  1. i'll bet you pick pepper out of flyshit, don't you?
  2. sorry, not going for your circular stupidity these days.
  3. oh boy... one step closer to UBI. you just know the other Dem states are going to follow suit. Gov. Whitmer expands unemployment benefits to self-employed, independent contractors and more LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced new programs for workers affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Under the federal CARES Act, Whitmer signed an agreement to implement Pandemic Unemployment Assistance and Compensation programs that give benefits to those who don't qualify for state unemployment benefits. Those include self-employed, 1099-independent contractors, gig and low-wage workers. The agreement also increases weekly benefits for all unemployed workers by $600 a week for up to six months and extends benefit payments from 26 to 39 weeks. ...
  4. TPS, just to be clear, not that i am anybody you should give twoshits about but, i value your opinion, probably more than you think. my contention regarding your post has absolutely nothing to do with past histrionics and everything to do with the content of that particular post. clearly, you invoked partisanship to submit. that aside, i will agree, you do tend to give certain concessions when you view things Trump does or has done to be agreeable to your senses. yet you do also portray a propensity towards, #orangemanbad. so there is an obvious bias. now with that said, yes, i admit i am not above partisanship and have a bias too. though i like to think that my bias trends more towards being anti stupid than anything else. and while you may not have noticed, i have backed away quite a bit from all the rancor that the elite instill via their divide and conquer dog and pony show that they are so adept at. for when it comes right down to it, i favor you and i over them and at a time such as this, it really is us that matters, ***** them and their bread and circuses. i will however reserve the right to point out stupidity where ever i encounter it and that is all i was doing with your post, please don't read anymore into it than that. and as a reciprocal, i would hope you would point out my stupidity when warranted as well.
  5. and it is my contention that you can not possibly know which is the least worst way. i hope you were not implying that i was being ridicules. i was merely trying to spark a critical thought process on the merits of both sides of the coin.
  6. with genomics being a relatively new science, the possibilities are exciting. however, much like the flu, this coronavirus is going to mutate. and since we really haven't been able to come up with a 'cure' for the flu, i am doubtful that one will arise for corona.
  7. you really didn't answer it, Bob. not a big deal but i did ask which would be worse and how you would know it for a fact, not which you prefer... which seems to be your response. carry on.
  8. we are so ***** if this goes national. society will not survive into June.
  9. lol. so... in your submission post, you act partisan. mmm kay.
  10. Consciousness leaking, again.
  11. i can't help but notice throughout our entire exchange, you have avoided the premise of my initial response to you. so i'll ask it again and see if i can elicit a direct response. is the cure going to be worse than the cause? with regard to your response to said question, how do you know it as a fact?
  12. please define your, 'flattening of the initial wave to a manageable level'. does it include current measures known as 'stay at home' mandates? are these measures to be implemented community wide, statewide, across the nation as a whole? how do we revive the economy? again, is your cure going to be worse than the cause? how do you know for a fact?
  13. sure. what your logic fails to account for, is the ramifications of an economic downturn. it is pretty well known that as the economy goes south, the death rates go up. this would then beg the question of, is the cure worse than the cause? if the coronavirus kills "x" here in the US, what is the mortality rate of the resulting economic consequences that are being implemented as the remedy? the one thing the cure is going to present, is a long term effect that is going to be hard to measure. can you say with complete confidence that the cure will not be worse than the cause? not saying your wrong but i'm also not saying your right, just that the complete picture is not as easy to paint as it seems you would like to imply.
  14. there is an equation that can get a pretty accurate guesstimate for total cases, both diagnosed and not. this is how they arrive at the seasonal flu numbers. however, those factors are not readily known and at best, would be wildly unreliable at the '100 cases' level.
  15. wild story, Levi. thanks for sharing. i'm sure many of us are aware that it is believed that we only utilize 5/10% of our brain power. additionally, we exist within what is known as the electromagnetic system, where light resides. of that system we perceive less than 1% (thought to be somewhere around 0.0035%) of it. this means that, essentially, we are unable to see 99% of the reality we reside in. while certain aspects of that spectrum do affect us physically (and perhaps mentally), we are almost oblivious to it in it's entirety. would it be reasonable to assume that there are things outside of our perception in the reality all around us?
  16. just stay 6 posts away from me and we'll be alright.
  17. i would be more concerned with the deep state trying to contain Russia than anything Russia might actually do.
  18. i don't know that Taiwan is anything to the West but a tool for their aims.
  19. like you, Jim, i tend to believe that there is a stream of human consciousness that connects us all. i also think that our individual consciousness has a conduit to the larger consciousness where we feed to and draw from. this conduit could possibly be termed and understood as the sub-conscious. i do think that there is a veil (for lack of a better descriptive) that prevents the cognitive perception of the larger "C" by us, the lower "c". i also think, for most of us, that as we age, the veil between the two grows to become almost impenetrable in what we perceive to be our daily waking lives. i do believe we are all able to access it with greater ease while we are young though and that some of us are able to pierce that veil and perceive the "C" while adults. there are countless instances in recorded history of people who have forecast the future. one thing that seems to be a constant in these future seers through, is the garbling of what it is they see. they may see/sense a picture of something, yet, when it comes to pass, there are many things that are different in actuality from what was seen. however, there are certain elements of the prediction that are unmistakably accurate. all of which lends to the theory that time is not linear but rather just is. if reincarnation is real and we extrapolate prescience out in a certain way, does this mean my next life could be in what we perceive as the past? have i already lived a future life?
  20. in some alternate universe where Htrae is i'm sure.
  21. i certainly don't proclaim to know exactly what is happening but i do know that #filmyourhospital is trending on Twitter. also, a 'war zone' would seem to imply chaos all around and if the main stream propagandists are to be believed, that war zone should be apparent on the streets outside of hospitals one would think. without meta data from the videos, there is no real way to know when they are filmed outside of possibly having a daily paper or some such in said videos for reference. which if they want a bit more credence, they would have some way to verify when they were taken. here is one inside the ER of King Couty hospital. https://twitter.com/DilleyShow/status/1243927903349293058 a respiratory ward? https://twitter.com/DigiByteMike/status/1244404922382274563
