A big thank you for everyone that makes this site what it is. I was bummed when the old BBMB went down but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because this forum is a huge upgrade. Thanks for taking this refugee in!

When you think about what we gave up and what we could have had in Rodgers if we had just waited a year. The biggest whiff to me was Losman.

I actually loved the signing when we brought him in. He had respectable numbers andit at least generated some excitement during the wilderness period of the drought years. I would have liked to have kept him but I believe him and Nix had a history dating back to college which dashed any hopes of another contract in Buffalo when he took the reigns as GM.

I also remember being bummed about the Jauron hire. For me he was the face of the drought era.

I did back in 2010, I had an absolute blast the night before in Green Bay which meant I had a bit of a hangover the next day at Lambeau. It was still an amazing time though even though the Bills got destroyed. It was also Trent Edwards last game as a Bill.

I remember being particularly mad about the Whitner pick. It seriously came out of left field taking him at 8 when Ngata was on the board.

Not a bad location for the draft. Hope they bring it back to Chicago one of these days. It was a really great time in Grant Park.

Just out of curiosity I looked up Gale Gilbert on Wikipedia and apparently he plead guilty to sexual assurance before signing with the Bills. I just find it interesting because you would think this would not fall under the Marv character guidelines.

I do remember that back in 1998, if I recall correctly didn’t Ralph put threating ads in the Buffalo News saying “The Houston Bills” (they were without a team at the time) trying to get all of the luxury seats sold.

I haven’t listened to those guys in more than a decade. I never really had a problem with the unpopular opinions they may or may not have had. My issue was they would not talk about sports enough. Entire segments and somtimes entire shows dedicated to non-sports related nonsense. This on a station that billed itself as “all sports all the time”. Maybe they have change in that time but I doubt it.

I am going to go with grading immediately, both are dumb though. Having said that I always look at both mock drafts and draft grades. I think the reason is I am kind of dumb.
