I actually wish Donahoe had done that in 2004.

It seemed he was decent at drafting but that trade we made for Rob Johnson after I believe he had only played one game. Giving up the 9th overall pick and a 4th then signing him to a massive contract. It can be argued that move set things in moition for the drought era to begin a couple years later.

“Raw talent” heard that one a lot when we drafted EJ Manuel.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha did a double take I thought it was for the 5th pick.

Kind of appalling the way most of the media frame this so called discussion on guns. The way many make it seem is if you support gun rights or the second amendment you are on the same level of a mass murderer. Not a conversation I want to be a part of.

It actually makes sense what OJ is saying about Ralph. Sports owners from the early days of the major professional leagues ran the teams like a business because the team was the major source of income and the teams could rarely lose money and maintain operation. Ralph being in a smaller market and coming from that mentality probably did run the team like a business. It wasn't until bigger TV and radio deals emerged that teams were sold to people who made millions and eventually billions in other businesses and basically those owners basically ran those teams like toys devoid of year to year losses for the most part.
Modern ownership groups are 1-2 billionaires and a bunch of millionaire minority investors who run the teams as a long-term investment (Where the value of the team when sold again is where the money is made not the year to year operations) or once again it is a billionaire who cashed out on another business and is now having fun. Older sports owners cared about the bottom line, they had to make money that year, a loss revenue wise meant that the owner's personal finances could be in jeopardy. Ralph seemingly was cut from that grain of sports ownership.
That is an excellent point possibly without Ralph’s shrewdness and business sense there would not be an AFL-NFL merger let alone a Bills team today.

OJ seems like an honest guy
Hahahahahahaha I thought the same thing but at this point I think he doesn’t have many reasons to lie about his experience with the Bills organization nearly 50 years ago.

I know he is an infamous figure but he does give some insights into Ralph in the 60’s and 70’s in his first interview since getting out of prison. The qoute where he says Ralph declared he didn’t want a championship that would mean giving all the players a raise is believable.

I think we will be fine. If not this would be the worst snub in NCAA history (I am a little bias as a Bona alumn though)

The lock out of 2011 was a rare occasion of a labor dispute actually improving the league. Ending these ridiculous rookie contracts and creating a wage scale was very important. Aaron Maybin’s holdout amd subsequent contract comes to mind.

Ole Incarcerated Bob (or Inaccurate Bob as I like to call him) said that the Bills were the team that offered a 2nd for Foles.

Is it just me or has this show just meandered the last few seasons. I don’t even care how this war with Negan turns out I just want them to get on with a new storyline already.

The good news here is no one was physically harmed and he can now hopefully get some help.

Louisville just vacated 2013 title and 2012 Final 4
Anyone that won money on these two brackets needs to do the right thing and give it back.

Marv was pretty much a figure head GM that functioned as an advisor. The only major decision he made primarily on his own was hiring Jauron. It kind of explains why they didn’t even bother filling the role once he stepped down just bizarrely making Russ Brandon the de facto GM.

I remember on the old official Bills message board I posted I made a post about giving up alcohol for lent and it got closed and I was warned for talking about religion which I really wasn’t per se. Refreshing to be here at TBD finally. Any ways I am going to try and give up sweets this year as booze is way to boring!

I always do super bowl
squares so the monetary interest keeps me watching when I hate both teams which is usually the case.

I don’t agree with him worldview wise but I still think he is an incredible broadcaster and NBC loses out without him on the air. Having said that I never watch the pregame/postgame stuff anyways.

For some reason I enjoy reading these in the same manner that I read a fortune cookie or a horoscope.
