I agree with your assessment but I think they should do what Seattle did when they drafted Wilson. They thought they had the future with Flynn (I think that's who it was they signed) but yet they saw Wilson there in the 3rd. I just don't want the Bills to see their franchise QB in only 7 games. I hope Peterman takes it and runs with it but the scars run deep.

Sunday didn't really show gunslinger rather it showed someone that wasn't afraid to throw. Some were to tight windows but most were put in a spot where only his receivers could get it. I get soft zone coverage had to do with that but Taylor had same opportunities. I doubt they wanted him to fail. He was signed by the new regime so that would make no sense.

This is a better offense than that was. I think the scheme is so out of whack from who Taylor is that the only way to fix the offense is to give it to someone who is made for this offense.

I'd rather people laugh than do nothing and fail because the coaching staff is afraid to take risks. I want to see what Peterman can do, we already know what Taylor is We will have time to assess what he can do the next few weeks.

I would feel sad if we couldn't beat Miami. That would show how much this team fell from a 5-2 start. You will lose the locker room at that point. I do feel like we have a lot on the uptick. Just look at the Eagles last year, I feel like we are on the same trajectory.

I don't see anyway Tyrod gets the job for 2018 based on what his ability to read a defense is. The fact that he is not running at all in games shows how little they care about his skillset.

I am not sure DL is what they need, I would rather a LB that can play. Either way our defense will improve when they are not on the field for 42 minutes a game.

If the Bills FO is wise Peterman will either be a Frank Reich or a Tom Brady. I'm good with either but I have to trust that if they don't get a 1st round QB they know Peterman has the skills to excel in this league. I'm not sure they don't start Peterman the rest of the year if he gives the best chance of winning.

That's a good argument but we all know ebbs and flows of the season dictate. The only reason they went anywhere that season was Brees and what you are witnessing is a defense that can't make plays because they are constantly on the field. The game really got out of hand because the offense wasn't able to sustain and the defense got tired. If the Bills were down 21-14 would the defense be so tired. Tyrod other than the first drive looked horrid and it snowballed from there.

The best I can tell is they are grooming Peterman or they honestly believe Taylor gives them the best chance to win. One thing we don't know is what the coaches know, that being how ready is Peterman to take the pressure of starting.

Ok so I'll play. Saints were 20th in team defense that year we are 15th so far. Saints were 3rd in turnovers, Bills are first.

Is this McDerm's defense or Fraziers, it makes a big defense.

Their defense the Super Bowl year was bad. I don't disagree defense needs to be better but let's not pretend we have a QB that will do anything short of us having the 2000 Ravens defense.

I am not quite sure the difference between DT and DE as far as talent.... There are vets, undrafteds and first rounders on both positions. Neither has been particularly strong but the difference is the DTs are not counted on for putting pressure on the QB in this defense. I am curious if McDerm will get tired of watching Frazier's scheme, he has to take some of the blame. I can understand a couple of players underperforming but as much as they were all gelling as a defense at the beginning of the season they have been not working together at all the past two games, wonder if it has to do with the voice in the defensive room or just they are not good.

I was when they were 5-2, are these guys different. You can say we lost Dareus but he missed a few games and was rotational for the rest of them. The DTs are tired and need help. The embarrassment was the LBs. Not one shot the gaps and everyone was tackling behind them. Could the DTs done more sure but they weren't the big issue This defense wasn't about interior pressure, remember this is Frazier's defense not McDerm's. Why exactly are the DEs not held accountable for pass rush?

I'm not sure I agree with the assertion that Peterman wouldn't have done anything more than Taylor in the first 58 minutes. Taylor has a skillset that hasn't been utilized much this year. Peterman we will find out is a better passing QB but if Taylor is allowed or willing to create with his legs then he becomes the superior one, too bad that hasn't happened with the game in doubt the last two weeks.

No never said anything about the run defense rather the DTs will be fine, not right after the last two games but name a player that shined the last two weeks. I don't think these two games you can learn about any player right now.
