Oh, and then just as the bottom of the screen says "pick is in", that "trade alert" graphic pops up right next to it. I knew it couldn't be a trade for the #1 pick since it was in already, but it still caught me off guard for a brief second. lol. Buffalo fandom....

Sadly, neither am I. What a waste of a 1st round pick in an amazingly deep draft. Its its amazing how terrible Tim Murray was looking back in hindsight. He had a blank slate and a giant pile of assets, and Buffalo is not really left with much to show for it. Ok, done venting. Sorry. It's 1 day to Dahlin! Not is not a time to be all mopey about Murray... lol

Dahlin started playing defense full time at age 13. He just turned 18 in April... so 5yrs as a full time defenseman. And he's this good already. Amazing. If he's this great after only 5yrs, can you imagine where he will be in another 5? Or 10? It would be quite the understatement to say that I am excited to see this kid develop.

I grabbed a 1 year PS+ subscription on Amazon earlier this year on sale for $39. I don't know if that a regular thing they do or what. May be worth keeping an eye out for if/when your renewal is coming up.

Totally agree. It would only help improve the NFL as a whole. Maybe that new AAF (Alliance of American Football) league that Bill Polian is overseeing will help some of these players develop. I guess Polain is trying to only hire coaches with NFL experience, and I believe one of his goals is to help prepare some of these players for the NFL. Hopefully it'll work out. At the very least it'll give some of these players a platform to be noticed by NFL clubs.

It was actually McNabb and TWO 2nd round picks for Fasching and Deslauriers Well, let's see if Brandon Hickey even signs here first. Hes is a college senior. He can turn UFA on August 15th. He's been traded 3 times now and hasn't even started his NHL career yet, because He has already refused to sign in Calgary (which is why he was traded to Arizona) and in Arizona (which is why he was traded here). No kidding. Just another brutal trade and horrible asset management by Tim Murray. We trade two 2nd round picks and Brayden McNabb, who was just #2 in even strength ice time (among defenseman) for the Stanley Cup runner up, for basically nothing. We have Zac Redmond (career AHL defenseman) to show form that trade at the moment. And maybe Brandon Hickey if he decides to sign here, and possibly another career AHL player (Mike Sislo) if he signs here as a UFA. Where as McNabb would easily be in our top 4 right now. And i get that as far as the two 2nd round picks, the odds of drafting a good NHL player are not all that high. But it's more about what that package could have potentially brought Buffalo. You package two 2nds with a good young defenseman on his ELC, who's coming off an AHL all star appearance (McNabb at the time of trade) and ready to take the next step to the NHL, I have a hard time believing that Buffalo couldn't have used that package of assets for a better player than 4th round pick Hudson Fasching.

I honestly don't understand the hate that some people have for Tyrod.

Definitely an intriguing UDFA signing, and one that I'll be following closely. He seems like like a guy worth developing, and I believe he landed in a really good spot to do so, having both McDermott and John Butler (who I think was a fantastic hire). Both have shown an ability to develop CB's and/or make them better. Plus I think he could do well in this scheme. Thr Bills really need some of these UDFA's to work out this year. Fingers crossed on Wallace!

Sounds like it's going to be a while yet on Elder Scrolls 6. Its only in pre-production. They still have to release Fallout '76, and then another totally new game called "Starfield", which is still in production and doesn't even have a release date yet. After those games are released they will put their focus on making Elder Scrolls. So from what I understand it is still likely years away. Definitely sucks about Fallout '76. I'm so disappointed. lol Personally, I kind of hope it's a total bust and crappy seller, so that they go back to their normal single player Fallout games. Or for ****'s sake at least make a single player mode for one of the most popular single player games ever!

It's obviously hard to know for sure, but this piece makes it sound like Shady is buying in to this new offense, which is obviously important from your best player (on offense). When he was first hired, I was pumped up for our run game because I thought his blocking scheme fit our o line very well. Now... who knows with this patchwork o line. But I'm still excited about Daboll. Let's be real here, though - Daboll isn't exactly working with a great offense here. I mean really, we have no clue what he has on offense with such HUGE question marks at QB and 4/5ths of the offensive line. Much of his success in year 1 will likely come down to those 2 things. Same with Greg Roman. He had a massive playbook. Wanted to try and confuse the defense. I remember Shady saying that he'd install sometimes 100+ plays on a given week. Anthony Lynn came in and simplified it, with good results. Hopefully the results with Daboll are much better. He seems like a really smart guy, though, and I like a lot of what he says/believes. I hope he can stick around a while. I'd love to see some continuity on that side of the ball. It'd be awesome to actually have the same offenseive and defensive staff for a few years in a row (or longer...) for a change.

Well damn, that blows. I wont even buy it now if that's the case. I have zero interest in playing online (same reason I never bought Elder Scrolls morrowind, even though I love elder scrolls). Very disappointed in Bethesda. I was really looking forward to this game, too. IMO this goes against everything Fallout is. You are taking a great RPG that people have Loved for a decade + and totally changing it. How are you going to force the "lone wanderer" to play with groups of people?

I believe there will be a single player mode too, won't there? Like you, I just want to play offline. I don't really have a group of friends who game, and have no interest in trying to find random people to play with. Plus, like you said, there are too many people who just want to torture you. I remember playing 'Watch Dogs' for the first time. I had never played before and wasn't too good at it. Well I had no idea that people could just 'hack' your game and invade it. I kept having the same guy invade my game over and over and over again. I would have to try and search for him and find/kill him before the time was up and he "hacked" me, or got away. Well, even when I'd find him he'd just torture/taunt me. Then he'd lose me and show back up just before the time ran out and he won, just to torture me longer. I could never kill him, he was too good. Well finally after about 3 hours of him invading my game every 15-30 mins, I said screw it and quit playing (then found out you can turn off the in game invasions). But yeah, I just like to do my own thing.

Well spoken kid. I like his attitude, too. Very easy to root for. You can see why people have said that his teammates (supposedly) love him and gravitate towards him. Really hope we finally hit the lotto with this pick. But hey, no matter what at least the Bills are finally playing (the lottery). Can't win if you don't even play!

Good for Jennings. It sounds like he really busted his ass and took advantage of that internship opportunity. Hope he does well and earns a promotion higher up the Bills scouting ranks.

I finally bought a copy of the original Destiny last year, just to see what all the hype was about. It was ok, but I couldn't really get too far playing solo. So I quit playing and haven't played since. lol I could see how it would be cool to play online and/or with friends though. I'm just not an online gamer.

Crazy that Toronto has better odds than the Penguins (2 Cups in the last 3 years) and Washington. And even Nashville. Especially with Toronto losing JVR (who had 36 goals for them this year) and Bozak. That's about 100pts leaving their lineup. They have a lot of cap space, so they very well could replace both those players in free agency. But still, until you see what they do in FA it's hard to say that they will definitely be a better team than last year.
