We're not so sure. Derrick Henry will NOT be that "near 2000 yards RB" from last season. He's gonna be 31 years old. Every single player falls off in production somewhere. I think this is the year where he slips. Yeah, he'll have some great games, but nowhere near elite level of years prior.
Bingo!
When situations get tougher, McD crumples like paper. Dead @ss. This team starts and ends with Josh Allen. Sprinkled with good O-line. Maybe some cameos from RB James Cook this season.
Didn't Beane and McDermott realize that players on defense DO get injured? Seems stupid that quality back ups weren't drafted years ago for Poyer and Hyde. Even for Milano. Somebody bring us up to speed on this.
Counting on players to stay healthy is negligent.
Beane's talent evaluation, on the defensive side of the ball, is just not good.
Off the top of my head, he hit the mark on getting Josh Alien, James Cook, and trading for Stefon Diggs. And amazingly, built up a good o-line.
We should be concerned when it's game 3 in the regular season and the defense is still NOT showing up.
Will the McDermott Defense Force please stand up if that happens?
Good coaches get canned ALL the time. If not, somehow they leave no matter what. Bills Mafia still don't understand that for some odd reason.
A healthy Josh Allen and a good o-line are the MAJOR reasons why we're here.
Somebody talk to the Chain Gang and press them on why Buffalo Bills are always short on 3rd and inches/4th and inches when we face Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs. McDermott should do that.
I'm just interested in results. If he's such a worker, why did he keep dropping passes? His work rate plummeted. He shouldn't be in a Bills uniform ever again. Honestly, this is a waste of a spot for someone else, and reps, if Bills tried to get Gabe back here.
