  1. I'm sure that if we offer him a few million he'll come back for a week or two, maybe even catch a ball.

And he'll say he's fine feels great and is ready to go. This guy is nothing more than a common Thief. And this just further exemplifies how embarrassing the organization can be in signing somebody like this or Reggie Bush...

  2. As far as I'm concerned RT is every bit as important as LT. You're more than capable of being sacked from either side. Marquee DE's like JJ Watt move back and forth all the time. The idea of paying your LT more is nonsense. And don't give me the "blindside argument" either. I'd have no problem moving Glenn to RT and Kujo to LT if it improves the OLINE as a whole. It's not like we're asking Cordy to take a cut in pay.

  3.

    Sure, I get that.

I think Gunner encapsulated the conundrum rather well when he said that the crux of the issue is whether or not you're willing to take a 25% reduction in ability at LT to gain a 75% increase in ability at RT.

For me, with this QB and these RBs, I'm plenty willing to do that...mostly because I don't see a FA or draft pick solution that allows me to field an effective starter at RT.

  4. I've been a DTV customer since '95 -along with various cable services. I have absolutely nothing good to say about their programming, pricing, service nor sustainability in bad weather. I ONLY have it for Sunday Ticket to watch my Bills every week. Given that they haven't had a post-season since the 3rd year I got the pkg, cue DC Tom - I'm an idiot.

Thanks for the heads up, JJ!

Couldn't agree more. Hate everything about them yet it's the only way to see the Bills. If you prepay in February for the upcoming season you pay 24.99 x 8 payments. You basically have to go through this ridiculous yearly ritual of threatening to cancel to get any reductions. We're all slaves to DTV...

  5. The OL has the same guys as last year (plus Ducasse). If they sign Groy they have more depth. I'm certainly concerned about the secondary as they only have 2 surefire starters IMO (Hyde and Darby). If they draft well though they could EASILY be better at safety. They are thin at WR for sure but if they get a decent number 2 they can actually upgrade the position. It is scary now but may not be post draft.

8 wins...NFL purgatory...no shot at Darnold and Rosen is overrated...considering how rarely we'll throw the ball, Sammy, Clay and Corey Davis will be more than enough targets...

  6. Sorry for the snarky response

I think I would like to use the 10th pick on the best player available at a position of need.....which I think is going to end up being Clemson's Williams or Corey Davis

To me it is not about finding WR2....it is about finding WR 1A which I think eiher of those pass catcher's are. I am tired of getting into the season and not having quality wrs to throw to because of injury. I fully expect Sammy Watkins to be available to us BUT just in case we need a quality guy that we can lean on in the passing game.

Now before I get the responses of "Well TT doesnt use them anyway" I would actually like to SEE a season of starting pass catcher's on the field before saying he cant use them.

I dont want a corner at 10.....that is spinning our wheels and there are good ones through the whole draft

we are good ont he DL

taking a qb at 10 would not be taking best player available

there are no LB's worthy of the 10th pick

Yolo...that was my first thought as well

I agree this draft is way too deep at cb to burn your 1st pick. We need a quality wr to compliment Sammy. And it's not guaranteed Sammy plays all next year. I love Davis and see him as the 10 pick. Tyrod is signed and now will have the opportunity to improve. It's too bad we couldn't find a way of keeping Justin with Woods and Goodwin gone. Now wr is critical!

  7. I think Byrd will reunite with his father and the Bills for a discount. I also see Zach coming back for a little less than he was hoping for in FA. I'm praying we land Corey Davis @ 10 and Obi @ 44. And if by some Act of God Adoree fell to the 3rd round you run to the podium. I'm not saying anything of this will happen but a fan can dream. And if we had a 4th round pick I'd snag Nate Peterman. Still need RT, TE etc...

  8.

Think the plan is to have Cardale as #2 and Rookie as #3. All 3 guys on the 53 man roster like last year... I like Cardale but he needs another year or two at least, especially under a new system.

Lets hope Tyrod doesn't go down next year because it could get ugly.

How ugly? 2-14 ugly? Sam Darnold ugly?...not the worst scenario.

  9. I like the depth singings, its bodies that can catch the ball, works well for #4 and #5 WR's

    But lets's be honest

Its not like any of these guys are legit NFL #3 and up WR's

We still currently have one of the worst WR corps in the NFL

And its not any upgrade over last years talent

But yes, its still early in FA and there's the draft

A Mike Williams and or Corey Davis changes the entire picture

    jc

All I want to see is a healthy Sammy Watkins on one side of the field and rookie Corey Davis on the other. Add Clay into the mix and we'll be fine.
