  1. Ha!!! Well played!!! And in my scouting days, Blaine Gabbert was my “can’t miss” prospect. I’m lucky I can even still access a combine these days...
  2. The world would be a better place if more people could swallow their pride and admit they made a mistake. Unfortunately, it’s been my (albeit limited) experience here that those that should, are too invested in their own pride (and partisanship) to honestly even care if they’re wrong. Boy, if that doesn’t define our country right now.
  3. I was a silent observer for roughly 6 months, before chiming in. I could not agree more that so much of what’s been shared has been incredible. I commend DR and every contributor on PPP. It took me seeing it to believe it, so I hold no ill will towards anyone who hasn’t themselves, and chooses otherwise. I wish this was something that garnered more open-mindedness, but my path in life has taught me those with power are well-embedded in their efforts to keep it. But I’m very happy to see what’s coming out, as it shows incredible validity in the “conspiracy theorists” that called foul 3 years ago. I happily ridiculed those then. Fortunately, I can’t unsee what I’ve seen so no going back from here! 🍻
  4. You’re entitled to your belief that there’s no direct link to the Obama administration. However the evidence that’s been revealed over the last 72 hours AT LEAST, shows otherwise. But again, read my post you quoted. It takes a willful approach to go beyond your own disdain for that which is outside your party. The number of people that are CHOOSING to read these revelations in pursuit of the truth is growing, not dwindling. Those that choose to skim because they can’t get past their own partisanship... Well... We’ll never agree unfortunately. My post you quoted tells you my honest perspective of how my own due diligence and what I’ve personally seen is the reason for my transition. The revelations in the last few days only affirm my choice (to me). I don’t know what more any person has to see before being at least concerned. But I know that Trump hatred has ABSOLUTELY been shown to outweigh sound judgement based off the facts. And rather argue or belabor each other’s stances, let’s just agree that neither of us are ready to agree. You for your reasons (unstated- and no need to divulge) and me for my reasons - stated with no need to dive any further.)
  5. The Democratic Party weaponized impeachment, while protecting their own from the crimes they accused President Trump of. It’s unreal.
  6. C Sec and Tibs have no interest in anything but persistent attempts to get you guys fired up. They’re both obvious conservative trolls. STOP FEEDING THEM!!!! 8. Discussion: You didn’t read the context of what either of these men said. You only pushed it towards your narrative. Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neil draw backlash for pushing back on Breonna Taylor outrage
  9. It’s raining cold hard facts. What’s been uncovered is impossible to ignore. The narrative now will shift to the words “manipulated reporting from Republicans”. I’ve already heard it this am. It’s both sad and sick the efforts taken to hide this from the American people under the guise of what they’ve done (and are still doing). This is more awful than the average American can even fathom. The worst part is so many Americans have allowed themselves to be so indoctrinated to hate Trump that they won’t read the actual content - but will claim they have. That is the state we live in.
  10. Or... All of the evidence that’s come to light that shows Obama was actually the first President in our nation’s history to not submit to a peaceful transition of power has emboldened Trump to let it be known that cheating will not go unchecked. Especially since Trump is up against part of Obama’s regime and he knows what they’re capable of. I never would have imagined seeing anything close to what I’ve read the last week, as evidence of the previous administration‘s corruption (that I voted for). When I was making fun of what I thought was Trump’s ridiculous and outlandish accusations of a coup, being wire tapped or his concerns with Ukraine. Yet here I am picking my jaw off the floor. I’ve seen in person what the media has told us isn’t happening in the Pacific NW. I’ve read the preliminary findings and reviewed the content myself. I’ve revisited all of Trump’s earliest accusations against the former administration (much to my disgust). Lastly, I’m taking personal inventory of my employer and her affiliations and weighing them against the internal communications (What I’m told) and external (what you are told). There’s so much more I honestly wish I can share but we live in a time where I can’t. People like never before are blinded by their partisanship. It takes a tremendous amount of maturity and guts to step away from those you trust and review for yourself the facts. Not the facts presented by a biased media, but the facts that aren’t shared for specific reasons. I’m telling you as plainly as I can say it (without a shred of disrespect or indecency), I was wrong about my previous assumptions. What’s to come is already being braced for. Counter measures are frantically being played out. There’s so much intentional disinformation being levied it’s sickening. You don’t have to believe me for a second, but it’s important you know that I was you 6 months ago and the place I’m coming from today is urgently telling others to “at least” review the content for yourself. Your employment may not take you where mine has (allowing me to see it first-hand), but if you remove your affiliations to everything but truth (including what you think you know about Trump), I trust you’ll find a very different view of the Democratic Party, just as I have.
  11. You make a point that in my opinion, is WAY too easily ignored by those who are standing for justice, while completely pretending/ignoring unspeakable acts committed by their largest sponsor. What’s happening in China right now, between the true-to-life concentration camps and the slave labor is beyond reprehensible. It’s disgusting.
  12. Mark Jones of ESPN. https://mobile.twitter.com/MarkJonesESPN/status/1308848364256100356?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1308848364256100356|twgr^share_3&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.foxnews.com%2Fmedia%2Fespn-mark-jones-twitter-police-breonna-taylor
  13. Totally fair point. Im in the camp that knows something is off with them and their affiliations with the NFL and NBA. I believe Kim Klacek said it best. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/kimberly-klacik-baltimore-black-lives-matter-organization
  14. Agreed. They’re instigators. They take the broken, mentally unstable and lost and give them a cause. They pay them in hopes they’ll become a martyr. That’s what this seems to be about. Getting these kids who have no idea what they’re getting themselves into, close enough to the flame. A pawn never knows how disposable they truly are when measured against the greater objective - winning.
