  1. I don't know Tyrod I just speak on his inability to be a good qb for the Bills. That's not saying I don't like him. There are some great athletes I don't like because of their arrogance like OBJ. I like Tyrod and I even liked EJ because of their approach to the game and Their attitudes. However if they're not good qb's what's wrong with speaking on it? So if I say he's good then I like him?
  2. I'm really not concerned with other teams. However the qb situation for the Bills have been outright embarrassing. And there have been quite a few misses along the way. As bad as the Browns have been their luck have been better then the Bills. The Bills have the longest drought in the league. Since Jim Kelly and Doug Flutie look what the Bills been getting at QB, compared to what they could've had. I just would like to see changes.
  3. I don't know yet. I'll figure something out. I'll get back to you on that.
  4. I want anybody that line up under center for the Bills to be successful regardless of who it is. With the kind of running game Tyrod has had at his disposal and with the amount of time he's been in the league is it wrong to expect more from him? I understand all of the responses both negative and positive. Just understand I want more from my team. I'm not on the rebuild excuse, new coaching staff excuse, new scheme and playbook excuse. I just want more for my team for a change. These excuses have been going on now for over 17yrs. That's far to long. Why are we the only team that accepts mediocrity and then make excuses for it?
  5. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0684044527173900519-4 I can't wait to hear news that he's actually sharper in practice. I saw another update saying that him and Sammy are having a hard time connecting and I saw another one saying he wasn't to sharp. I hope this is just early season jitters. Please let it be.
  6. Everytime a article come out about Watkins they always state that he's on the verge of being a bust or a disappointment due to injuries. That's not a fair assessment at all. Don't forget the coaching, multiple coordinators and not so good qb play. A lot of fans really became enamored by the so called second half of the season and truly believed that Tyrod and Sammy were on their way to something great for time to come. However when you really evaluate that surge that Sammy had you will see that it was Sammy's ability to make huge plays and gain chunks of yards when giving the opportunity. Prime example was the Houston game I believe he had 2 catches for over 100yds. He should've been targeted more. The KC game he gained huge yards the 1st half and was only targeted 1 time in the 2nd half. So regardless of what people want to believe Sammy and Tyrod really didn't have the connection some want to believe. The only game they seemed to be on the same page was the Jets game. What made things seem like they were going in the right direction was the yards that Sammy gained. He still didn't have enough targets to be a number one. That's why if I'm the Bills all I'm looking for is a healthy Sammy. If Sammy and Tyrod can connect on a consistent basis then so be it. However if not then everyone should know it's not because of Sammy. I just would hate to see him stay healthy all year but due to bad qb play he get judged by poor numbers. Overall Sammy should have more targets along with more yards because he is that explosive. OBJ started 5 games more then Sammy and look at his numbers. I saw a list with the receivers that came out the same year as Sammy and when you look at the yards he's still not that far off from them. It's the receptions that is the issue. And when you look at the amount of games, he's not that far off either. So injury isn't the only issue that's holding Sammy back. I think it's minor compared to qb play. With his abilities he could have done way more in lesser time he's that kind of good
  7. Especially on the defensive side. These guys are going to be playing very fast and attacking like crazy. This approach fits their skill set. This is they way they should've been playing the past couple of years. I'm excited to see Shaq, and Hughes on the outside with Kyle and Dareus bullying their way up the middle. Rushed throws and scrambling qb's will be the common theme. The secondary will benefit greatly from this. All the Bills need is for Tyrod to improve in the areas he lack in and this is definitely a playoff team. However my biggest question mark is qb, and I'm a little concerned about drives not being sustained, and receivers not getting opportunities even after creating seperation. I'm just hoping this coaching staff can help Tyrod take the next step and become a complete qb. He need to take what the defense gives, only run when necessary, and show defenses that he can use the entire field, and pocket awareness and pocket patience. However overall this team is more complete then they're given credit for, especially on the defensive side. The defense just may have to carry the team a little more but with their personnel I don't see why people wouldn't think they couldn't do it. That defensive line is going to be scary and anybody can quote me on that. They'll be amongst the best if not the best.
  8. You do know you're not obligated to respond to it?
  9. It's possible that the person never been arrested before and in that situation all they can go off of is verbal info. Had he been arrested there would be no way for him to use someone else's name. His fingerprints would've brought up his picture and prior arrest info along with current or previous addresses
  10. I respectfully disagree. Not only was he underrated he was also under appreciated. Also you have to remember the D line he had. He was the only one with double digit sacks. When he would put up those numbers the next person under him in sacks would have like 3 to 4 sacks. You also have to remember the offense didn't make it better. He rarely played having a lead which make other teams one dimensional. There was a lot going against him and he still put up decent numbers.
