  1. Jamal Adams has been out for 4 games. They have no pass rush, but they are much better with him in the backfield. I doubt that Dunlap is the answer, but their current DE’s are abysmal at best
  2. That is an interesting name. Any info on the historical background of Shemar?
  3. I think his 2 misses were a knock against him, acceptably so.
  4. Physically talented and played well enough at Ohio State To have been considered a top CB in his class. However, His lack of ability to stick with a team is completely troubling.
  5. Ridiculous. There’s tanking and there’s dismantling. This is the latter. Why trade low-cost, high-end young talent? This team is going to be bad for a very long time, with or without Lawrence, if they continue to send their top talent elsewhere. Not that I want them to keep it, of course.
  6. I was born and raised in Southern Ontario. My dad was a fan and would head down to games with his buddies every year starting in the late 80’s. Because I wasn’t one of those jagoff kids who hates their fathers sports team, and because I was close with my dad and loved bonding over the Bills, I was hooked. My dad passed over 10 years ago and I have moved to the West Coast, but I am a lifer and will carry forth this tradition with my kids.
  7. I find his drops rather troubling.
  8. The biggest knock against Darnold has been that he gets shaken up really badly and can’t handle the blitz. If this were 2017 and the offensive line that Dallas had that year was in place, he could play in Dallas. This year’s Cowboys offensive line is straight up offensive and would get Darnold killed. He would be a terrible choice for them and, if his career isn’t already dead, that team would destroy any hope he has of being a starting NFL QB. The cowboys are better off tanking this year and trying to build with better draft picks, though Jerrah is too stubborn to do that.
  9. I think that anybody that knows the quality of person that Phillips is agrees with the statement. I think we all hope that it’s just injury recovery that has hampered his play this year. If so, we saw a very good player last season prior to his injury and have to hope that player will re-emerge once recovered.
  10. Do more squats.
  11. Based on Belichick’s post-game comments, it sounded like they want to figure out what needs changing with their current players, not a replacement. Stidham is not exactly a world beater and looked marginally better in the passing game without being a real physical threat to keep anyone honest with his running game.
  12. Separate the fact that there were no TD’s from the rest of Josh’s game. He accounted for over 360 yards of offence and his receivers, aside from Beasley, were not creating space for him to throw into. I will enjoy seeing the All 22 this week to determine what happened in the Red Zone, but my eyes told me that play calling and lack of separation were his enemies yesterday.
  13. I was getting frustrated with the lack of holding calls, but I watched three games yesterday and it was consistent throughout. The league must be trying to get scoring up by telling the refs to call less holding.
  14. Discipline. Clappy is going to have to get angry.
  15. Best defensive series in a while
  16. Not a true stat...but feels like it.
  17. As much as I hate seeing Roberts used in the passing game, I love him as a returner.
  18. To do that, you need a strong pass rush. Not sure that’s a possibility.
  19. So. Developing a kicker may just be an answer. Not needing one to repeatedly kick 40+ yarders is more likely THE answer.
  20. He’s fine. Already came back.
  21. He may be, but hesitation from a QB happens when you drop a ball right placed right in the bread basket.
  22. Bass is the first half MVP....even with the miss