  15. Look at his history going back to when he joined. You’ll see tremendous comedy in who he pretends to be now. Tibs too.
  16. I think GG is saying you nailed C Section in that single comment. Perfectly stated. He IS a liar. The worst kind.
  17. What’s amazing about his post is he sums up extreme liberal logic and forced conclusions perfectly, for everyone to see. C Section has no agenda, neither does Tibs, outside of goading. I’ve seen enough to honestly believe that they are truly both conservatives that come to a football site to spam, troll and instigate. You need only go through a poster’s history to learn the truth about them. I did that well-before ever sharing, which is why I used to entertain them. Want to hear something REALLY amazing? C Section has a few ancient posts where he talked football. He talks about former Bills players in those conversations. What he doesn’t realize is how respected his president is to the players he references. How Jim Kelly would be in a VERY different circumstance if not for Donald Trump’s help. Or how The Buffalo Bills would be a Toronto team if Trump didn’t bid, drive up their price and influence the Pegulas in their need to purchase. Oh the things the average fan doesn’t know. Oh, and C Section also has unknowingly mentioned me (flatteringly) by my real name in his posting history before he became a lunatic. He has no idea how humorous that is to me. He hates me as a poster, but apparently loves me in real life. It goes to show you truly never know who’s typing behind the keyboard. He’s not at all what he pretends to be. Not even close.
  18. I really don’t know and don’t want to share based on speculation. I never want to be “that guy” that starts rumor-driven thinking because I can’t say for sure it’s truthful. I don’t want to speak with an authority I just don’t have. I’m like everyone else... Curious based off personal observations.
  19. That’s truly unfortunate, but it’s not at all truthful. BLM is a full-fledged organization with a 501c3 and all. TheirEIN is 47-4143254. That’s not for a wesbsite - PS I know you know that, it’s just astounding how quickly people spread falsities without a simple search. Who’s behind the organization is a debatable topic (meaning I have no clue myself beyond suspicion).
  20. Lebron’s quote: “I’ve never in my 35 years ever condoned violence. Never have. But I also know what’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong,” James told reporters. “I grew up in the inner city in a Black community in what we call the hood or the ghetto. [...] I’ve seen a lot of accounts firsthand of a lot of Black people being racially profiled because of our color. And I’ve seen it throughout my whole life. But when you see the videos that’s going on and you can see all over the—not only my hometown but all over America—you continue to see the acts of violence toward my kind, I can’t do nothing but to speak about it and see the common denominator. “But not one time have I ever said, ‘Let’s act violent toward cops.’ I just said that what’s going on in our community is not OK, and we fear for that, and we fear for our lives. It’s something that we go on every single day as a Black man and a Black woman and a Black kid, a Black girl. We fear. We fear that.” Lebron comes from a place I can never fully know, with my being white. I immensely appreciated his message above. It needed to be said. But as a former coach, I’ve seen the issues he’s talking about with my young players and know they exist. My wish for LeBron though is that he forgoes that powerful and sometimes very justified anger and remembers his faith. There’s a tremendous solution here and it was called out by a former NFL player a few weeks ago in a sidebar conversation. The player said, “I’d love to see LeBron take a page out of shaq’s playbook and join a police force. Take the training and identify the gaps that police officers might not be able to see from their perspective. That’s using your platform for real change.” I love that idea and concept. I hope something like that lies ahead in this young man’s future, because it’s a game changer. It over-extends beyond rhetoric and delves directly into action.
  21. I made a previous comment (now deleted) about conversations that I’ve been fortunate to be a part of with a few ex-coaches and players, regarding the social justice issues happening in the country and their honest takes/ reactions away from the cameras. I realized that there wasn’t a thread to discuss these takes openly. Im blessed to do what I do, especially in today’s social climate where oars are expected to row in the same direction, always. I’ve never been “that guy”, but I keep my opinions private (beyond forums) unless a conversation dictates otherwise. There’s a side of the sports industry that is hidden from fans. Fans typically see what the NFL wants them to see and really, no more. It’s not scripted per say, but like any corporation, there’s ABSOLUTELY a company line to tow. This is why so many individuals venture out to message boards (like this) to exercise their freedom of speech where said speech would otherwise be frowned upon. When coaches, players and personnel get candid and speak openly when the cameras are off though, there’s magic there. You start to see that VERY FEW agree with what’s transpiring in the league. More shocking however, is there is a growing disdain for the organization “BLM”, among these individuals, many of which are Black. I expect more and more individuals to step forward boldly to condemn openly, what they’ve shared privately. I’d like to share these thoughts, tweets and posts from EVERY perspective, including those that are VERY much pro BLM the organization. Remember, this is about BLM the organization. I shouldn’t have to say this, but in today’s climate, it needs to be said... I oppose this organization for reasons similar to what MW shared below. But I welcome any and all conversations and shared posts. Marcellus Wiley. - I love MW. He’s a friend and just one of the all around most fun, outgoing and kind people you’ll meet. I think he’s dead on here. Again, my opinion. But I’m of the camp that if an organization puts together a mission statement that shows you who they are and what they believe, you should BELIEVE THEM. https://mobile.twitter.com/marcelluswiley/status/1308215134679044096
  22. Unfortunately, there are no winners here. Truly unfortunate. The facts will be ignored (as will the fact a jury made this decision) and Ms Taylor’s family will have to live without her and without feeling as though they received justice. Just awful. No winners. Also, Ms Taylor’s tragic death will be used by a liberal media that truly doesn’t care. She deserved and still deserves better. RIP Breonna.
  23. Obi Wan? Now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time. A long time.
