  1. There is no reason for someone else to clarify for you. How about you do what I did and look up their birthdays and stats yourself. Then you can make an intelligent informed comment instead of using untrue made up numbers blaming someone else when called on the fake stats you provided. Landry and OBJ both turned 24 in November at the end of the season so it makes no difference because they both had more yards before turning 24. Julio had 6 count them just 6 more targets then Sammy. So there in no vast difference.
  2. And now you are making up fake facts. First Sammy is still 23 for a couple weeks. Second 5 WR's that were drafted the same year as Sammy have more yards than he does before they turned 24 also. So you're wrong. Are you intentionally trying to deceive people here? OBJ, Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson, Mike Evans and Brandin Cooks all had more yards than Sammy before their 24th birthday. And despite missing more time than Sammy in his first 3 years Julio Jones still had more receptions, yards and TD's than Sammy. Are you seeing the trend?
  3. It's a worthless cherry picked stat. It doesn't put points on the board and it doesn't win games. Sammy has not had an elite year yet in the NFL so stop saying he has elite anything at this point. He has on year of barely over a 1,000 yards and wasn't even top 10. Yes he has the physical talent but he hasn't been elite at anything in the NFL to this point. He can't stay on the field because he is constantly hurt with a slew of different injuries every year. So there is no rational non kool-aid drinking individual that would try and spin a 28 catch year in to being elite or the fact that he hasn't been a top in his own draft class in production: yards, receptions, TD's, etc. And the only thing you can come up with to defend his abysmal production which no one else uses is yards per target.
  4. But when you only catch 28 passes in a season like last year and have no impact at all that stat is worthless and cherry picked. He is not even top 5 in his draft class at this point and people are all over this thread calling him top 5 in the league. lol He has been out performed by several WR's from his own class. Mike Evans, OBJ, Brandin Cooks, Allen Robinson and Jarvis Landry. All have outperformed Sammy since they were drafted together.
  5. You find it impressing watching him stand on the sideline in sweats? lol
  6. Talent means nothing its all about production. I'm sure you probably have heard Parcel's famous quote about talent.
  7. What difference does it make? Does sprained make you feel better? Do you know what a sprain is? It is still damage(tears) to the ligament. At minimum for the least severe sprain(grade 1) it is 2 to 4 weeks. But also with the damage done to the ligaments the knee joint is not as structurally sound which can lead to further more severe injury in the future. Higher grade knee sprain can take 4 to 12 months to recover. So do you feel better now that title says sprain?
  8. Urlacher was 6-4 258lbs at the combine. So I fail to see the comparison between him and Milano who is 6ft 221lbs.
  9. I agree with what you say about him catching in traffic even when not open etc all that. But you once again ignore the main thing I said which is Tyrod is scared to throw the stuff you just said Jones is good at. So unless Tyrod does a complete 180 on what he did the last couple of years I don't see him or any of our WR's being 1st down machines.
  10. A lot gave him well beyond benefit of the doubt. I've seen lots of people claim he was one of if not the best GM in the league the last couple years on the BBMB.
  11. Drinking the Kool-aid will do that to you. Never drink the kool-aid.
  12. This is the best Bills news I have heard in years.
  13. The problem that you don't seem to be paying attention to is we have Tyrod at QB. Tyrod is scared to throw to receivers that aren't wide open and he doesn't throw his receivers open or throw before they make their cut like good QB's are supposed to. Now we have a WR with great hands but by all evaluations struggles to get any separation in college and in the pros it will be even harder. Now add the fact we have a QB who refuses to throw to someone like that and we will likely see or get very little out of him at least while Tyrod is QB.
  14. This reminds me of tank carder and he ended up not making the team.
  15. Here is what NFL.com says Play speed is very average. Lacks vertical push to force cornerbacks to open and run early and doesn't have second gear to separate from coverage down the field. Thin frame. Struggles to find clean releases against press coverage due to play strength and foot quickness. High-volume production helped by high percentage of short throws and wide receiver screens. Sticky out of breaks and unable to shake tight coverage. Limited amount of burst and wiggle after the catch and won't create much more than is there. Not overly-committed as a run blocker.
  16. Don't know where you came up with all that fantasy stuff about him? He is good in press gets lost in space when in off coverage. He went from just solid to elite over night some how according to you. Lol His 2015 year was terrible. He had 114+ QB rating against him. He had a good senior year but there is nothing elite about anything he does. You say his ball skills are great but he only had 6 career ints in 4 years that isn't great ball skills. He isn't physical lacks strength. Is weak against the run doesn't like to tackle against the run. NFL.coms draft profile even says he shouldn't be an every down player because his weak physicality against the run and says he may contend for a nickel spot. But he is elite according to you.
  17. Another wasted draft pick for the Bills. That was the most uneventful pick of the entire night. NFLN was speechless other than Mayock who was trying to be polite and talk a little bit calling him solid which isn't much of a complement for a 1st round draft pick while the rest of them just sat there silent with nothing to say about him. Can't wait for the usual Bills spin saying he was a top 10 pick on their board or the top rated CB on their board, etc. The usual made up bs they try to sell us fans. The only thing that could even partially make me feel better at this point would be the Pegulas cleaning house completely in the next few days.
  18. Instant starter means nothing in th NFL. That doesn't mean they are good just because they start. The Bills have lots of bad starters. Mills was a starter does that make him good? No he is terrible. Henderson started his entire rookie year and was the worst linemen in the NFL that year. But he was an "instant starter". And just because he might start doesn't mean much when we have one of the worst secondaries in the league at the moment.
  19. Until Whaley offers him about a million dollars a game at the end of the season when our nobody WR's are all hurt and Sammy's foot is hurt again. Then we will hear how all healed up and rested Harvin is and how he is going to be good. Lol then reality shows up again.
