  1. Right now Allen is riding the Sham Race Horse narrative when it comes to MVP.

When Sham ran in the ‘73 Derby he clocked in at an estimated between 1:59.74 and 1:59.93, making him the second fastest horse in Kentucky Derby history.

2nd Fastest Trip ever at the Derby … and the horse still lost …

two straight seasons Allen has put up numbers that would’ve been good to win the MVP if not for existence of Aaron Rodgers.

He will win it eventually…Rodgers can’t play forever.

I'll never believe in analytical nonsense again. Our legendary #1 defense has given up 80 points to KC in the last 2 playoff games. Taylor shreds us for 5 tds.  Our coaches probably get a -8.6 for situational awareness. Any team that loses to the Jags doesn't deserve squat.  Josh Allen is the only thing at 8.6

    Week 2 - Miami - 35-0

    Week 3 - Washington 43-21

    Week 4 - Houston 40-0

I think after these 3 games … they were going to ride a lot juiced numbers all the way to the end of the season because folks just look at the numbers but wouldn’t think to look into the actual circumstances of those games.

And then they all act shocked when Bucs or Chiefs or whoever roll the Buffalo Defense

Both of these teams looked like crap at times this season, so we need to remember next year that the road to the SB is not always smooth .

Its only going to get more confusing to fans and media as the 7team playoffs plays out longer too.

  4. For Matthew Stafford, 60 minutes and victory away from a destiny fulfilled, dreams realized and the an automatic stamped ticket to a Gold Jacket and the Hall of Fame…

For Joe Burrow, we knew it could be his league soon…we just didn’t know it could be THIS SOON.  60 minutes and a victory away from the NFL being Joey B’s world and rest of the QBs…just paying rent.

    Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

  5. SUPER BOWL 25

    :08 Seconds Left

in the current era…you probably try one more sideline pass, right?

Coach Levy didn’t waste a second on his decision.  Kelly spiked it at 8 seconds and Norwood was already on the field.

Just a difference in ear as where being so much more pass happy and effective at it I think if it’s a same situation in 2022 they try one more pass.

You’ve set an impossible bar.  Pretty much it would conclude only Belichick should be an NFL coach

I personally would not fire all those coaches that don’t win the Super Bowl (soem yes and some no)

and I’ve just observed over many years that fan bases and media eventually run out of patience with head coaches who win but don’t win at all.

  7. defense Greatly benefits from the offense scoring early and putting pressure on the opponents Rookie/Back Up QB to start throwing.

When Buffalo wins…it is usually always the same flow to each game.

It’s very rare Buffalo “comes back” to win.  Or they just don’t play enough GOOD QBs who actually punch back.  When those teams do actually punch back…Buffalo also falters.

Buffalo is a front running, bully team.  The bell rings and buffalo likes to explode out of the gate.

you said Cowher kept losing SBs.  He lost  a single one.

Well, yes.  I said he kept failing to win the Super Bowl.  Which is true.

Every season you don’t win…you have failed to the win the Super Bowl.

Example…Buffalo was a big favorite to go the super bowl.

    They didn’t make it,

Hence, McDermott hence failed to win the Super Bowl.

Cowher coached them in 2 SB, won 1.

Current troubles in Ukraine may be prompting him to consider leaving the Rams?

That’s the distinction between the two franchises.

Bucs didn’t wait.  They knew they had a Super Bowl team but felt they had to upgrade at coach to win it, and had no issue removing Dungy and bringing in Gruden.

Steelers waited.  It took 14 years and he finally won.

Although you could argue if it was any other franchise than Pittsburgh and their tradition of keeping coaches…Cowher probably would have been fired in the late 90s on another franchise.

Now if Buffalo doesn’t win next season (I’m skeptical) which path do they pick to be.

Honestly - I wish we were led by an offensive minded HC. I like McDermott and what he's done during his time here.

However, in my mind, if the Bills fail to get to the SB next year, I would make a change at HC.

    And I'd go offensive.

it is beyond a doubt the most fascinating aspect of what could come if the bills do not win the Super Bowl in the next two seasons.

    Do they…

1.) Go the Pittsburgh Steelers route, they were winning under Cowher, but kept failing to win super bowl… and they stuck with him.

    or

2.) Go to Tampa Bay Buccaneers route they were not reaching their ultimate goal with Tony Dungee and they brought in the assassin Jon Gruden to win the Super Bowl.

  11. He is so young as a head coach

and has already made 2 Super Bowls with 2 different quarterbacks.

But he’s got so much going for him regardless that should he walk away he’s golden.

Youth, Offensive Minded Coach (which the league is), up to date on current trends.

coach could take off nearly off a decade, come back, and only be Coach McDermotta age right now.

