I don’t care what happens - I do not see Ravens/Bengals playing for the AFC title.

I think Bills, Chargers, Tennessee, Cincinnati are division winners.

I think Denver, Baltimore, Indy - are the Wild Cards - so I guess 2 AFC West teams.

I think the Hill trade hurts KCs offense significantly and doesn’t help Miami enough to make the playoffs.  There are trades that both teams win - I think this is a trade where both teams lose.

Yeah…I think the Bengals have the talent and obviously the special QB to repeat.  But the bengals are probably interchangeable for several AFC teams.

However, when it comes to the Ravens.  About 7-8 teams in the AFC with “special” QBs.  Each in their own way.

And when each player/team is that close…I always look for those intangibles that will put them over the top.

In 2022…no one is hungrier or has more motivation than Lamar.  Dude will ride that energy in 2022.

  2. Amazing world.

This week…Pegulas and Officials announce new stadium and 30 year lease to keep Buffalo Bills in Western New York.

Tonight…during RJ Banner, the Fans at the Key Bank Center showered down an avalanche of ‘Boos’ when the Pegulas were announced.

Maybe Kim Pegula had a point.  🤷.

  3. I just love how the field in this game is falling apart and the fans are right on top of the field in the one end zone.

    Thurman covered in mud.

The Brown’s head coach just ditching the headset.

art Modell going crazy on the game ending interception.

This game has more personality to me then maybe any game I’ve watched in five years

Majority of the reason JA runs or has to run is due to a weak run game!! Singletary is not a legitimate 3 down back. He’s a legit 3rd down back. This team hasn’t had a legit ground team in nearly a decade. It’s pretty clear.

Allen is still living in that Youthful Invulnerability mode.

He rarely gives up on any play.  Sometimes that results in an incredible scramble and run or a scramble/pass completion or a very weird looking interception thrown while falling backwards.

he hasn’t really paid the price for not giving up on a play whether that be in turnovers or injury.

The NFL has a way though of the law of averages always balancing out.

you look at somebody like Brady who gets mocked out for doing it but what does Brady do the second play a play blows up he throws the ball right into the dirt.

Live to fight another day.  He’s learned that the game doesn’t have to be won on the second drive of the first quarter.

For Ellen running there’s only so much the coaches can do because they can’t control what he’s gonna do when a play breaks down and goes off script.

eventually you will assume that Allen. will learn due to age injury or just experience…

Lol there’s a reason why we have the best odds to win the Super Bowl and Vegas has picked the dolphins to finish 17th.  Tyreek does not play linebacker…they will not win a shootout vs josh Allen no matter who they have at receiver.  They needed a full defensive overhaul and to shore up all 5 positions on the offensive line and out of those two things they upgraded 40% of the OL and got tyreek hill.

Seeing as the Rams were only the 7th best bet and the Bengals were 29th.

Im not sure how much I want to buy into the pre season odds.  Not when there are more games…more playoff teams and more opportunities for playoff randomness.

For me this move changes nothing in the AFCE despite Hill being a great player. As for the AFC as a whole that is a different story. The Bills will be challenged. The AFCW is really good, the AFCN with the exception of the Steelers will be a challenge. The Colts and Titans have both given the Bills fits recently so the road to the Super Bowl will be a tough one but not the AFCE.

Does it surprise you that Miami was only 1 game out of winning the AFC EAST in 2021?  All they needed was a split against Buffalo.

It is an interesting dynamic, Buffalo/Miami.  Buffalo clearly has had upper hand on Flores Dolphins…but over the course of a full season…they ended up so close to each other.

So Miami is going all in with Tua?  I don’t get it, you have to build off a franchise QB and they have two backups in the roster.  They have 3 awesome WRs, two great CBs and a drastically improved OL.  Problem is, they have no QB.  I don’t get why the Phins would push all their chips into the center of the table this year.

It’s time to win in Miami.  Simple.

2020 - 1 win over Buffalo to make playoffs.

2021 - 1 win over Buffalo to win division.

They are looking for a split against Buffalo.  1 win.  Hill might be that piece to give them that 1 win…with of course a whole new team/offensive energy philosophy with McDaniel.

If I had put a top 7 right now:

    1. Bills — core in place and added key parts

    2. Bengals — improving their O line and amazing O. (Could have won that SB)

    3. Raiders — Carr a good QB with arguably the best WR now.

    4. Chiefs - Still have Mahomes and 2 1sts to replace Hill.

    5. Colts - Ryan is old but still good and with that run game and Defense they be good.

    6.  Browns - Watson is real good, they have a good D and amazing Run game.. but it’s the browns..

    7. Broncos — Good D but meh O line and Watson likes playing hero ball I think.

Browns are going right up my power rankings when we see just how many games Watson gets suspended for or if at all.

There is a scenario in my mind they start 2-5 and then make playoffs as hottest team at 10-7.

I’m confused on #1. They have game day coaching (opposite day?) or they would be #1 if they had that….

2019 - Blew 16 Point 2nd Half Lead in WC

2020 - Kicking FG from KC 2 yard line end of 2nd Qt.

    2021 - 13 Seconds and Defense

i think I’m within the realm of reason to question just how good Coach McDermott can be when the opponents are evenly stacked and the moments are big.

Staley has been burned on some of his 4th down aggression.  But I feel over time it is the right move and those decisions will balance out and it will lead to more winning.

I will believe the KC drop when I see it. I think your QB is much more important than a guy like Hill. Mahomes will still win them games.

You can say that all of the Great/Franchise QBs who last many seasons go thru many eras of talented players around them.

The QBs will our last all of their stars around them.

The DVOA ranking disagrees with you here. The Bills had the number 1 defense in DVOA which accounts for how all other teams performed against like opponents. Additionally, Bills were number 1 in pass defense DVOA.

Certainly the Bills defense can be better, particularly playing elite qb’s as you have alluded too. But making a point via exaggerating (4th string qb’s comment) the circumstances doesn’t do much to help your case.

DVOA is one the best indicators of team performance because it compares how a team performed against another team in relation to how all other teams did against said team.

DVOA is fun.  Unless you are watching these games and game flow.

Texans Game is a perfect example.

David Mils (Texans 3rd String Rookie QB) making his 1st Road Start In Buffalo.  With no offensive weapons.

    87 yards 4 INTs

Not all starts … time/place/situation are equal.

Man I must of forgotten that Hill and Kelce were both in traction during week 5. You know the time we played them with our all pro CB last year.

Well we had T. white for the 2020 AFC Champ Game.

Mahomes had no problem rolling 325 yards 3 TDs and 127.6 Rating.

The Pats defense is slow and getting slower, so I'll give you that.  The Bills were torched in KC in the playoffs, but that's without Tre White and, again, it's KC and they do that to everyone when they are on.

Bills defense comes up small when it’s any starting QB with their actual weapons.

one of the Achilles heels of the Fraizer/McDermott Defense.

as long as their opponent is rolling out their 4th string QB with all backups in the WR Core…Buffalo going to dominate.

    other than that…ehhhhh
