What WRs? Jones a rookie who isn't ready at this level and special teams players. Matthews and Clay were the best WRs and they are out. He did fine with Matthews and Clay in three games. Better QBs have solid WRs yet TT who is average at best, is supposed to produce with a group that the better QBs couldn't produce with.

Change the scheme.

He did fine in the three wins with what he has. Who did he have last game to throw to?

Without Matthews, there aren't too many NFL QBs that could pull in 300 yards from this group.

Without Matthews, this is clearly the worst WR group in the NFL. Come on. With this reasoning, Dalton could do just as well with Tate replacing Green. I'll take that trade. If more solid QBs have far better WR corps, why does TT have to produce the same with a bad one, when TT is average at best? And with Watkins and Woods he actually had some nice numbers and points.

Throwing a rookie into this mess could be a disaster for him. With Matthews and Clay in the three wins, TT did ok. That's all we need with this defense.

The scheme mostly. Maybe lack of down field threat. McCoy is fine.

Had no problem running the ball the last two seasons. Tells me it's the scheme more than anything.

Except they put up a lot of points the last two seasons. 200 yards and points is fine with me. The problem is points-the run blocking is different and ineffective and yes, the bad WR play and TT play all go into it. He had three games where it worked. Two it did not. If you think most QBs would do well with this WR corp, I got news for you-they wouldn't. Not with Matthews out, Jones playing terrible, and special teams WRs filling in the gaps.

It's a milestone with this receiving corp. Hope Matthews is back.

Will Matthews be ready for TB? If the offense can average 20 points a game, with this defense, they can make the playoffs IMO. Esp with the remaining schedule. Some soft defenses.

The offense put up a lot of points the last two seasons. With this defense, we are a playoff team.

If the offense rarely turns the ball over, why can't the defense continue do the same. They play hard and have earned those turnovers.
