  1. At most I would assume they'd do a very small move, like how they leapfrogged Dallas last year for Kincaid. So maybe they jump from 28 to 26, maybe 24, somewhere in that range. But there's no way they're climbing into the top ten.

Got a lot of spots to fill this season so it's a good year to have eleven picks.  I might be wrong but I believe it's the largest number of picks they've had in the entire McBeane Era.

  2. Guys, it's gonna be okay. They've called me. I'm coming in straight off the couch. I can run at least half a route and I haven't broken my fingers on a football since the seventh grade. Prepare for greatness.

Can't Beane just go to the classified ads and get an even more used one?  Comes with 20 pairs of cleats? 🤔

  4. I've got some stuff. Nothing too crazy. The handful of Jim Kelly cards I got signed as a kid back when camp was in Fredonia are probably the most special to me.

I just cleaned out a room and found a football signed by a bunch of guys from the 2009 team. I also have a full sized helmet signed by Jairus Byrd. It's the red helmet they had just before the switch in 2011. Always wanted to get it done up in the white but for now it's just occupying a hook in a random closet.

I've got a bunch of mini helmets, all five Buffalo Bills Funko Pops they've made plus those Fisher Price Little People sets. On top of that is an always growing collection of Bills cards. Hobby boxes are ridiculously priced these days and even though it's fun to rip packs I just can't afford it. So I just pick up singles off eBay and such.

Also have a collection of hats I should sort thru. Used to buy the draft hat every year but for the last several years I haven't really dug the designs on those draft hats. The sideline gear that drops around camp time is usually pretty cool tho.

  5. I feel like he is a guy who plays da game of professional foosball for a living.

I dunno. It seems like they see something in him. Year one it took a while for him to adapt to the scheme and stuff. Then year two he was banged up so...tough to gauge, I guess.

He's had his moments for sure. But he's also had some not so great moments. I'd imagine if he doesn't turn the corner this season then they'll probably wanna move on. Hopefully he takes the leap and becomes whatever they think he can be.

  6. One of the OGs of the McDermott Era, been here since 2017. It's a bummer but it's the right move. Maybe he comes back this summer, who knows.

It's weird to think the secondary could be without Poyer as well as Hyde and White this season. That'd leave Dawkins and Milano as the only two players on the team since 2017.

  7. That's a negative, Ghost Rider.

That dude changes the whole defense. Offenses have to account for him. He's smart, fast, and always around the ball. He's a cornerstone player. Really wish he could've been back for the playoffs. He and Bernard make a really good pair. They might be a smidge undersized but they play big so that's all that matters.

  8. Don't we have enough concerns? I mean, Tyler Bass is still sitting in the corner. That's on me, tho. He can continue to think about what he did.

Groot might not rack up crazy numbers but he's typically pretty solid when he gets out there. Should hopefully continue to evolve. They'll be counting on him a lot this season.

You cant hit them all....but I think our hit rate is pretty damn good.

Right? No GM has a 100% success rate. Beane has been really good with the draft. I know you mentioned Elam as possible bust and I'd wager it's too early to definitively make that call. He's had some moments and he dealt with injuries this past season. Maybe there's still something there.

Up until last year when they took Kincaid, I was really beginning to think they just didn't value offensive prospects as much as defense. I still think they probably end up going somewhere on D in round one but seems like the WR group is a plus this year so I'd like to see Beane dip into it before round four.

Given your screen name I'mma assume you some kinda dental expert. So...what are you doing on this forum instead of dentisting?! There are teeth out there you need to service, pal!

Yeah no, it's ridonkulous some people genuinely believe these dudes need to be football 24/7. It's the off-season, let 'em play golf and have a break for cripes sake.

  11. Bah.

This season, the Chiefs were masters at taking advantage of mistakes made by their opponent. They weren't some invincible juggernaut. They are a beatable team. But you cannot make mistakes against them. Turn it over and give them extra chances and they're going to turn it into points.

That's the one thing I noticed during their playoff run this season. Every team made costly mistakes against them and while they made some of their own, they were able to overcome.

Can't turn it over, can't have drive killing penalties, can't miss on scoring opportunities.

    Really good interview.

My favorite play of his. It was an absolute laser beam that nearly went through Jake's hands. I mean, the ball carries the guys hands from one side of his body to the other. All the mustard on that one. Right behind that one is the moon ball he launched against Jacksonville his rookie year. Speaking of moon balls, I'm still upset Stef dropped that monster against KC. Josh launched it from his own 12, it reached Stef at the Chiefs 25. Ridonkulous.