And I still consider Coach McDermott young enough!

Allens specialty is curls/comeback routes to the outside and deep crossers that almost always go out of bounds after being caught. Our screen game has been mediocre lately and Josh has never been much of a true go-ball thrower. So quick slant routes would be the best way to get YAC for us. Maybe Dorsey will unlock it, but with Josh being so good at other things Im not gonna get too upset about it. The 9 yards comeback route to Diggs is unguarable sometimes.

Take that Mahomes-Hill 60+ yard TD.

Mahomes takes some off and throws a perfectly placed ball to hit Hill in stride while crossing right over the middle and Wallace looks to be in good position.

Now for Allen…does he make that throw?  I would lean…no.

I would say if he is going to throw that, it will be coming out way too hard and have a much lower % of duplicating the play Mahomes and Hill had.

    But

i Still think Allen would make a play.  He probably pumps it, spins, tucks, and rumbles for a 30-35+ gain.

There are just other things he is top notch in that can supplement him not wanting to make that throw…but still achieving very good results l.

Let me play Devil's Advocate here for a second.

    This year Murray had:

4300 yards and 29 TDs while missing 3 games.

    Last year:

    4790 yards and 37 TDs

    Rookie year:

    4266 yards and 24 TDs

Allen's first 3 years he had:

    2020- 4965 yards and 45 TDs

    2019- 3599 yards and 29 TDs

    2018- 2704 yards and 18 TDs (12 games)

On these boards when trying to prove a point about Allen we include his rushing totals into an "all purpose" context quite frequently. Same can be done Murray.

His 1 playoff game was a disaster. However, to back and watch Josh in the 2nd half of his 1st playoff game against the Texans.

Not saying Murray is going to follow the same path and has the same room to grow as Allen, however statistically speaking they are in the same ballpark through similar points of their career.

No reason to play Devils Advocate.  Your just telling the truth.

Murray has gotten better each season and the Cardinals have gotten better each season with him.

Completion %, Yards, Touchdowns, Yards per Attempt, Rating and Arizona team record

    All have improved each season.

People got to let the Hail Murray Play really warp them.  Sheesh!

"No coach I'd rather play for in the entire world…which I thought was nice, since first time I really talked to him.”

    😂😂😂

McDaniel playing chess while everyone else is eating their checkers.

Hopefully he can stay the eccentric, goofy, hipster and not get swallowed up by “NFL…so important…life and death.  Let’s skip our only months of summer so we can get back to football.”  🙄

Baseball is so depressingly boring... it would be like going into witness protection.

Even people who go to baseball games barely pay attention most of the time. It's just guys standing around in sunglasses while the batter hits 13 foul balls or finally strikes out. When something actually happens of substance it's like "WOW! a hit!"

I guess that's the big excitement of a baseball game. A HIT! Oh he didn't make it to first though.... Back to looking at the skyline and talking about anything else other than the game happening on the field.

At least each team plays 1,361 games a season!

And to go to baseball now…when things just keep improving season by season in Arizona…got to be contract posturing or just nonsense

    I dunno.
He’s just an example of GMs doubling down on the latest trend. You like Sean McVay? Well how about Mike McDaniel?

Theres no one successful type of NFL coach anymore. That “leader of men” thing has passed its expiration date.
    - the Jr High Gym Coach type, McDermott. He’ll run drills alongside you and dare you to keep up.
    - the Tough Guy Who’s Got Your Back Ron Rivera type.
    - the I’ve Seen It All and Earned Your Respect Andy Reid/Belichick type

    - the Wunderkind Would Be Called a Gym Rat if football were played in a gym McDaniel/McVay type (helps if your dad was a coach, but that can be overcome by hanging around for years as if your dad was a coach)

As far as I can tell the only coaching style that’s effectively dead is the Rex Ryan Loudmouth Prototype. No one seems to be offering those guys a job. Jon Gruden was the final kick to the nuts of those guys.

Bill O’ Brien is still lurking the sidelines.  Unfortunately, TB12 isn’t around anymore to tell him to STFU.

I'd be kind of bummed if I was a Texans fan.  Smith seems like a nice guy, but he hasn't fared well as HC.

Honestly, Flores is a much better candidate.  It's weird to me that no one seriously tried to hire him (just as weird as Miami firing him - I still don't know what they were thinking).

I think they were thinking …

It’s year 3 of the Flores Program.  Expectations are to be a Playoff Team.

    Dolphins went 1-7.

    Goal: Playoffs

    Reality: 1-7

You pull that nonsense in Year 1…maybe Year 2, if you have a QB Injury to use as an excuse.

You pull that nonsense in YEAR 3?!?  1-7.  1-7 in Year 3?!?!

It is time for you to go!
