That game was sickening. It started with that idiotic call and got even worse with a pass interference call on a hail mary.

Yikes you could make an argument that the Steelers season came to an end because an official blew his whistle too soon in the first half.

Pretty bonkers that two years in a row a team’s playoff life comes down to a game in Baltimore.

Glancing at the standings it doesn’t even look like today’s win caused us to slide all that much. I think maybe 2 spots.

The game was also blacked out and I am glad that rule is gone even though it doesn’t effect me anymore since I live in Chicago and have the Sunday ticket.

Ive watched thousands of hockey games and don’t have a clue how the D plays, zone or take a man, and nobody can answer, I guess they just freelance. Makes sense when a man in a blood red Detroit jersey can stand in the slot for 15 seconds with nobody seeing him till he scores
Honestly just to make watching the game a little more enjoyable if I know more of what I am looking at. The same actually goes for hockey I know the sport but I think I could enjoy it more if I understood the strategy behind it.

Thank you for making this thread. I am in the same boat. I have been watching this game for 30 years and I still have a novices understanding of the X and O elements. I always thought it was kind of funny that I don’t know more about the game than I do.

I am going to root for a win during the game but if we lose I am going to be pretty happy if it helped us get into a better draft position.

I know he has proven himself to be good coach but I have always thought he was a dope since the time he tried to fight Kelly and broke his hand.

I hope you are right. I guess I am just frustrated with feeling like I have watched the same game against this team for the last 18 years (with the exception of I think 3 games).

By the way I agree with a lot of what you say. Even with Brady on the downside though he is still one of the better quarterbacks in the league sadly.

The system did work in the Chargers favor though back in 2008 when they went 8-8 and were the 4th seed and the Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs. Because it was the Pats I never complained about it though.
