted by Colts, moved on to Saints and then.....poof............

Yep after Graham left he was going to be their guy...he was mixed in with a Hawai'i guy..both failed and that's tough to do with Brees as your tosser and play caller.

Billy Bellicheat, Sean Payton, Pete Carrol, the dude in Tampa Bay that wears the beret, and some of these high profile coaches/GM’s and trainers should be paid in accordance with the cap.

I’ve heard the argument a hundred times: The Cheats only win because of two people - Brady (subject to the salary cap) and Bellycheat (not subject to cap). The Hoodie should be subject to the cap. Period end.

Add to that hat the scouts, the nutritionists, the administrative staff (who handles calls, travel, orders Gatorade, etc).

The playing field should be level for everyone.

    Can ya hear me?

If you would include airplane rides for away games...Seattle gets *%&$# in the (+).

Mets up 11-2 and Gary and Keith go to one of my favorites - the box of baseball cards comes out.

First one Gary pulls is Manny Mota.

As I type Keith is extolling the virtues of Clay Carroll.

EDIT: a bonus mention of Bernie Carbo

Keith is throwing them out of the booth and Gary just gave a little guy a full deck.

    Gotta love it..

"Don't go play on the freeway with them"...leave it up to Keith to tell a kid that.

Rex being gone before 5 o'clock was a big problem!

He needed to hit Chestnut Ridge Park to take pictures of his wife's feet during the sunset hours for the perfect look. The woman has pretty toes..no bunions..full rainbow of polishes...

Don't act like you don't enjoy looking at pictures like that...

Something tells me coach McD has no interest in his wife's feet?

8 batters in, 7-0 and the only out was McNeil getting thrown out at third.

Wish I had actually seen it - my boys were playing video games.

No problems..set your recorder for 6am /SNY for the rewind.

Beautiful night to be a Mets fan!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen posts on who makes the final 53, but am wondering who are those players who are showing the potential to help us in the future, those who are close but in a log jam with others, and who can we bring up to fill in when there are injuries.

So, who is on our practice squad?

The parameters, according to the Sporting News:

    NFL practice squad rules

For 320 players, getting let go on roster cutdown day is not the end of the road in the NFL, as each team is granted 10 practice squad players in addition to its 53-man roster.

An NFL practice squad typically is made up of rookies and undrafted free agents who the team recently cut. Each team can carry up to four veterans - who can have no more than two accrued NFL seasons (six games on the 53-man roster qualifies as an accrued season) - on its practice squad, and a player can't be on a given practice squad for more than three seasons. Practice squad players are not eligible to play in games. Teams can sign players from other teams' practice squads as long as the players are added to the new teams' 53-man rosters (active/inactive).

    My potential practice squad:

QB-Tyree Jackson- I think the Bills will only keep two active on the 53 man roster

LB-Tyrel Dodson- may need a year practicing with an NFL team to crack through

RB-Keith Ford- not a bad running back but loses out to all the new RB’s that came in off season

TE-Tommy Sweeney- may make it next year

S-Jaquan Johnson- starts here, on roster by mid-season

OG-Ike Boettger- may continue developing here

DE- Darryl Johnson Jr.- some potential for later on

WR-David Sills V, Nick Easley, Cam Phillips- not able to make it just yet

RB-Christian Wade (International/Exempt)- doesn’t cost the Bills much

Talk about jumping the gun.Let's wait for SJF....and for anybody to just simply think that Barkley is auto gifted the 2nd spot at QB,clearly didn't watch much of Tyree at UB.

this thread is meant for the second week of August..not mid May.

I can understand the need for veteran leaders, but how old do you need to be to be a veteran? Kroft will be 27 and in his 5th year, can't he be the veteran presence? Also the Bills te coach is 48 and has been an NFL te coach for 12 years. A veteran presence doesn't have to be someone past their prime.

The position has been a mystery and full of misery since I can remember..Big Pete was even kind of average.
