11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins 1st Half Game Thread

Knox just gave up on that play brother -
I understand the logic behind it, but I guess I just disagree. Future draft picks during the draft are high value currency. If the Dolphins feel like the 2026 draft class is superior (I don't see it but who knows) and want to move for a particular player that 2027 1st rounder is an untapped oil well to someone looking to move out of their pick. If they don't see anyone they want, then that 2027 pick is just going to increase in value as the 2027 draft approaches.

I'm honestly shocked that there was an expectation of Beane doing anything of value.

That's probably going to end up being the big miss. A 4th and 5th is nothing and you have the chance of letting him go at the end of the season if he doesn't work out. Pretty cheap trade for a team that is eyeing a SB run.

Coleman might be the worst receiver at getting YAC in history edit - 43 yards on 27 receptions, my god -

Coleman wasn't open, he was running a cross route into zone coverage. -

The Panthers just keep throwing the ball for no reason lol -
I'm surprised they haven't made a move on Anthony Richardson by now. I imagine that the Colts wouldn't be asking for much and it was obvious early on (two years ago) that Fields wasn't the guy. Maybe they were always planning on tanking this year.

The Athletic - some grim stats (new Tim Graham piece)

Nobody can beat Brady presnap. Mostly because of the cameras and cheating system though. -

I've seen a lot of posts about the injuries being the main reason the secondary looks so bad. Even if Hairston comes back and plays at a high level, it just doesn't solve the problems. Rapp and Bishop are legitimately awful. This safety combo is the worst I've seen since Donte Whifner, George Wilson, and Byran Scott. Honestly, I would probably take both Wilson and Scott over Rapp/Bishop. Will they even start Hamlin over these guys when he comes back? -
Still awful to listen to months later.

Extremely similar to the last play of the season against the Chiefs in the Conference round. The defense completely prepared for mesh. A corner blitzing free forcing Josh to bail out of the pocket early. The play call doesn't give Josh an outlet and the players on the field don't adjust their route.
-
I understand what you're saying and I mostly agree. But, Brady has insane issues with personnel decisions and play call tendencies. Beane could add prime Desean Jackson and Tyreek Hill tomorrow but Brady would still be giving Shavers playing time over them. Why? Because that's what he did with Diggs and is currently doing with Cook.

Which would makes sense if Ty Johnson wasn't on the field over him RUNNING ROUTES INSTEAD OF BLOCKING
