  1. Davis is a better overall receiver imo. He has the all time record for receiving yards in FBS, can run any route, has good size/speed, can go up and get it and make people miss. Him over Williams all day long.

I have a sneaky feeling McDermott wants a Luke Keuchly type of middle linebacker and may try to get him in this draft with our first round pick. Would be even better if he could move back and do that. We could probably get a starting WR and DB in the second and third rounds this year because it's so deep at those spots.

Corey Davis has to be the pick and there's no LB anywhere near Keuchly in this draft. We may have to pick Davis if for no other reason than Watkins injury insurance.

  2. The last 3 games (with Tyrod not counting EJ game)

This was with Sammy back and after clay had his child

    18 recs 210 yds and 4 tds

Avg 6 rec 70 td and 1+ TD

I can't figure Clay out. He finished decent last year and the previous year started out ok. Then he goes thru long stretches where he's hurt or not targeted. I could live with OJ or C Davis @ 10...or even Mahomes....

  3. WR - Corey Davis in the 1st or Zay Jones in the 2nd.

S - Any one of Hooker, Adams or Budda Baker.

CB - Lattimore in an instant. Moreau possible 2nd round value.

EDGE - Derek Barnett in the 1st, Ryan Anderson late day 2 value.

    DT - Malik McDowell

TE - George Kittle day 3 pick.

I too agree...all very good picks...still want a mid round qb...love to fit in Obi somewhere?
  4. Peterman doesn't look like a Doug Whaley QB.

I think he's a quality QB prospect who could be a better pro than he was a college player, but Whaley seems to like them 6'4 with top end athleticism.

Would love to get this guy in the 3rd round but I can't see Whaley picking him.

Good, Whaley's ability to evaluate qb's has been terrible. All the more reason to take him after the 3rd round.

  5. Drafting Peterman wouldn't bother me. Drafting Peterman in the second round would be a huge mistake. The Bills need to get guys that can start right away with their first 2-3 picks in the draft. I wouldn't even consider drafting him until the 4th round.

The problem is we don't have a 4th pick. That's exactly where I'd slot him.

  6. I think that you need both. Lorax is a situational pass rusher IMO. PB at SLB, Ragland at MLB. ZB at WLB. In McDermott's system it is imperative that you have speed at LB. if you can get ZB for $4M for example it is a no brainer IMO. That player will have A LOT of coverage responsibilities. Zach is a better fit in this defense than the system they played last year.

There are other options like trade a 5th or 6th for Kendricks. You can try to sign Gerald Hodges for cheap. There other options as well but Zach Brown is a really good fit in this defense.

Eric Kendricks for a 6th?...not in a million years would Minnesota do that...

  7. I couldn't agree more. If Corey Davis is there and we go in a different direction, it will be a huge mistake. Sammy is never guaranteed to be healthy. Holmes on a good day is a #4. Let's not kid ourselves. If this new coaching staff is committed to expanding the passing game and really seeing where we can go with Tyrod, then they have to get a legit #2. Davis would fit that role perfectly.
