  1. JTs stuff is really good and he seems to be a pretty big fan of Josh. I liked his breakdown of the Eagles game last season, JT was just about shaking his head at the number of wicked throws from Josh in that one. Woulda been noice to come away with the W on that one.

  2. Depends how many times they call that shotgun jet sweep where all I'd have to do is pitch it forward half a yard to a skill player zooming thru. They count those as completions, ya know. I bet I could make like... probably...one out of 43 of those bad boys. And that's why I'm bound for the Hall.

  3. When I see posts like this, I have to ask, what exactly are your expectations? That he has a 100% success rate on every draft pick, contract, trade, and free agent signing?

It just seems trivial to complain about this stuff when the team has made six playoff runs with four division titles. He also kept those teams mostly intact for four years, teams typically have more turnover than that from year to year. Now here we are with an inevitable retooling of the roster and this is where you're at with it.

  4. Adding Samuel makes for a decent group. But there are still some question marks.

Can Diggs bounce back? Was he hurt, or was the offense in general just not always on the same page? Would having other, more dangerous options that Gabe open things up for Diggs? And then after this year I think his contract becomes more flexible. He's at an age where teams maybe start thinking about moving on. And I'm sure the idea of a solid young WR on a rookie deal is enticing for Beane.

Not all of those guys are gonna go in the first...but would any of them still be on the board when Bills pick at 60 in the second round? Beane has a bunch of mid-round picks he could wheel and deal if he wanted to go BPA in the first and then move around and grab his WR in the second.

Either way, I'm good with whatever direction they go.

  5. I trust Beane and his team to make good picks. For the last few years I haven't really had a preference on who they should take because I'm usually good with whatever direction they go.

However, this year seems to be a very ideal year to nab one of these top ranked receivers. Seems like a loaded class. And I'm sure they'd love to have two playmakers like Kincaid and a rookie WR on those cheaper rookie deals.

Let the rookie learn under Diggs and Samuel. Ramp up his workload as the season goes on and then if it all goes to plan I'd imagine they move on from Diggs in 2025. Not that I really want them to but it seems to make sense financially. Or I'm dumb and have misunderstood what I've read about his situation.

  6. Well, that's certainly a take. A dumb take, but a take nonetheless.

I'd venture to say at least 98% of each draft class isn't concerned about weather. They're all pretty psyched to be getting drafted. And it's not like every single game is a blizzard in the cities that get a lot of snow. Not until like November do you gotta worry about it being cold.

That said...shut yo mouf, Deion. He'd probably advocate for two hand touch or flag rules for the league since he was always so adverse to tackling.

Do we know what number he’s choosing?

Don't think it's been reported yet. He's been 10 and 4 in the pros and 4 in college as well. Cook has 4 and Shakir has 10. If he wanted a number with 4, Diggs has 14 but I think 84 is open. I bet he goes 0.

  8. Man, all I know is this age of information, while on one hand can be very useful but in the other can be downright mind-numbing. Seeing some of youse here analyzing and nitpicking every little thing this dude does on social media is a little nuts.

In the grand scheme of things, it's a game. And also in the grand scheme of things, his behavior isn't really that outlandish. Does it seem a little irritating and immature? Sure. But this whole, "Move on, eat the dead cap and be done" sentiment from some of you is a pile of hot diarrhea.

What's your alternative? Roll with Samuel, Shakir, Kincaid, Knox, and Shorter? Oh wait, we oughta wipe Knox off this list because his positional duties changed a lot last season and because he didn't post up 80 receptions for 1200 yards and 10 TDs he's a worthless bum with a god awful contract and blah blah blah. He did redo his deal so I guess he's alright now? I dunno.

So yeah, you can have the aforementioned group with a rookie and cross your fingers and hope for the best. I guarantee a Bills WR group sans Diggs is not as productive. And then the whole lot of you whining to trade Diggs now would be whining at the end of next season about the dip in production.

I've been a fan my whole life. Ages ago I was definitely guilty of some similar crappy thinking regarding the team. I dunno if I had an epiphany or what but after a certain point that type of discussion becomes friggin' exhausting.

I generally try not to get engaged in these types of discussions but sometimes that's all that people wanna talk about.

In my estimation, I'm gonna trust the group that's assembled and managed this team since 2017. They've sustained success and yeah it's a bummer to dip out in the second round of the playoffs but a bigger bummer is a nearly twenty year playoff drought.

  9. Guys, I spoke to my insider duck. He said, "quack quack whackadoodle crack sack" and then crapped all over my lawn. He also said Diggs made him sit in a different hotel room while he hung out with some other duck.

This duck is essentially George Washington, he cannot tell a lie.

He also can't tell me jack squat about Stefon Diggs but I digress.
