Kimbrel and let him be the setup guy.

Solid point but when he had the opportunity to get Gio Gonzalez, after Vargas struggled..I said to myself..he's too cocky to make a glowing roster change...he would be admitting he misjudged some talent..that's not in his DNA.

Bottom line...Kimbrel improves this team but our GM isn't ready to bite the bullet yet.

I have been a fan since the 1969 World Series. Bills and Mets for life! ouch!

Welcome..just a bit about me...my second cousin is Kevin Kobel. He still watches the games down in Boston Hills.

This year's team sure is exciting to watch..we just need to keep hanging with Atlanta and things will fall into place.

    Don't lose faith.

i've missed the last few weeks of MLB with work and stuff

what's the key story so far to let me jump back in?

looks like only 2 or so teams are finished already

Row..do yourself a favor and watch tonight..McNeil and Big Al have a hard on for the game...their plate appearances scream of it.Jake is on the mound as well...pure baseball entertainment tonight.

Keep in mind..Frazier is still your rally killer..don't listen to '70's.

Value-wise, this was our best pick of the draft. If we can get him to see more of the field, he'll not only be a starter, but he'll be a probowler. He needs to bulk up a bit, but that's the easy part.

Like Kiko,I think he's too high motor to put beef on...and I'm fine with that because his skill/mind set is to avoid and attack.Thankully,he not nuts like Kiko..but he plays like him. He's going to be a Bill for decade...great pick by Beane and his southeast scout. How much credit should Keith Jennings get for this selection?

I've been to Meadville a few times, not much to there do besides leave for Pittsburgh, Erie, or Youngstown

Outside of Presque Isle,Erie is pretty sleepy imo.I miss the Drive In that sat right before the park enterance..

We enjoy Crooked River Chili when we are down there and Yellowpike subs..can't find that in B-low.

Fat Bobs used to be really good like 10 years ago, then the husband and wife divorced and the business went downhill...I know people still really like it and I have no idea why (dry, sides are bland).

    BW's is OK.

I would say drive out to Lockport and go to One Eyed Jacks or if you dont wanna make the drive, just go to Dinosaur (its a "chain" but a local chain).

Paatt..I have some semi good news, he still caters and will also deliver to your home(Saturdays Only ?). The set up is only done but e-mails..I agree, best BBQ in WNY.

Al e oops in Lancaster is pretty good.

    Leave?

Just kidding, I've never been there.  If it were me I'd want to go to a Pirates game. Looks like a beautiful ballpark.

The last time I was there I saw a arena football game and nearly ended up in a cult. The yellow bridges are freaky but intriguing.Driving down we traveled behind a Amish buggy for a good 30-40 minutes...that was taxing.

Never seen the Cougars but I've been to a few Wildcat games back in the 70s.

Bill had a total of 36 sacks.  Bills DL had 20 sacks last year.  KW had 5.

If the team can get back up to 46 with EO getting 8 or so I will be happy.

If EOs pressure up the middle cause more sacks from other players it's fine by me.

Sacks are nice but disrupting the QB with pressures are important too.

And I would accept that..but people talk numbers. You and I both agree this team is one draft away from seriously competing for the Lombardi..don't get soft on me bear..bleed the guts, glory and pride of south cheektowaga.

Beane's doing well..I wouldn't want any other GM running this organization.

    Peace

I know I’ve been aware of him for at least a couple seasons. He’s freaky fast of the ball, and I think he was a top 3 non-QB guy going into this year (even playing out of position).  I’m thrilled!  Getting 10 sacks form the interior might not be a realistic expectation, especially as a rookie, but if he can penetrate (probably even better than Pro Bowl Kyle) to disrupt the run game, I’ll be pleased.

I don’t pretend to be an expert. Some here are indeed qualified to judge talent, but many know about as much as I do but come off as “certain”. I’ll just say I feel very good about Oliver. Time will tell.

Well..I will say this roster is deeper than '18. I felt very good mentally about our defensive front until I watched NFLN review the Jets this afternoon,a ten second footage of the Jets home game showed Trent Murphy get owned to the max..bulldozed into the soon to be old turf.Sam Darnold threw TD pass on the play.We have a 9-7 team right now..I'm happy and I hope all of these new recruits can become brothers and create positive energy.

Joe,pete,Larry haven't met Jim,john, jose,Spain, frank, gerald, harold, greg, and that Beasley guy yet.

Ohh..that locker room..to be a fly on the wall.

I eat live spiders to freak out the  chicks (srsly).

I ate a live worm once...just to be the tough guy,not to mention some at the bottom of tequila bottles

Head to Cambodian fields and you will see humans/drug growth producers eat spiders straight of greenery for protein purposes.

    I tickled death before...not a fan.

Interior guy, but I’d set the over/under at 7.5 as a rookie. I’m told I’m too PollyAnna and optimistic. That might be true, but it doesn’t offend me. (Despite reports, I’m hard to offend, especially by message board guys.)  Your thoughts?

My thoughts??? Joseph was a steal in the draft,I saw him play week in and week out on CBS and ESPN...he's a hitter..a head hunter,a guy you don't want to face who doesn't build sand castles on the sidelines.Oliver,I know nothing about, know nothing about that conference and I don't pretend to too.Too many people on this board get jacked up about YouTube footage and what national hacks say.

    I know this..for #9...and a QB crusher..he had better produce 10 sacks this year..atleast.

I like the walk.....instead of the talk.

  13. I got 10,000 worth of American currency notes that suggests more than 70% of this community has never seen a Cougar game this past season.

    CBSSN ..what.

This says something about the person. Heck, I’ve certainly never even met the guy, but it makes me like him more. He came off as sincere and VERY happy on draft day.

How many sacks do you expect from him this year?

    Afraid, but not naked.

When I was in foothills/banks of Lebanon..one of our brothers ate boot spiders..straight up live.

After he left the Marine Corps,he died on a boat in the gulf while deep sea fishing.Massive heart attack.

When the black crow circles...your time is limited.

  15. I'm not a fan of sugar coating or pampering so I will straight up say if toddfather goes hitless again tonight at 5...demote him to 7.

My hope is to trade him whenever Collins wants to challenge the ways of Mick and the wet behind the ears guy.
