What do you call using (your own, no less) citizens as human shields and hiding military command centers in hospitals and schools? Not war crimes?
Is there a term worse than war crimes?
6 hours ago, ComradeKayAdams said:Um…ok….well, collective punishment is an official war crime. The total number of Hamas combatants was estimated at about 30,000 last year. The rest of the 2+ million affected Gazans had nothing to do with October 7 and were simply living their lives before Israel initiated the genocide. An overwhelming majority of Gazans never even voted for Hamas back in 2006. And even if they do support Hamas, that’s kind of like saying every American who supported the Bush Jr. administration during the second Iraq War and the Afghanistan War deserved death at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists.
No it's not. Horrible analogy. It would be the Israelites who support Netanyahu deserve death at the hands of Hamas.

California red pilled?
I'd love to see Schiff gone but the numbers just are in his favor based off the primaries.
He'll be close to at least 60% given Porter and Lee were Democrats.

Pathetic. Could they only afford a 10 foot ladder?

He's a reliable, rarely injured, and above average left tackle. Extend him as tackles don't grow on trees in today's NFL. I also wouldn't hesitate to at least gauge the temperature of what Spencer Brown is looking for in a future contract.

Jets need a backup for Rodgers. Now that would be the ultimate reality TV.

The NFL comp pick formula is very dumb in my opinion but the Bills at the very least got the third for Edmonds
It may be dumb but it's one of the few things that helps successful teams maintain their success. Everything else (draft order, schedule format, rookie wage scale) helps poorly run teams.

I don't care what Beane says at the presser. If he can save 4.9 million by cutting him he's going to do it.
Still don't care what Beane says at a presser.

Wish they threw in DJ Moore with the deal but at least we got something.

The written article in which this chart was pulled from reached the same conclusion as me (see below).
"2017-present, an era of offense
We are currently in an era where offense wins championships. All six of the last six Super Bowl champions had an offense ranked higher than defense, and that gap between rankings has increased in each of the last three years with the 2020 Buccaneers (offense +5 over defense), 2021 Rams (+8) and culminating with the 2022 Chiefs who were ranked #1 on offense and # 16 on defense. The average offense is ranked almost 6 spots higher than the average defense for a Super Bowl winner since 2017 (Offense 3.8, Defense 9.5). Five of the six last winners had a top 5 offense (2017 Eagles 3rd, 2018 Patriots 4th, 2019 Chiefs 5th, 2020 Bucs 3rd, and the 2022 Chiefs 1st). The only team not in the top five were the 2021 Rams, but their offense (7th) was still ranked 8 spots ahead of their defense."
Offense wins championships. Period. 😝
That was before the Chiefs said ef that and won it with the #15 ranked offense and the #2 ranked defense. Trends can change quickly.

That said, Brian Thomas Jr. would still be my first choice outside of Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze (who will be long gone).
I heard Odunze's teammates didn't go to his birthday party. This class is loaded. If there's ever a year to double dip at WR in the first three rounds this is it.

Okay, I want Worthy now.
He’s not a pure burner either, he’s a legit WR.
He reminds me a lot of Jameson Williams to my untrained naked eye. Minus the ACL tear. I'm more in the let's draft a true outside WR camp but it would be fun watching him catch all the WR screens Brady loves to call.

You said the the tops 3 scoring defenses. Just pulling the stats you mentioned, I didn't want to put words in your mouth. Also, 5 years is more than Zero last I checked, and we could look beyond that and more. Typically it's the offense that scores the winning points in Superbowls of recent memory. KC doesn't win without Mahomes or Kelce, they have won with sub par defense though. Clearly you're getting upset, so I'll bid you adieu on that note. Point stands. O > D. Offense is the way of the modern NFL, no matter how upset or how many WR1, WR2 scenarios you make up in your head.
If you look just at the Super Bowl winners PPG on offense and defense since the merger there really isn't any recognizable pattern besides it's rare that a team can win it without both units ranking in the top half of the league. The only conclusion I can draw from this is you should try and build as balanced of team as possible. Period.

He is not going to receive 25-30 million at age 31.
He might get $25m AAV for a two or three year deal. Just with the salary cap jump this year and there's a lot of WR needy teams with a lot of cap space (Panthers, Patriots, Texans, Cardinals, Titans, etc.).

In terms of veterans I lean towards DHop. I think he looked excellent last year and has a great salary of only around $13k (probably less than what Gabe will get). Trade a 4th to the Titans and rework the contract for an extra year at that range to overlap Diggs (we need insurance there).
I'd do that in a heartbeat. I make more than that.

He has a 4th round grade on him? I guess that's why he's a former scout.

Speculation that the Jets will be the ones going to London in 2024 to play the Jags. Notice the Jets vs Jags logo on the jumbotron. I just hope the Bills don't get one of the overseas games.
I thought it was announced already the Bills won’t be playing any International games next season.

Get a hobby man. There’s like 1000 draft simulations you can do on some website I’m sure.

Zeke Elliott if he’ll sign a one year three million dollar deal. Great in pass protection, short yardage situations, catching passes, and would be a great in the running back room. Still only 28.

If they trade him it’s only a 5.7m dead dollar cap hit. If they can’t find a partner it’s 11.1m dead dollar cap hit when they release him. Don’t let them off the hook.

I’m happy we have good grades, but the whole thing seems weird to me. I don’t understand how making this stuff public benefits anyone.
It forces owners not to be cheap. Lol.

He is still under contract.
What's the NFL's policy on a contract if a player who dies comes back to life? One of the plethora of reasons a player should always hire the best agent one can buy.

Quandre Diggs should be priority 1 in FA

I didn't watch many Seahawks games but most of their fans were happy to see him cut. I guess he had a horrible year as age caught up to him quick. His PFF grade for last season reflects that. There are better options.
