I don't really think the defense is the problem right now. They've only really had one bad game (Ravens) other than that they've allowed 21, 10, 10, and 23 points across the other four games. And that's with guys like Bernard, T. Johnson, Oliver, and Milano on the sidelines.
Sometimes they seem to allow the opposing offense to get off to a fast start but they eventually lock in and put a lid on things. Thru the second half in Houston they allowed only six points and forced two turnovers. Offense could only muster a frickin' field goal off those turnovers.

Who's "we?" You got a turd in your pocket?

Me. And I was wide open, dang it.

Up until like 2021 or 2022 this team was good for at least one blowout loss every year since McDermott took over. They typically respond pretty well in the next game. It definitely seems like they just went in with the wrong game plans and it bit them. It did feel like they were gonna get back in it up until the flea flicker disaster.
Ah well. Shtuff happens. They'll be alright.

Ugh. I mean, I know he's not the guy he once was but he's looked solid this year.
Don't be a weenus, Von.

Thank you, Brandon for selecting the "right" Josh. This would be a hellhole to deal with if you take one #1 overall that has to be benched so quickly.
Haha, if this is 2018 draft all over again many of us, myself included, thought the "right" Josh was Rosen since he was being seen as more pro-ready. I'm so happy we were wrong and Allen is the guy. I kinda got the same feeling this year when they drafted Coleman. "Eh, not sure he's gonna be what they expect." I'll be psyched to be wrong on that one too lol.

When I was a kid I kinda always thought Natrone Means (Business!) was a cool player. Probably the name lol.

Bummer. Hopefully it isn't too bad and he can recover quickly. Looks like Buffalo Joe gonna be active going forward.
Honestly, aside from getting lost in the shuffle on Miami's one TD, Spector wasn't too bad.
And the fact that guys like Ingram and Lewis have been able to step in and this defense barely misses a beat is really something. Criticize McDermott all you want but the dude could probably take eleven of us schlubs on this forum and produce a middle of the pack defense lol.

I'm too poor to donate. Hope he recovers. He definitely has a lot to think about.

Duh’Rick Rogers did not make the 53.
Fellow camp legend Brandon Reilly was also cut. Dezmin Lewis too. Ope, there goes Kolby Listenbee.

Dang it. What a bummer for the dude. From what I gathered it seems like the rehab process from his leg fracture was pretty stressful. He gets past all of that, slowly works his way back up to full speed in practices, gets thru camp, and then bam, exploding bicep. I heard there were chunks of Italian Stallion bicep all over da field, new guy's in the corner puking his guts out, BLAARRRGGH!!
Nah, I digress. They're a different defense when he's in there. They'll find a way as they always seem to do but I was definitely looking forward to seeing him and Bernard work together. I know Dorian is next man up. He certainly has the athleticism, I think he just needs to control his speed a little more as he sometimes runs himself out of plays. I wonder if they'll look to sign anyone.

I love this moment. But many people can have a moment.
2019 you could tell something special was brewing and he had a lot of moments. But, 2020 is the year where he became dominant and elite. Heck, many can even have a year.
That said, he has been dominant and elite ever since 2020.
Go Bills!
You could see it during his rookie year that he just had something special to him. It wasn't always pretty but there were a number of moments that really made me sit back and go, "Man, they might really have something in this kid." And that's after going thru nearly 20 years of subpar QB play so I was definitely trying to temper my expectations but I remember feeling genuinely excited and I hadn't really got that vibe with any other QBs they'd tried.
One of my favorite moments from his rookie season was the Jags game. I'm not sure but I think it may have been his first game back from the injury. And it's still one of my all-time favorite throws of his, and it's the rocket he launched to Robert Foster for a 75 yard TD as the pocket around him collapsed. I thought for sure it was gonna be a sack. Then suddenly you see the ball come flying out of that swarm of humanity and it finds Foster 50-some yards down the field and he trucks it the rest of the way for the score. I also recall he ran over a Jags defender or two (or three or four) on a scramble for a TD and came up flexing lol. This was the infamous "he trash" game, comments courtesy of Jalen Ramsey.
The dude has always had it. Credit to Beane and McDermott for installing the framework and structure that helped him succeed.

