What's surprising to me is that some of the players seem to have Mickey's back. I've seen Noah stick up for him twice this year, DeGrom was pretty much a good soldier after the D'backs incident and now Vargas goes after the reporter.

As far as Noah is concerned...it depends on what day of the week it is.

It makes perfect sense to me.  What has old Rob ever done as a DC?  You have to go back to his work in NE as the last time he was part of a successful defense.

The defense is NO was among one of the worst defenses all time.

Rex made the Bills into a bad defense, Rob joined the staff and made it worse!

The two of them agreed that Mario Williams would be better off dropping back into coverage than he would rushing the pass thrower.

    It ended there.

Bucket list for the 5 days I’m there includes Thin Man Brewery (haven’t been there yet), Teds hot dogs, Charlie the butcher, Lanova pizza and wings on W. Ferry, brunch at

Toutant, Paula’s Donuts and Bar Bill. I’ll be rolling myself back to Ohio but YOLO amirite. Plenty of time to work out when I return.

Charlie the Butcher over Schwabl's or Wiechecs????

    C'mon now.

For such a poorly supported team it has always amazed me at how consistently they have been competitive.

Breed them and sell them.Look at Durham again this year..club is loaded but half of them will be sold off after two..three yrs with the big club.

A consistent .300 or so BA there gets you a ticket out of town most of the time..

I’d need a time machine to recall the last time I listened to an entire album.

I love the sound of the needle..my albums are banged up but listenable.Target sells players..won't help the old 45's /lp's but it gives you that chance to go back back in time..

I thought Ching was the guy they brought in while Chong was appearing on That 70's Show?

And those were my years..but I could never connect with that show.Grumpy old man..wife ,the slave/dinner cooker..kids smoking dope in the basement everynight..swingers/key gatherings?

My father would have kicked my ass if he ever smelled pot in the basement.

    That show was very liberal.

My father WAS NOT a liberal.

When he lied and said he made multi millions off his car washing business and the media trumpeted his genius, not even one second of objective thinking or research?

His mind has been gone for years and you know that row .I just remember his playing days, don't pay attention to the devil that took over is body...I'll never forget what my dad said about him.. "He plays like Pete Rose".

He pretty much burned every link/bridge he had with the Mets organization....Roger McDowell included.

What you described isn't her just saying, "I have no interest in sports," it's "I have no interest in sports and therefore you'll have to stop watching sports." In that case, yes - run away.

But her having no interest in sports, in and of itself, is not a reason to ditch her. My wife has no interest in sports but she has no problem with me watching football. She'll even watch a game with me now and then. We've been together for 32 years and I'm glad I didn't run away when she said she wasn't interested in sports.

I like to watch at home with my brother(blood)..and a friend or two..brother in law included. They bring some things over..we have food..nothing special and we WATCH the game. It's fun without the stupid chatter...

    3rd and 6 at our 38 yard line...pivotal talk happens..line talk etc

Not...Jenn is having a surprise birthday party for Timmy on the 8th of October..Saturday at 4.

we actually had season tickets to the auditorium (plays and musicals) for a few years.  there was a good balance though.  90% of the time she took her mom or one of her girlfriends.  they'd go out to dinner and drinks, then to the show.  i would have to go to 1 or 2 a year, which was do-able.

Spoken like a true, loving seasoned husband.?