  11. I will take you up on that. This will be my 5th yr in a row making a Bills home game. I will definitely say the Bills have the best fans in the world. My family love the atmosphere and the hospitality afforded to us every time we come. Never once have I had a bad experience. It's like everybody at the Ralph is color blind. I love it and the people there.
  12. Apology accepted would just like to move on. Situations like this is the reason why it's hard to come together as one and live our lives without constantly degrading one another. That's why I can't stand all of these slave movies and history remakes that keep popping up over the past couple of years. Its like somebody want to keep picking at the wound and not letting it heal. There's a movie coming out called Detroit I think. To me right now it serves no purpose. If anything it will cause a further divide. That's why I'm saying let's move on and get ready to support our Bills. Thanks and God bless.
  13. To your question. I don't see anything wrong with them wanting them to be identified with the only description they're familiar with. Either way is good with me. I think they just don't hear the term African American as commonly as our generation did. What I wish people would realize is that nobody have a say in the matter as far as what race, or color they are going to be born into. And if we did have a choice we would still be a diverse group of people anyway. My skin don't say anything about who I am. For the most part when I speak I speak with respect, when I get to know exactly who a person is then I speak from within. I will always be that way.
  14. That's cool. All are not bad. It's about giving people a chance to show you who they really are. Blacks have the tendency to think that every white person they come across don't like them because of their skin color and that's far from the case. Everytime me and my family visit Buffalo we enjoy not only the game but the hospitality extended to us by people of all race. I'll be there this year for the Broncos game.
  15. I saw a game and the first person I noticed was Rob Riddick. Just from a few runs I thought he was the greatest rb ever. So in order to confirm what I believed I had to start paying more attention to the Bills. So I became a fan.
  16. Exactly. Even when I was pulled over I didn't exactly know how I would be treated. I noticed his Bills sticker and i struck up a convo and he was happy to respond and go down memory lane. I definitely don't want this to go where it look to be heading. Some people geesh.
  17. Being African American the common narrative is its never a normal course of business. And there are cases where there's no such thing as common interest. Not trying to race bait at all. Just not that common where I'm from for a white law enforcement officer to have a decent convo with a African American especially after pulling him over.
  18. Yeah but I don't go by color or race. Character is the only way for me.
  19. I drive trucks for a living. Today in PA I was about to enter interstate 81 and a DOT officer pulled me over. I noticed he had a Bills sticker on the computer he was using in his vehicle. As he's running the info I told him I'm also a Bills fan. He asked me what made me a Bills fan being from Jersey. I explained to him why and then he told me what made him a Bills fan being from PA. We went over so much as far as history, Sammy Watkins, Tyrod and all of our hopes. We talked so much that we were on the side of the highway and he didn't even want to go over my truck. I normally get agitated when I'm stopped by DOT, and all he was doing was his job. With all that's going on with law enforcement and the African American community I hope some people that rode by got to see that a relationship can develope and all it take is level heads and sometimes common grounds. This officer was very cool and I pray more are like him or he rub off on the ones that don't care to be like him somewhat. Overall being a Bills fan finally paid off as of late. And I hope and pray that law enforcement and all communities find a way to coexist and weed out the bad on both sides.
  20. If Tyrod is the guy I'm good with that. Just want to see this team finally be able to use the weapons they have. Hopefully this is the camp that will push every player to be at their best. Tyrod need to know that he will be looking over his shoulder. Don't know much about Yates, and I do believe he will be the odd man out. However from the videos of Peterman I like what I see. I can't wait until preseason to see this kod in game action. I think he will be the big surprise sometime this season. Still will support Tyrod though.
  21. Oh no remember athletes and celebrities altogether has to be held to a higher standard. They can be harassed, insulted, and even humiliated at times but they're not allowed to act human when enough is enough. Fans are allowed to do whatever and treat them any way they like. I thought you knew this by now.
  22. For real. I see some post talking about he need to focus on football. So talking anything other then football for a few minutes will take away your entire focus on the up coming 16 game season? I guess it's unheard of when athletes talk about anything else other then their profession. Watkins is the first athlete to ever do this I guess.