"Everyone eats" has been the offense's motto this season so I'm not sure if we'll see anyone top 1k since they're gonna be spreading the ball around so much. I'll give it a shot anyway:
Kincaid: 80 receptions, 1050 yards, 7 TDs
Shakir: 70 receptions, 950 yards, 5 TDs
Samuel: 65 receptions, 800 yards, 5 TDs
Coleman: 60 receptions, 750 yards, 11 TDs
Knox: 40 receptions, 570 yards, 4 TDs
Hollins: 35 receptions, 500 yards, 3 TDs
Shavers: 30 receptions, 400 yards, 1 TD
I dunno.

It was similar to McDermott's, I don't have the quote right here and it was rather innocuous but something along the lines that there is a vibe of unselfishness permeating through the team.
Yeah, that seems to track with what some other guys have said, that there's just a more positive and relaxed vibe around the team. We know Diggs is "ultra competitive" but it sounds like he'd rely on that as an excuse to justify weenie-like behavior. That stuff only goes so far before people around you just get tired of it and feel like they have to walk on eggshells around you. Brady and Allen also don't have to worry about how to ensure he gets his ten targets per game or whatever.

First it was Kincaid, then Josh and now McD.
For those that just want to say "nothing to see here".
Okey dokey
I know Josh said he doesn't necessarily "miss" Diggs but he mentioned missing the production. I didn't see what Kincaid said tho, what was it?

I was driving into downtown and saw what I figured was a water spout over by the lake as I got closer to the Skyway. It was pretty dark, the wind was whipping and the rain was coming down in buckets.
That wasn't the most peculiar thing I saw today, tho. On my way back home I saw a pickup truck flipped over in a lot near the city mission. Didn't appear to be an accident or anything, just a truck on its face. Anyone else catch that? Wonder what happened.

Traffic was the worst cluster I've ever seen. Left house at 3, normally 30-45 min drive taking back roads. Once got to abbot was not moving. Had to get to southwestern lot 5 for ada lot. Just got to my seat. Still people on the roads for miles
I was driving home from picking up one of the squirts from preschool around 1:30p and the 90 heading towards OP was already getting pretty swamped.

Flat out exciting to hear this. If we're going to see a BETTER Josh Allen this season, well it is hard to understand what that will look like. 80% completion percentage?
He just seems really locked in, moreso than usual. I think that gives credence to the rumors that the friendship between him and Diggs went sour. It really felt like Allen, as well as the offense, kinda felt like they had to walk on eggshells around the guy. They had to gameplan where his 10 targets were gonna be and I think without that being factored in right now he just has more freedom in the offense. It's also been said he's taken more of a vocal leadership role and it just seems like he and Brady are really in sync with how to run this offense. I'm psyched for it. They have a really diverse group of offensive weapons and I think they're gonna surprise people.

I'm excited about this team. I think they can be great
There does seem to be a positive vibe about this team right now. It was a bummer to see some longtime Bills move on but that's the business. I'm excited for these new guys to make their marks. I think they have some really solid pieces.

The entire New York Jerks franchise.
Tombob Squareface
Kermit Mahomes...who apparently only knows one cadence and it goes "AAHH-BLOO AY-DEE, BLOO AY-DEE AHHUTHUT!!" Frogfaced SOB calls "Blue 80" more than Peyton Manning ever said "Omaha!"
We'll round out this jerk fiesta with Bob Gronkasnotski...and that smug weasel Joolian Diddleman.

Hasn't he lost like...all the steps to this point?
Dorian Williams was flying around on Sunday and seems like he's turned a corner. I'd rather stick with him. And for whatever it's worth, it seems like they're tinkering with the idea of moving Lewis Cine from safety to LB. Could be interesting.
