NFL network said this just made our locker room infinitely better. -
C Mitch Morse (Chiefs) to the Bills

Assuming this is true it addresses a key need. Josh needs the veteran C to make line calls, set protections and such. If we get a RT I'll be happy. -
FIXING #30 OFFENSE,HELPING JOSH SUCCEED-keeping score
oldmanfan replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Quit being so damn obnoxious. You think they're just sitting around? They have said more times than I can count they think you build through the draft and use FA to fill some holes. They've also said they want to use some cap space to keep some of their guys like White. One decent OT has been signed by my count and you're acting like a little kid whose Mom doesn't get him the candy on the way out of the store. Are you holding your breath till you turn blue right now? -

And here we go. Whine that they haven't signed anyone earlier today, then whine when they do. Some of you should trade your Bills gear in. -

Didn't see that coming. Solid guy even at his age. Get some linemen now. -
Getting upset two days before actual opening of signings is a useless waste of energy. Couple years ago people were upset about only signing Hyde and Poyer and that worked out pretty well. They know they need upgrades on the O line and at TE ands WR. It would be beyond dumb to think they have no plans to address those.

I swear you cannot get anything right. What Beane and McD have said about their process is they want guys that are dedicated to football. Everything read about Brown is that he was a very hard worker, at least until the nonsense he went through last season. It is clear you have no understanding of what a GM does. Beane made some inquiries about the guy, they talked about a deal, and as it went forward he and probably Brown decided it wasn't going to work. That is what GMs do, their job is to look to improve their team. If he had not made any inquiries, you and others would bash him for not doing so.

You are being completely ridiculous. A GMs job is to look at improving his team. Brown is an excellent WR. So his job is to see what the possibilities are. Which he did. As far as being liars about character, you are the one lying. They have been very clear that what they want are guys that put football first. That is the kind of guy they want. And from all reports Brown is a very hard worker, at least until this recent blowup. I am quite sure they would have had questions about that and would have weighed that into any decision making but it never got that far. Honest to God you and other have reached the point of irrationality. Beane makes inquiries about Brown and he's wrong. If he had done nothing the. Itching would be about why he wasn't in the market for him. And if he had signed it would have been why pay so much for an over 30 WR that's a problem child. You don't want Beane to succeed. You just want to B word no matter what.

You look dumb for saying the Bills look dumb. Read Breer's column on si.com. The Bills GM just like other teams looked at the potential deal and decided the money didn't work. Are all the other team's GMs dumb, or is it just a convenient excuse for some Bills fans to take yet another shot at management?
