  1. I think the Ravens are praying someone trades for him but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. At that point they’re basically screwed and he will probably sit or the Ravens could make an example out of him and just bench him. It could get ugly. I said 2 years ago that the Jackson experiment in Baltimore was coming to a close and I still believe that. That first Bills game made their decision for them. That was his ceiling. It’s time to move on before they all get fired.
  2. I think we’re probably going CB. It’s probably the best value and a soon to be position of extraordinary need.
  3. He totally whiffed a few years back. Jimmy Clausen maybe? I can’t remember but he definitely clowned himself.
  4. Lol. It’s definitely going to cost more than that.
  5. Beane is incapable of drafting impactful players so this is the avenue he’s forced to take. I’m fine with it.
  6. You took one hell of a nap through both the 2008 and 2009 seasons where he racked up a whopping 27 catches for 275 yards. He got hurt the following year.
  7. He was our #4 WR and most notably returned punts. He was injured often and then benched because he wasn’t very good.
  8. Parrish couldn’t run routes. He wasn’t a real WR so I hope your comparison isn’t accurate.
  9. We can’t give him credit for the Diggs trade either. That was more of a desperation/panic move after Antonio Brown left him at the alter. The player did work out tho.
  10. I assume that we’ll draft OL but I have zero confidence that Beane and our scouts can identify talent. If Beane does something stupid like TE then he’s definitely finished here.
  11. There’s only one way to fix that.
  12. You already saw BBB’s move. He went first.
  13. Beane’s “body of work” hasn’t been good. He gets credit for Josh and that’s really it. Mostly misses from there on out and they were bad times to miss, as you can see. We needed those building blocks and struck out swinging. Some of these defensive picks will likely be out of the league 2 years from now. Some would probably be out of the league right now if they weren’t on our team. That’s bad.
  14. Wasn’t he Carolina’s starter? Lol
  15. Just what we needed for cold, snowy conditions. Lol
  16. It won’t be him since he’s a fumbler. McD don’t play that.
  17. The team looks about done with the “process.” If this year starts terribly, he could be fired mid-season. Everyone here will says that’s impossible just like they said how much everyone loved Edmunds year after year. Personally, I think they decided they weren’t keeping Edmunds a few years ago. I feel the same way about McBeane as most in Tampa did about Gruden. People appreciated that he came in and made a terrible offense a little better and won a SB but everyone knew he wasn’t a hood longterm answer as coach. He was absolutely horrid at drafting and team building and it got so bad that players were leaking that they didn’t want to play for him anymore, kinda similar to Diggs’ recent hinting. Well, Gruden stayed 2 years too long and absolutely annihilated the team and it took a long time to recover from that damage. Let’s not do that.
  18. The defense is going to suck regardless so it doesn’t matter much. I would rather suck in cheaper fashion and spend the resources on the side that matters before Josh demands a trade after next season.
  19. We had to watch him play.
  20. Agree. It will be weird not seeing a guy running around lost out there. He always brought the game day laughs in my household.
  21. You sure about that? With Frazier being forced out I can definitely see McD using that as an excuse to draft mostly defense. Don’t believe me?
  22. Yup. Fletcher was also victimized pretty often before he came to Buffalo. His deficiencies were targeted just like Edmunds. My vote is neither.
  23. There’s no QBs in the NFC so do what you have to draft one and you’ll win pretty easily. I like the move. No one cares about compensation if you end up with a good one.
  24. Correct. We won’t see much improvement and someone else will have to go. It could be more aggressive but it won’t matter much because we lack playmakers and skill on that side of the ball. There isn’t a player on this defense that would fetch a 2nd round pick from another team tomorrow so that’s where we’re at. The only way to fix it is by replacing the bad players with good players and that takes time.
  25. Yup. Everyone is always exaggerating on that. The defense wasn’t all that better either and reverted back to suck the following week.
